  1. In addition to the M Bar, please add: The Best Bar - on their sexy show nights - you will see hard erect cocks, Gus Bar - directly across from The Best Bar - the guys will get playful behind a discreet pillow.
  2. Yes, the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown) is picking up the slack of "skin on display" that Boyztown has decided to let go and decrease its once super star status. What a pity.... times are a changing.....
  3. In this version of Bangkok, I agree with what you wrote. But, since the city is sinking into the underneath clay earth, aren't they talking about moving Bangkok to avoid the eventual flooding that will ensue from the continuous sinking? In closing, I hope that they never manage to transform Bangkok to be like Singapore - as it would lose the reasons fir which we come to Bangkok and not Singapore.
  4. I believe for 15+ years
  5. @Olddaddy perhaps talk to Guido from Bangkok G's restaurant. Rumors are rumbling that he may relocate to somewhere in the Pattaya area. This makes me remember when I was a child and we would go to the diners that had a jukebox at each seat. That was fun. @Olddaddy, what would be on offer in your iPads?
  6. Well, when I moved here as a new retiree in September 2022, I rented an AirBnB in one of the Dongtan beach View Talays (VT), as I wanted to test drive if I would like VT life as a retiree. It also gave me time to meet with various realtors in the same building complex to eventually find the VT condo that I am currently renting. This experience was enlightening, because the AirBnB owner properly reported me to the Immigration Authority when his short term AirBnB condo busines filed a TM.30 on my behalf. When I signed my 2 year condo contract (good way to help mitigate the impact of rental inflation), the realty company for that contract filed a NEW TM.30, which encountered complications with the Immigration Authority as to how the physical address of this VT is defined in their database. Each of the original TM.30 filers claimed that the other party did it wrong. I later discovered that these 2 parties had rivalry from the days when this VT complex was built, back in 2007. It was like a pissing match. I let them fight it out to the pleasure of the Immigration Authority, as to which format of this VT complex is "correct". Thank God I got this sorted out BEFORE I had to show my face at Immigration to aquire my first non O retirement visa - as a "correct" address is required.
  7. I am very sorry to hear this news. RIP. I truly enjoyed Denis Houard's MC voice - as it was very iconic on how he would improvise his background voice during the sexy shows - encouraging the guys to perform even better and to make the X-Boys show feel more exciting and erotic. Above was taken from the X-Boys FB page at: https://www.facebook.com/xboyspattaya/ X-Boys has been operating in Pattaya for 15 years now as they celebrated their 15th anniversary on Saturday 21 December 2024.
  8. After my 62 days in the Philippines - mainly in the Cebu metropolitan area - my AirBnB experience was very different (than what is being discussed in this thread) in ALL of the 5 different AirBnB condos that I rented during my stay. In each of the 4 distinct condo buildings - from mid-range to luxurious - there was: no need to hide that I was staying in an AirBnB, the security team of each building was working with the AirBnB condo owner to facilitate BOTH the security clearance and check-in to the physical condo unit, when the owner of said AirBnB condo was (rarely) unavailable I was told to discuss my needs / queries directly with the front desk of each condo building. So, the Philippine AirBnB experience was not to be hidden or to encounter feelings of shame - but instead it was embraced as a positive desired experience. I understand, from reading various news reports from around the world, that there is a current movement against the "sharing economy" - mainly in the AirBnB and Booking.com segments - as opposed to the ride-sharing and food delivery segments (Uber, Grab, Bolt, etc.) due to increasing housing prices for residents in said local economies. Why is the Philippines the exception ?
  9. Many moons ago when I visited Warsaw - I found some "willing students" in the typical app places - PlanetRomeo, Hunqz, and on Grindr. They were moonlighting their services, in my case massage in the apps, and I negotiated with them a rate, time, and place to make it happen. As I was living in Budapest at that time, whenever I had to travel to the USA, I liked to use the LOT flight because it flew from Warsaw, Budapest, and then JFK in New York. So, on the return flight from JFK, I would do a layover of like 4 days in Warsaw before completing my return flight to Budapest.
  10. I can't speak for BKK and the AirBnB situation. However, I can speak about Vietnam - where the Vietnam government is also cracking down on AirBnB rentals that are less than 30 days. Consequently, I rented an AirBnB condo in Da Nang for 40 days to avoid any issues. From various YouTube videos that I have seen on how enforcement is made - it seems to NOT be via the AirBnB service but instead via: Juristic office of said condo building where they take note of the coming and goings of guests and check via their security team if you truly have a contract for more than > 30 days, Snitching - there were cases were condo neighbors who did not like the coming and goings of AirBnB guests reported this to the authorities, security team, and Juristic office. https://e.vnexpress.net/news/business/property/hcmc-bans-airbnb-like-short-term-lease-of-residential-apartments-4856470.html However, I am not sure if the same reporting for illegal activities mechanisms would be the same in BKK.
  11. @reader Thanks for sharing this with us. I just now installed this TPB app. Hopefully, I will never need to use it but it is nice to know that it is there....
  12. I feel strongly that Buddhism can greatly impact a non-Buddhist's relationship with said Buddhist person. For me, after 2 intense relationships with 2 different Thai guys - their attitude towards "risk mitigation" is the area in which I have the greatest difficulty. They tend to live for the day and moment and planning and safety measures are not given great importance. I personally experienced this in the areas of: money and finance - no planning just live day by day, safety - riding motorbikes without helmets and when drunk. When I would stress about the above 2 issues - they would almost always reply to me, "Buddha will provide...." or "Buddha will protect me...." But when Buddha did not provide or protect them - guess what - sugar daddy (me) was expected to do what Buddha did not...... This way of life is very frustrating to me. Anyone else have ways on how to deal with these Buddhist traits ?
  13. Quick update on The Best Bar special Songkran show. Yesterday, Saturday 12 April 2025, on the eve of the official Songkran Festival Day, The Best Bar prepared a special Songkran show. It was pretty full - as a group of about 15 to 18 Chinese tourists were convinced to stop walking about by the lead ladyboy and to sit down and drink and see the show. That lead ladyboy is The Best Bar's lead marketer. My Thai boyfriend explained to me the authenticity of the costumes as being from the Thai Cambodia border region of the type = Siam Apsara - which I had never seen before. Kudos to The Best Bar for this entertaining cultural exchange. ok, ok, ok, I know that most of you horn dogs don't care about the cultural aspects - so let us cut to the erection of our beloved Max - who had to perform all alone, as his sexy dancing accomplice, May Day, did not appear last night. 1744524899440.mp4 So, after midnight, as we transitioned into the next day = Sunday 13 April 2025 - all hell broke out as 2 obnoxious farangs with water guns started to spray the performers on the stage and also us in the audience. Our table of 5 was caught off guard by this surprise, and I got a direct hit into my left weak eye - I am still feeling the effects this morning, of that burning sensation. Luckily, I have some eye medicine that I can treat it with. I was surprised by the reaction of one of my Thai boyfriend's friends - as he calmly emptied out the cold water from our whiskey ice bucked into a glass and then walked over to the 2 obnoxious farangs and dumped ICE COLD water onto the 2 of them - I was ecstatic and so happy that those 2 bitches received their rightful revenge. Then one of the performers who had had enough (as they were sending direct hits of water into her vaginal area and onto her face and eyes as she was trying to bring the show to its conclusion) - and disappeared back stage - but the DJ kept the show performance music going (as to create the illusion that the show was continuing...) and she reappeared with one of those MONSTER super soaker water guns, and hosed down those 2 farang bastards - it was GREAT!!! because they were totally caught off-guard - as none of us expected this type of response. random photo taken from internet to display the super soaker water gun It is one thing to shoot people with water out on the street but in my humble opinion you should NOT do that inside a show venue while a show is going on...... We ask for our check bin and on the way out, we were gently face painted - as per the Songkran tradition and then I asked my boyfriend to accompany me by escaping via the Agate hotel tunnel/passageway out onto the Dongtan beach road entrance to my condo - as the other way in the Supertown complex - versus the Poseidon principal entrance/exit was already in full mayhem, and I was not appropriately dressed to deal with it. So, it was a great night out and I am still soo soo soo happy that those 2 farang assholes got their justly revenge from the Thai community.....
  14. How astute you are..... And this is SO true...... If you ever have the privilege to see your boy du jour living quarters - it may tell you a lot about them.....
  15. NO - but they can buy you time in case you have an unfortunate event (police control, emergency health assistance, identify who you are and you are when unconscious), etcetera. Yes - one side is the ID page of my passport and the flip side is the current visa page - so each year my retirement visa is extended -- I go back to the lamination shop here in Pattaya and they issue me new facsimiles of my ID cards. Back in December when I performed this annual exercise I also asked them to laminate my global health insurance card. What I like about all of this, is that when I am swimming over on Koh Larn - these laminated cards are inserted inside a ziplock bag (with some money) and reside inside my swimming trunk pocket. Every once and a while, there are tragic events and someone is either killed and/or seriously maimed, and they cannot identify who they are and the hospital does not know how to bill them - hence impacting the level of life saving service that might be implemented. So, the purpose of these laminated cards is to mitigate some of the potential negative impacts that could happen to us in our lives...
  16. I only carry with me laminated copies of my Thai driving license and home country passport. Originals are always locked away in the safety lockbox.
  17. I would say that this is a reflection of the aging of our forum membership? In my young physically fit days, I used to occassionally attend White Parties and GCircuit events.
  18. Here in Thailand I have the DLT (Department of Land Transport) app which stores my 2 Thai driving licenses (motorbike and car). The visa agent that I use here in Pattaya insisted that I get this app and she was right - because on one of my many trips to nearby Koh Larn island, I inadvertently lost my physical Thai motorbike driving license, and afterwards for some months (until the next renewal cycle), I was able to use the DLT app to display my driving license to the local police as having a valid driving license. The app is free and can be safely downloaded and installed from either Google Play or the Apple App Store.
  19. probably not - as most likely it will be stored up in "the cloud" in an AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba, or Oracle server. Then you can pay a hacker to retrieve your information - OR - the hacker via AI will already find you and ask you to pay a ransom to get your data back.....
  20. Was @vinapu back in BKK ?
  21. Yes, but I almost abandoned Italy in the 8th month - as I was living in the Rome Trastevere neighborhood, with all of the foreign students, where all we did was speak English 24/7 and we did not integrate into the larger Italian society. So, around this time I put an advertisement in some of the local gay publications, that I was looking for an Italian roommate who did not speak much English (as I wanted to force myself to integrate and to learn Italian). I interviewed around 30 Italian guys and only 1 satisfied my requirements. Why? The other 29 were looking to find freedom from living at home with their mothers - BUT - where the expectation was that I would fulfill the roll of their mother - that is; do their laundry, cook for them, do the shopping, and clean the apartment - as they were ALL what the Italians call: Mammoni. Many of them were well into their 40s and their mother's were still taking care of them. The 30th guy, was great - as he was against the concept of "Mammoni", as he was from Sardinia (where his mother was) and wanted to live independently and have a chance to learn some English. I met him in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings to see if we liked each other in all hours of the day. Then the BIG day came to decide if we would be roommates and he took me to Villa Pamphili, where he did his sport training and jogging. He sat me down on one of the lovely park benches and told me that his decision was = NO. I was shocked - we had been hanging out for about 2 weeks to decide if we could be roommates and he was perfect for me. After interviewing 30 guys over this 2 month period I was devastated and I started crying. He said to me, ti prego, smettila! - please stop it. I asked him why he rejected me. He said that I was too American. Now this was early year 2000 and I had sold my house back in Colorado and invested it all into the crazy NASDAQ - Dot-Com bubble, so I was kind of cocky, as I could easily fart money in those years. I was obnoxious. And yes, I was too American. So, I promised him to be less American (that was my goal after all) and I had some help from the universe when the Dot-Com bubble popped in March 2000 - when I lost 90% of my invested assets - which greatly humbled me. Thank GOD that I had found this guy. We lived happily together for 6 years - which were some of the BEST years of my life when I successfully learned to speak Italian, make jokes in Italian, go to cinema and see Italian movies, and dream in Italian. Learning their language gave me additional culture - because I started to use verbs for which we don't have direct equivalents in English - and when you find a verb that helps give words to a feeling that we don't have an easy equivalent in English - it is truly an amazing experience, because it feels that you are now growing with the ability to have feelings that you could not fully have prior. --> I am not good at expressing this experience - but I am sure that many of you who are multi-lingual can understand this <--
  22. and perhaps add to this list something about the hiring / recruitment policy. The guys in Fresh Boys are notably much more masculine than the guys over in Hotmale. Living here in Jomtien with the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown) as our main venue for getting guys - which tend to be skinny young twinks as the main course. So, when I go to Bangkok - I am hungry for more manly guys with some meat on their bones - and Fresh Boys DEFINITELY satisfied my appetite with their wide and very numerous selection.
  23. I was traveling with 2 American friends who came to visit me in Rome. We decided to take the train from Rome to Taormina. When the train gets to where the Italian mainland almost touches Sicily, at Villa San Giovanni in Reggio Calabria, at this juncture, they physically put the train cars on a ship that will cross the Straits of Messina. My friends decided to go up on deck and I remained below in the belly of the ship in the train car - as I understood that an Italian guy wanted to have some fun. And after our train car emptied out (and all of the passengers went up on deck of the ship) him and I had some great cock sucking and kissing fun on an empty train car that was floating in a ship that was crossing the Straits of Messina. It was a very unique and exciting sexual experience. 🍆💦
  24. and this is why I left the USA back in 1999 - when I moved to Italy. A dear friend was killed at gunpoint to his head when he would not give up his wallet in Denver. After the funeral - many of our friends in common - told me that they were going to get their gun licenses as a result of that incident. I replied - NO - I am leaving this country.....
  25. My boyfriend told me that if you go into the heterosexual girl bar area of Pattaya City - at soi 6 and soi 7 - he showed me videos last night where they were already starting with the water splashing and water fights.... @floridarob would you mind if tonight we can stop by the Cocka2 bar for a moment ? I would like to buy a couple of these penis water pistols..... They look like a lot of fun....and only cost 200 baht each....
