  1. I agree with you. Not to defend annoying mamasans but I need to repeat what I said on this forum already many times - honestly, on my first ever visit to go-go bar in not pushy mamasan I'd escape in panic and never off a boy than.
  2. you are not, from your choice of bars above it looks that you are into bit older boys , far from dangers of offing somebody too young. Hence no need to check ID in your mind. You are not alone - I'm the same

    Any tips on Laos?

Quiet but worth a trip. Luang Prabang can keep one occupied for few days just with sightseeing, trip up the river to 1000 Buddhas caves is very interesting. If one is overtempled nice braek at waterfalls can be had for a day. I was very impressed with Plain Of Jars at Phonsavan but my advice will be to spend night there and 1 day trip was very exhausting , not even as much for me but for my driver.
  4. I guess in 3 months we will know, it would be great news, such a ressurection
  5. You are correct , it would not be nice to snatch boy from another customer although boy could be relieved if he knows you and is not very fond of one who he is sitting with. But I guess nothing stops boy from dumping his customer if he really wants to. I know it from personal experience in both capacities. I was dumped by the boy for another client after deal was sealed but also boy dumped his client upon seeing me entering a bar likely because I offed him before and he knew what to expect. When I protested he just told me matter of factly ' I tell him I must go with you" . Market at work i guess. If one is really interested in a boy who is sitting with somebody else there's always option of outwaiting other guy. Often customer wants to sit with boy but has no intention of offing him sop eventually your dream boy will be released. Once at Screwboys visiting with one of our members I dispensed this advice and it worked. But only to extend - he managed to get a boy but in the room he turned less than thrilling so at end of day it was one of those cases of stunner turning sandbag.
  6. You will be Ok either way , just don't get upset if you see your favorite boy going with somebody else. He needs to make a living after all.

  8. I wonder what is wrong with me since I hear those complains constantly and yet can't recall even one case of uncomfortable bed in LOS. And is not that I pick up proper hotel as i like changing them every 2-3 nights. Perhaps anesthetic called long time off is at work?
  9. Yes, boys on stairs are looking for customers and quite often they are quite attractive. If you don't want to drag them to your hotel there are short time rooms in the Suriwong Hotel across the street and in BBB Inn around the corner from soi Twilight. Boys will know about these anyways. Jasper is right -unless you are sworn butterfly if you are fond of boy it is not a bad idea to reserve his time for a future for two reasons- you ensure known and enjoyable company and avoid being upset seeing him gone with some will ugly troll half generous and 3/4 less handsome than you

  13. you thinking too much, you will be back
  14. i imagine that in rural areas with support of extended family 500 goes quite a way and senior recipient of it is not a burden in the house but very welcomed. If piece of meat on the stick at street stall costs 10 baht in central BKK I can immagine that in Udon Nowhere it will be half of that perhaps
  15. I never been fan of Sunee but still find closure of both places very sad as I'm afraid my favourite there Good Boys may close at one point as well. Is Pattaya really becoming family destination or simply gay areas are consolidating into two, only future will tell

While you are correct, this is not just Thailand phenomena. In the west we have plenty of minimum wage people buying their lunches in coffee trucks instead of preparing them themselves and welfare recipients arriving from shopping by the taxi are common view from my balcony / I live across the street from social housing / It may be that people of meager means from time to time need to treat themselves to boost self esteem, just like their better off brothers drowned in oversized mortgages and driving expensive cars and then wondering why they can't afford to retire early. As for that taxi idea it was entirely mine and had nothing to do with the above . It was motivated by the lust, I wanted to squeeze an appointed massage at Senso before appointed dinner at Madrid Pizza which was supposed to be finish in time because I was expecting boy named Boy in my BBB Inn room at 22.00 sharp to finish fruitful day of sightseeing rural outskirts of Bangkok all reported in my December 2015 trip report including presentation of once famous yellow "Bike for Dad' shirt. That day was memorable for me for another reason as well - I was late 10-15 minutes for that dinner but Boy arrived with Swiss precision at 10 p.m. , feast many would not expect Thai Boy being capable of
  19. I wonder how show would look like from bigger distance since that building is visible from far and wide even in BKK foggy air. I was impressed by the view of it from Bearing BTS platform , I'm kidding you not. There should be place in Lumpini close to northern fence where view will be relatively unobstructed and close enough . Paulsf , have a nice trip back to BKK.
  20. but this somewhat reflect situation in Western countries where if you work for such a small company often you don't have the same protection your friends working for bigger one have. Only stronger legal system is your rescue. Speaking from first hand experience hence my advice for young people '' if you ever work for small company. make sure you own it"

In boys defense , -where there's no money parents will not have a chance to teach kids proper money management skills. Whatever cash comes their way is immediately used to patch some hole. It's why those boys living on their own from very young and stupid age have no idea how to go about expenses smartly. To this day I take taxis very rarely , even in Bkk where they are extremely good value because from childhood I heard from my parents that taking taxi is wasting money / where I grew up taxis were expensive but public transport was extremely cheap /
