I planned to go for a day or two on my next visit to Rio and wanted to get some points of interest and which saunas to go to.... Any suggestions are appreciated.... Since then we've been introduced to Fernando who will give you all that you're requesting and then some. Check out his reviews at www.tripadvisor.com. Check out the archives here; perhaps there is some old stuff that might be useful still!! Last year a good friend of mine who I met while in Rio de janeiro had Fernando as a guide. He, my amigo, was more than pleased. In another post here, one of Fernando's former clients wrote highly of him!
