I sometimes watch old videos on Youtube. Hoping to find som new ones from the past, but usually no luck. A moment ago I stumbled across this one, I had seen it before, but how can it be that this still brings tears to my eyes? Many familiar faces, thai and falang. The bar where my beloved worked can be seen, but at this time already under another name. Happy that he is still with me today after 18 years.

Mikes Le Cage bar....I imagine he wouldn't be around nowadays, maybe in spirit 

 

I must be pervert but for me ever new trip seems to be better than those previous ones. Not that I did not have fun then but I think now I'm better in navigating system and fishing boys closest to my dreamed of specification while then I tend to catch first who crossed my way and smiled at me. But it's just me

Yes it's just you , if your main purpose is hunting for boys maybe you're right but some of us wants good entertainment nightlife , lively Ambiance and dominant gay entertainment zones , Sadly nowadays it's a shadow to what it used to be.

I agree with part in bold but have a lot of doubts if word " sadly" has place in the same sentence. As I said before i like it now

No dispute that there were more choices  in the past. But did most of us really used it? Perhaps expats or people on 3 months vacations.

I like it better now because it's now and presents options I can use currently.

Boys I was drooling about 10 years ago now are  often balding , developing respectable waist size and often trying to forget about their past job.

For me no memory substitutes for moment I'm entering bar  and spa now, curious as ever what I will find on other side of door . If I dream I rather visualize  my first walk next trip through soi 4  toward Jupiter on my way greeted by owner of G'Bangkok or barkers at Banana then recall some exciting first walk through soi Twilight bak in 2015 as much as I miss it. But it's gone   .

On merit of Sunee it's easy for me as I never really considered the place substitute to my more favorable digs - Boyztown. I liked Good Boys though but still can't say I missed it since it's not there anymore.

I remember there was some problems regarding his bf. Since then I have not seen Mike. Maybe he is on this forum, who knows.

We are going back around 15 years though...I think he was late 60's then ?

That bar eventually was taken over by the former Baan Dok Mai hotel owner

Many of us are getting older, and our interests and preferences have changed.  Being in bed by 10 p.m. can be the new norm.  So arranging for someone to entertain / service / please / accompany us earlier rather than later in the day is what we look for.  😁

I'm nearly 60 still fit 

I guess if I slept during the day I could party all night again ...but I don't know..it doesn't interest me as much as before going to karaoke ,discos etc 

I don't know how my body would it could cope , probably get sick 🤢

Mike had his 60th birthdayparty in LaCage in June 2010. There are Youtube videos from that occasion. So he would be 74 this summer.

Great video showing boys dancing on the elevated tables at Krazy Dragon. Was it a staged sequence for publicity or marketing as I don’t recall that many boys performing on an average night ?. Those loose white shorts were a “turn-on” with slits affording groping hands easy access after giving a small tip. I do remember the boys circulating by jumping from table to table, without ever falling off. I must have offed from KG but I can’t bring to mind an instance. Maybe the twinky boys in the other Sunee gogos were more of an attraction in that era.
