  1. Oh, about that. It isn't official charity for sure. But it isn't business. As a business private tours are very flexible and scalable - just put more guides, spend some money in advertising and you will have profit. I know sites with hundreds of guides and/or hundreds of tours. On bkktours and siamroads we year by year have max 3-4 guides in city (for example now in Bangkok are only 2 guides + driver).
  2. Sure. When Thailand is 3d country by incoming tourism, then here is market Sill 3 of 4 bookings are about day tours: sightseeing, shopping, entertaining (parks, zoo, exhibitions/museums), adventures and pseudo-adventures (elephant raiding, fishing, zip-lines, quests). Some travelers just don't like to travel solo, some wants to save time and to be supported by experience of locals, some are quite old and need help and a little bit nursing, some just need somebody who will arrange everything around (cars, schedule, plans and so on). Main part of job is guiding, but concierge services and companionship is still in demand: from food delivery to translations at business meetings.
  3. Do you know how for me looks this dialogue? Something like that:
  4. Speaking about licenses: on the photo - Mac in Bangkok at the dinner after receiving his upgraded touristic license at past weekend:
  5. We have great trust within the team. So I already know all "strange" stories. The way how SiamRoads works gives protection to boys: they have licenses and can't be blackmailed, also they can openly report sexual harassment/assaulting to police and don't afraid accusation in prostitution.
  6. Wrong, wrong and wrong. 1. It isn't my service, you call it again "your" but at third (I think) time I tell you: I'm owner of website and run it for guys, but it isn't "my service" 2. 5 guides in Thailand and 1 driver to 8 guides in another countries, where is "mostly in Thailand"? 3. Give me name and write here "I had sex with NNN when he been guide for me and that was at time of paid tour" or "I had paid sex with NNN at time when he been listed at SiamRoads and I made agreement via SiamRoads". And I will take this person from website at next 10 min after reading it. I don't want to be pimp.
  7. You spoke about Max. Max is in Vietnam. And I doubt what you met him "on other sites". Think chances are about zero.
  8. Sure, it is professional question cuz we promise to clients of SiamRoads "gay companions" and "gay guides". Also I have to be sure what they know local gay scene and will be not shy to visit gay bars/clubs/saunas, what they know local conditions, traditions and rules in clubs, will be able translate without shyness client's chat with local boy. This is part of SiamRoads unique offer: "we know what our clients wants, we know where it is, we are the same, please talk with us straightforward". Mamasan in club must to know who are her boys cuz she sells their bodies. Siamroads doesn't sell bodies, so question about guys preferences is out of my interests applicable for site. I have BF, so I don't want to ask it for myself also.
  9. it will be quite unprofessional ... I prefer to stay out of such questions with guys of SiamRoads
  10. Have no idea, never ask them. The only question about sexuality I ask at time of interview with Max: "are you gay?" and linked to that: "do you know local gay scene?", both answers were "yes" For sure you know how long I know Yaya already and work together with him, and I still have no idea about his preferences as well
  11. 100% correct
  12. Recent photo of Best - guide in Pattaya from Siamroads.com
  13. There is no food in this hotel: no restaurant or cafe (only some instant noodle and some tea bags + cold beverages on reception). . They have 2 restaurants "next door" on right and on left (not a part of hotel), but nothing in hotel. Hotel itself consist from 2 3-store buildings, connected by gallery, +16 bungalow around pool.
  14. Now we also have guide in Yangon - Matt. Sweet guy with really nice personality.
  15. could you please be a little bit more specific in your question? I often use Fish Inn Bund and like it a lot - clean, central location, cozy rooms, not expensive, close to almost everything as it possible Even wi-fi is quite fast there And yes, they allows overnight visitors - just charge for towel (don't remember how much). http://www.fishinn.com.cn
  16. Ohh at time of coffee break, tour in Bangkok. Just reminder: high season starts soon, probability of hiring guide "at last minute" is about zero at high season, please book your tours in advance - at least in 3-4 weeks.

Vietnam 30% and 25% respectively, Myanmar 20% and 15%. If you have plans to use service of our guides and companions, please don't delay booking. 21. Just type Kaung at search bar on the top of forum
  22. Price is for guide only. Usually car for day is around $35 but it depends on season and on path (than more far is travel - then more expensive is car - Cambodia has no own fuel. And about Sareth: you may find more cheap guide (around $35-$40), but no warranty what he will be gay and know gay scene. Also if talk about quality - Sareth is in TOP-20 on Tripadviser from 500+ local guides (Over 150 5* and 4* testimonials). By the way: Angkor admission rised not far ago. You will pay only for yourself, as licensed guide Sareth has free entrance in all state museums. PS, pls find my tips for travelers to Siem Reap at Sawatdee in Cambodian sub-forum. Even if you will not use Sareth's service, tips will help to avoid most problems in Angkor.
