  1. I am confused. Your AirBnB in Bangkok was in the BKK gay ghetto = Silom. All of the guy attention that you got in BKK came within radius of your Grindr free (or subscription) plan - as displayed to you on your Grindr screen. All of those blessings were because you were in Silom and not in Lak Si or some other far away part of the BKK metropolis. Consequently, by being in Lamai many of the potential guys that might interest you probably won't appear on your Grindr display because you are too far from where their profiles are located??
  2. PLU = People Like Us - as in part of the LGBTQ+ community I asked Grok what is there for PLUs in Lamai Beach. It basically says that Lamai is the honeymoon place of Koh Samui - but your 2 Grindr candidates are back in BKK. Here is what Grok replied:
  3. Outch - this tidbit of information tells me that your AirBnB choice is far from the fun Chaweng Beach area where the Pride Bar is and also many PLUs. Any reason as to why you chose an AirBnB so far away? In Bangkok you chose an AirBnB right smack in the middle of the gay zone (Silom). If I were in your shoes - I would rent a motorbike so that you can get the most from your stay in Koh Samui. I have been several times - but you will need a way to move yourself around to see everything either by hiring a tour guide or renting a motorbike to see everything.
  4. When you say Pattaya - does that also include Jomtien? if yes, there are many m2m massage shops in the Jomtien Complex, aka Supertown that are physically within the complex and also out on the exterior road (Thappraya) that circumvents the complex on the outer perimeter. Sudjai is the newest addition to the complex: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61591910247066 Regarding the areas near Tukcom and Boyztown I am not aware of any new m2m shops. Supertown MAP Those entities displayed in green on the above map are the massage shops.
  5. And the Winner is: HEALS won the Best Documentary Feature at the 2026 Pattaya International Film Festival (PTYIFF). As I could not attend the awards ceremony that was held at the Colosseum on 28 August 2026 - the results have finally been released in social media at: https://www.facebook.com/reel/2067369040651191 I am very pleased with this outcome.
  6. The very useful Unread Content clickable button still exists - it is just positioned differently depending on how you are viewing the GayGuides forum. If you are viewing GayGuides from a PC in a browser it now appears in the upper right corner. If you are viewing GayGuides from your mobile phone it now appears in the lower left corner. For those who do not know - the Unread Content button/link displays all of the newest posting across all of the global forums - where you can quickly and easily catch up on your favorite topics and/or forum posters.
  7. emoji test 🫠☺️🤫🤑 This concludes the emoji test so, you are correct - it now works -- I can now post multiple emojis and the emoji selection box remains full of emojis from which I can choose. Prior to this emoji test - the emoji selection box was NULL.
  8. Thanks @TotallyOz - that would be GREATLY appreciated. When trying to insert emojis into new posts it only allows you to insert 1 - and then the picklist empties out. The ability to center pictures in a new post is now more difficult to find - it lives in a sub menu underneath the three ... dots sub-selection. When I tried to paste a picture into a new post - the loading attachment display initiated but then nothing happened.
  9. Well - they had a VIP section setup for you last night @Olddaddy and it sadly remained vacant ☹️ https://www.facebook.com/reel/1117820497333137 It was a full house at M2M last night in honor of Lonnie's 68th birthday. They did it properly - at 23:57 they stopped the cabaret show and commenced the 3 minute extended happy birthday dance and candle blowing ceremony so that when Lonnie blew out his candles it was truly already his 68th birthday. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1638384114666518 Afterwards, we were all invited over to My Favorite Diner (MFD) for a birthday fire show. Of the fire dancers - the one shown above was our 😜favorite. Free snack food (corn dogs and juicy big chicken wings) were supplied - we just had to buy our drinks. I invited my Sunee Bar dance team to join me to enjoy the festivities. Before you all ask, I do not know if he is offable and in my 4 years of living here I have never seen this sexy fire team before. If you ask Lonnie - he can probably spill the beans about the fire dance team.
  10. Yes I can live alone and I am currently content. But, with dementia running rampant in my family - I fear that living alone will not be a good idea IF dementia decides to pay me a visit. So, I probably need to give up my independence just in case? This is my current dilemma. or, would our @olddaddy call this "being needy"?

  13. Let us send a little love their way. Thanks to you I was able to see Supertown with new eyes. I have walked by this coffee shop and bakery probably 100s of times in my 4 years here and I NEVER noticed it. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19FGM5VGBo/ It is even listed on the official Supertown map. It is located between Soda Massage and the Bong's Jomtien shop - and is directly across the street from the french bakery O'Delice. https://www.instagram.com/just_specialty_coffee_pattaya And thanks for teaching me about the G'Nite gummies that can be found at the ubiquitous 7-Eleven shops.
  14. wow, exciting - your 2nd forum board member. I am glad that I was your first. Enjoy BKK tonight.
  15. @aaroninatl, I did some research today and I see that the Koh Samui gay scene has kind of shrunk from when I had my big trip there more than 10 years ago. That cul-de-sac street that I spoke about where there were around 3 bars clustered together - it appears that now there is only 1 bar remaining. It is: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1EeDDfFBjw/ https://www.instagram.com/pridebarsamui/ The Pride Bar Samui provides some additional information about the local gay scene on their "our friends" page at: https://www.pridebarsamui.com/our-friends/ Hopefully, you will be able to give us a much needed update about this part of Thailand. I was in Koh Samui 2 years ago, but we were passing through on our way back from Koh Tao, which I reported on here: https://www.gayguides.com/topic/57250-trip-report-koh-tao-the-mysterious-death-island/#findComment-400349
  16. It was great to meet you and what an amazing coincidence that your AirBnB was in the same building as mine. Of the forum guys that I have given the local tour to - you are the first to stay in VT5. Most forum members that I have met stay in one of the Supertown hotels; The Venue, Agate, Zing - or in an AirBnB in the nearby VT towers, where View Talay 7 seems to be the most popular. Our whirlwind tour went as follows: VT5 and you showed me yours and then I showed you mine, Tinnies for a late afternoon lunch, Walk through Supertown, Bahtbus (songthaew) over to Pattaya City - you rang your first bell, Walking Street tour - we were hunting for USA Navy guys, Walk through Boyztown - it was still rather early - so not much happening, Walk over to Beach Road where we finally saw small groups of USA military guys wearing those SLG navy blue polo shirts, Photo ops of the famous Pattaya City signage (like in Hollywood), Continued the Boyztown perimeter tour; X-Boys Pattaya and Paradise Spa, After agreeing that it was still early for Boyztown we took the bahtbus back to Supertown in the Jomtien Complex where the Sunee dance troupe show was already in progress, Some of the Sunee performers convinced us to visit our first "pillow bar" for the night, Gus Bar (formerly The Great Bar). After a few minutes behind the curtain, things became roguish and lusty where you quickly understood why the pillows can be strategically important. Then we did another walk through the entire Jomtien Complex where we ended up at the second "pillow bar", M Bar. We did another walk through Supertown where we ended up at the Candy Bar, where the Booty Call cabaret show was already in progress. We then discussed if we wanted to return back to Boyztown so I could have the privilege to see the look on your face when they place the naked couple on your lap where they will only leave if you put 100 baht in the bottom's mouth at X-Boys Pattaya. But, as you had been up since 6am with no naps or rest - we called it a night and agreed that I can give you an X-Boys Pattaya tour when you return. Unfortunately I did not get to see that stunning guy because you freaked me out when you started faking a heart attack in an orgasmic way - a thousand thoughts came racing through my mind - Oh my God, here I am on Pattaya's Walking Street with someone from our forum who I hardly know who is having what appeared to be a "medical emergency" - it completely startled me and by the time that you stopped orgasiming and my panic subsided - I had already missed the opportunity to see that hot guy. The way you did that scene on Walking Street reminded me of Woody Allen's famous scene when he decided to hide in the Orgasmatron in the 1973 film Sleeper. Thanks for the compliment - it was a true joy for me to watch your face as you experienced the "erotic delights" of Pattaya and what she has to offer.
  17. Some footage of USA military trying to get through Pattaya's Walking Street. What is so ironic is that this video captures them directly in front of the Legacy Big Tool venue. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1LvZtuP9pQ/
  18. Well the guys are definitely ready to "service" the incuming military. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1MqZvZBE9e/
  19. I will send you a DM
  20. Get off the bus at the last stop. The first stop is North Pattaya on Sukhumvit road, the second stop is Central Pattaya on Sukhumvit, and the last stop is at the Jomtien terminal as shown on the below map. The walk (southbound) on Thappraya Road from the bus terminal to your AirBnB is about 10 to 15 minutes. Be careful when crossing the busy Thappraya Road (it is low season so the traffic is not so bad but crazy motorbike riders can catch up on you very quickly especially if you are tugging luggage).
  21. wow - looks like your AirBnB is in the View Talay 7 (VT7) condo building directly on the Dongtan beach. VT7 is a popular choice for other forum members who in the past I have meet up with to give them the grand tour. We will be neighbors. Supertown in the Jomtien Complex is a 5 minute walk from VT7. Several twink bars can be found in Supertown.
  22. https://airportpattayabus.com/airport-jomtien/ Cost is 151 baht from the Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport. Bus departs from Level 1 near Gate 8 Trip takes from 90 to 120 minutes depending on traffic. Did you book your room in Supertown in the Jomtien Complex? https://www.facebook.com/groups/supertowngay
  23. wow, perhaps we had the same boss? Mine was an ERISA attorney (barrister - solicitor - as there has recently been a BIG debate on the use of this terminology UK vs. USA). She always told me the same thing - but with the added twist - whatever you communicate make it very clear and understood so that if it needs to be used in a court of law there would be no doubt on what you or our company intended....
  24. but how will you know a priori that you chose the right place to live and retire in if you exclude certain places?
  25. I noticed on your itinerary that you did not include Pattaya (Jomtien) which is twink heaven. Any reason as to why no visit to Pattaya? 4 different twink bars in the below facebook pages: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1bqGPt9bTb/ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1D3mRGdsqY/ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DbCD3tgmW/ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1KCE9V2mrh/
