  1. Australian pound was replaced by dollar about 50-60 years ago
  2. too much talk about food usually means sex drive is vanning, no?
  3. I doubt, while I don't go for vacation to save money since staying at home does better job in this department I'm not big on freeloaders. While I understand buying drinks for all boys present , why to treat other patrons the same way ? But yes I will ring the bell next time when it will be situation I had one afternoon last trip , Aung behind the counter and me , only patron . Cheap fun
  4. one of Jupiter guys I offed in January told me he comes only if he needs the money, I did not see him in my two visits in May recently
  5. or reckless spenders
  6. Day 8 As they say, time to say goodbye. Breakfast, again I was only farang looking guest there. Fast packing as most of my goodies are still in Baan Silom, monorel to KL Sentral and airport express from there. Air Asia did not gave me a chance to select a seat for free and system assigned me middle one but by grace of God other two seats in my row were nor assigned so I had 3 seats for myself , too bad it was only 2.hr15 mins flight. In Don Muang very fast , no immigration line whatsoever. Going to the train I heard my name all of the sudden. One of guys from former Bangkok Massage whose brother I offed at least 10 times was waiting for somebody and recognized me. Not in business any more , scuba dive instructor now. Another proof that world is small. In coupon restaurant on the way to station I treated myself with duck on the rice for 65 baht, my usual treat when in DMK and 1 hr later I returned to Baan Silom to learn that I was assigned the same room, not that I care as anyone would do. At 7 I was supposed to meet another member ggobkk who was gracious enough to find some time for meeting on day of his return home. It was about to rain so I decided to go to GBangkok bit earlier , great idea as it started raining at 7 on the dot. My friend arrived with big umbrella but soon rain stopped, After chat and dinner and more chat we decided to go to Screwboys, first visit for both of us after reopening. Mamasan recognized us immediately, they did not really opened yet but she ordered few guys to the stage, few were OK and # 26 got tips for good looks from both of us. She also remembered that my best boy ever, One was from there and showed me his pictures, serious man in mid thirties now , father of 3 but still I recall him vividly . Muscular hunk who knew very well what his clients want and delivered. But it was in 2015 and after that he disapeared from the scene for good. 100 baht for her to keep that memory fresh forever, then after a while ggobkk went to his hotel to get ready for his trip and I went to jeweler on Thaniya to exchange some money. Then to Hot male beer bar to have drinks with boys and asked P to be there tomorrow at 3 so we can assess my new stamp acquisition. Then climbed stairs to Freshboys to watch the show and tip the best looking guy as usual. By sheer coincidence he had number #26 as well . He would be my candidate for an off but over Line I already promised N, the masseur, that we sleep together tonight so went home so to speak empty handed. On my way I met on Silom his workmate who assured me that N will be there after he closes shop at 1 as today was his turn about which I was aware already.
  7. I suspect it may be a case with certain boys in other bars and massage places as well
  8. nothing wrong, name is used in industry so to speak but I don't like it. Sounds paternalistic to me. KFC Man sounds fun on another hand so I let them to have fun at my expense
  9. for breakfast I like that O'Delices , French bakery on the corner , across from Soda massage,
  10. Probably everybody will steer you to Prime in soi 6 but I will be first. Cost of massage will be good amount for tip I think if no extras are involved.
  11. of he is so well known should be easy to avoid, boys grapevine should send warning signals to newbies, no ?
  12. National Palace, KL Tower, glass cage on top, some fearless soul, Central market, Merdeka square
  13. Day 7 I waked up at 8.30 and right after breakfast I went to take hop-on , hop off bus. Virgin trip for me as I never used it anywhere. It has 17 or 18 stops , runs every 20 mins and covers all main attractions. I don’t remember cost but something tells me 60 normal , 30 senior. Whatever it is , good value for money. Mostly it stops only if there’s request but at Royal Palace ( I think is called National House there was 20 minutes stop for photos and toilet. I regret not having stop at birds park , apparently biggest of this kind in the world and it looked big although probably can take good part of day to visit so other places would be missed) It seemed most of tourist on my bus were locals and this being Malaysia comments were in good English. At stop nr 14 or 15 I decide to modify my plans as it was KL Tower, another high place. They have glass booths similar to ones at Mahanakhon but enclosed and time there is monitored and limited to few minutes. Those who remember old 1 ringgit note , Tower was featured on it. No senior discount so full 110 price but it was worth it if only to see Petronases from up high. Tower is on the hill so if taking public transit it may be n bit of uphill walk. Then I took the same bus to Bukit where I had lunch , of course chicken with cashew nuts , if only to compare with Bangkok. Then to Central market where I bought few trinkets for folks at home and from there I walked to nearby Merdeka (Freedom) square with interesting architecture and pole with giant Malaysian flag. As main squares go this was on human scale and I liked it. From my school years I recalled book called “Merdeka means freedom “ about Malaysian independence struggle and was glad that I was finally able to be there. It was afternoon and heat get to me so I decided to return to hotel as my friend had some entertainment planned for us for the evening. Because nature of this trip I constantly compare Thailand with Malaysia and must say in one filed Kuala Lumpur beat Bangkok not 10 but 20 times. Grindr. While in BKK I get few messages a day here my phone was pinging constantly , record I noted was 19 messages in 1 hour ! Unfortunately I did not utilize opportunity but it was close call as one guy accosting me actually stay in the same hotel. How I know? He actually told me he saw me in the lobby. Unfortunately he was not exactly my type and he killed his chances with calling me ‘daddy ‘ . I was called worse by better people but hate that. Call me old or ancient but ‘daddy ‘ or ‘papa ‘ is death sentence as far as engagement is concerned. We actually came eye to eye in the evening when my friend arrived and guy just emerged from hotel. Not sure he tried to stalk me but later he sent me a message saying how disappointed he is with my lack of interest. Then my friend and me went to some well conspired place providing massage services for man by man. One needs to call to get admission to the building , then wait for unit to open. Inside there were quite a few attractive guys so we made our pick and pay fee of 280 for 1.5 hr. of full service, whatever it is. Then we went to another locale in the same building where we could survey stamp collection or whatever was on the table. Place was clean, guy, Myanmarese, was willing and time kept to a minute. So I liked it , tipped guy 100 extra although I was told it was not necessary. 380 RM is roughly 3000 baht so is comparable to Bkk prices in Silom ghetto or likes like Jey Spa or Prince. Thrill was for free. My friend dropped me at hotel, my stalker was nowhere to be seen although there were few messages from him I mentioned earlier. I had moment thinking about calling him over but my gut feeling told me ‘no’, he was just too persistent, forget even whole ‘daddy ‘ issue. Floridarob claims I’m easy but I have some idiosyncrasies I observe and being too pushy or too persistent is one of them, specially when guy is of unknown quality. I even went downstairs to store nearby to buy package of loose leaf BOH tea, Malaysian brand from Cameron highlands which I found very good.
  14. best way is to go and check yourself. One thing is for sure - you can't visit Pattaya of days past anymore so rather focus on what's there now. And there's plenty
  15. I did not, I rather look at boys bulges or place where it is supposed to be
  16. vinapu

    Dubai

are those rates for a week or just 5 days?
  17. you hit the nail , and it's why they show numbers only on 3rd walkabout and congregate near exit. It seems to work as everybody who trades on the market knows that best hours are first and last one
  18. not everyone but yes, I don't mind tipping here and there , mostly in self interest as it signalizes I may be interested in future. It's like buying goodwill, LOL as for 3000 LT, yes I'd like to meet them too but have feeling that after bit of bargaining some would go for it, specially twinks as they abound on the market. Problem is, for me haggling kills the fun, after all I'm not buying shirt or shorts but time and access to privates of other man. So my strategy is to fix price before hand and haggling is minimal if at all, -his price , my price, yes or no. Sometimes they yield, sometimes I do, sometimes they overplay and we don't have a deal
  19. you mean without pics report would be dead, lol ? on serious note I get it and myself consider those reports too dry so anybody who doesn't like them may feel free to criticize, no offense will be taken
  20. day, night , bridge inside and view from the almost top floor
  21. Day 6 While day was hot , night was quite agreeable and since my room is facing east I managed to sleep without air condition, feast I repeated all 3 nights there. I like cold but don’t like cold draft and no day is better to say that than today, day I’m putting this report together as thanks to draft at work directly over my head I waked up at 4 am tonight with heavy cough and sneezing and whole day today, Jun 18 I feel like it’s my last, only slight exaggeration. Fortunately now is easing up a bit and I hope that if will go away as suddenly as it arrived. There was no consolation to talk to my friend in Germany on her birthday today as few days ago she was in the same situation thanks to AC in Malta . As you can imagine our conversation was consisting mainly coughs. Age has own privileges I guess. Back to Furama Bukit, I slept till 7 am without any interruption which means day 6 was my first without jet lag trace. It used to be 3 days now we are at 5. Breakfast in hotel at 35 RM, about 270 baht, not bad value. What made me distinguished was fact that I was only farang in full restaurant. I made bit of sociological observation, to my right and left were families of 4,mom , dad and 2 teenagers, one looked Chinese other Indian although not necessarily they were from those countries. What made me notice was how tables were looking after they left. One was fairly neat , another one was exponential mess. Sometimes we wonder why some countries are marching ahead faster than others and I thought bit of answer was right there. Of course it was one go so I’d not make much of that but still eye poking contrast it was. I made stroll around Bukit Bintang in daylight, then heat got to me so returned to hotel to freshen up and them went by combination of monorel ( how monorail is called there ) and metro to pride of Malaysia - Petronas Towers. I was awed right away, what an impressive structures !!!. Doesn’t matter their place on the list of tallest ones, 3 , 7 or 11 or whatever. In esthetics it beats them all in my not so humble opinion. My friend warned me that ticket to the top are restricted and indeed they were , specially that today was Sunday and on Monday viewing is closed. At 2 pm only 16 tickets were left for the day – they have excellent system showing what’s available All for last two lifts , at 8.30 and 8.45. So it will be KL by night. Guy at register was not blind thanks God and before I asked told me I qualify for senior discount of 60RM instead full price about twice of that. Old is gold ! There was no line up but when I was leaving 5 minutes later , ticket for 8.30 pm in the pocket , it was only 1 available for the last lift. I guess internet sales cleaned the rest. Lined my friend so we had dinner together in Bukit district. Tab reminded me we are in Muslim majority country and while food was tasty and cheap , Tiger beer was tasty and expensive. We agreed to try massages after my Petronas foray and parted ways for afternoon. I did some local sightseeing , decided to take hop-on hop off bus for full circle tomorrow. Found stop nr 1 close to Bulkit Bintang monorel station and did some walk here and there, just to taste Malaysia bit more. At dark I decided to go to towers and it was wise as they let us about 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. If during day towers look impressive and night they become just fairly tale, I should say fucking fairly tale but today is Sunday so I wont swear on holy day. First step was that bridge mid way. Because towers are swaying is not fixed but hold on some rails facilitating movement. Then 86 floor, really impressive and not for faint hearted I guess. There were some people who were reluctant to come close to the windows and I don’t blame them. I have fear of heights too but learned in my mountaineering years how to deal with that. It’s bit simple, at first don’t look into chasm, whatever it is , look straight ahead . Lined my friend from the top I’m coming down and we mat in Bukit Bintang again, had some drinks and went to look for massage. There are several shops , mostly mixed on the one street so it makes comparison shopping easy. Of course some ladies of the night tried to get business but we professed to be shy or married and after full tour of street went to shop my friend recommended. Massage was good but guy was dressed although not shy enough so I managed to tough his rigid thing through the jeans but that was about it . No extras were offered and no wonder as all they had was just curtains as dividers. Then I decided on pedicure since my feet are always disaster , whole thing lasted 2 hrs and I was charged 215 RM. Not being sure I should tip but went on side of caution and generosity and gave boy 100 RM extra. Of course it was no comparison to Bangkok other than price , 315 RM is about 2400 baht but I was happy to see other , more secretive side of KL. It was pleasure to finally have normal night of sleep again.
  22. not to defend anything or anybody but when flying to Mexico City in Nov my experience with them was exactly opposite. Granted , it was in Dulles not Miami. they wait for us , and organized fast track . So questions , did you have bad luck or I had good luck. Or simply choice of connecting airport was wrong. Hope you arrive home safe and sound
  23. airport train , KL monorail, view in the morning from my window and KL newest skyscrapper to be opened soon as seen from KL Tower
  24. Day 5 We both set our phone alarms for 6 am. After shower I left luggage downstarirs , took whatever I’m taking with me and we marched to Foodland for breakfast greeted by knowing smiles, ahem. Then S went home and I took BTS and MRT to bang Sue and from there red electric train to Don Muang. Easy check in and after 135 minutes flight I landed in Kuala Lumpur. We are in 21 century so first thing to do was to buy Malaysian SIM card, immigration was breeze and on my way to the train I Lined my local friend I’m already there and he told me where and when we will meet. Airport is quite a distance from city and train costs 55 RM which is about 400 baht but is impressive , modern and very fast. In ½ hr. I was at Central station called KL Sentral , visited friendly tourist office to get free map and direction how to get to monorail station as my hotel, Furama Bukit was near Imbi station. Great location , very close to tourist area of Bukit Bintang , 5 minutes to Imbi station and adjacent to KL newest mall built on the site of former prison of which gate is still standing. Kuala Lumpur is very modern city , very impressive but not walker friendly as it’s bisected by numerous highways and multilane streets. Fortunately public transit is fast and efficient although it takes time to get acquainted with as is provided by no less then 4 different operators, situation similar to Bangkok. Ticket price also depends of distance. After settling in my room on 17th floor I went to meet my friend. We had lunch in the mall , went to the roof where it was some sort of fair and then we made grand tour of Bukit Bintang district , tourist central of KL. There’s street with zillion of restaurants crossing one with several massage shops and where I spotted quite a few handsome masseurs . There were even ladies of the night plying their trade quite openly and one offered me her services not once but twice as we passed by her two times.. Malaysia is on different time zone then Thailand, 1 hr. ahead and is getting dark only at 7 p.m. Soon after dark I decided to go back to hotel as early rising this morning started being felt so we parted ways with my friend agreeing to meet again tomorrow.
