Although Rio sounds the best choice, I'd prefer a shorter trip from Miami to somewhere with easy access to hunky rent boys:-) Have booked for a Cuban vacation in March, so I am thinking of Santo Domingo and Bogota for mid January? Thought DR is safer place than Colombia? i just wish to have a relaxed, slow paced vacation without much other activity planned. I have been thinking of Santo Dominingo, Dominican Republic primarily because of the warmer weather in January. I am going to do my homework on Medellin ad Bogota now.
