this time, I’m with a companion who prefers hunks and 6 pacs but I don’t think muscles or beefy guys. 
 
since I prefer twinks, which gogo bar would have the best chance of giving us both eye candies? Young and 6pac-ish.

So I was in the area earlier than planned (8+) and had lots of time to kill... 
While walking around and the movie crew was still in the area filming 

Some doubt started to creep into me while check out the spot.. Is "Fresh Boy" the same as "Fresh Boys"? I don't want to go to a wrong show.... so maybe i should skip "Fresh Boy"? 
Eventually, after walking around the entire area, it was CARPE DIEM and made my way up 
I was early... The show was to start at 10 and I was there with 80 mins to kill.... 
Sat down, got a coke or something, and was pleasantly surprised by the boys on stage... I started making notes on my phone.... The rotation went on for a while but it was interesting to witness what they were doing off stage.. as well as on stage.... 
 
Most were young and fit... some where older and as somebody pointed out, they are in FB presumably for the show component.... 
 
Some tried to make eye contact but what I really didnt like was the mamasan getting touchy with the boys on stage... like she's taxing them.. of cos shes doing it as marketing but one would imagine she's also asking for more from the boys off stage/behind the scene.... as a customer, she was fine.. she did a courtesy ask the whole night and didnt approach otherwise.... when i wanted somebody to sit with me, i signalled the other mamasan and he was did his job
drinks 400 thb.. i think it was mentioned that second drink costs less... so i had the (wrong) impression that boy's drinks are not 400.. but they are 
so after a while of studying the system, the boys, the crowd, it was time for the show 
 
and tbh, the show quickly got monotonous even for a first timer.... the d*ck hitting pole was 100% unnecessary
so the room was fairly crowded... the front row was full.... the area on the right (when facing the stage) was starting to fill up 
so big shot had asked 5-6 boys to sit with him and he off-ed all of them.... the only reason why i took notice was that the mms was at the cashier trying to sort out all the charges and that took a while ....

I was at Freshboys Bangkok on Friday night and at Xboys Pattaya on Sunday night. In terms of show, Xboys Pattaya is better. In terms of guys available for offs, Freshboys Bangkok has many more guys.

when it happens to me in any bar I make sure to scoop all those coins and if I want to tip them i leave note in the folder. 
That way hope is they wont be able to play the same trick on somebody else due to eventual shortage of coins. all those coins , while heavy are easily spendable at 7/11 on the way to hotel

I was in X-Size for less than 5 minutes as it was my meeting point with the legendary numazu way back in 2017 and because I was late, we had to rush off and I was in and out in a jiffy. This round, I would have more time.

Problem with shows is that most of them are starting roughly at the same time , between 10 and 11.
Goodboys ( right under Freshboys) may have second show at midnight. Show in Banana is practically non-stop .
Atlas has big boys but also most progressive show of them all and you will see plenty of flesh and  boys are clingy, perhaps too clingy for novice but take "no" very well.
For 347th time in the forum I repeat ' go and see for yourself" 
I not necessarily agree with foolish that Moonlight show is boring, it certainly may  not be for somebody who did not see it before.
Since your guts are telling you to start with Freshboys,  go there first. Don't be scared  of mamasan there, if she is pushing tell her what I always do everywhere ' I like the girls", you may  even be believed as not known to them.

Most customers tip 100 to 200 baht for guy to sit with them to watch show and drink together. Some generous customers tip 500 baht.
Good to tell your guy in advance if you are not offing him and just want company to watch show.

You can invite guys down to sit with you and keep you company while you watch the show. Some of the guys have excellent English!

My personal opinion in order of my favourite from my last visit in bkk in nov (before Atlas opened)
1) freshboys is the most daring of the shows I seen in silom. You can see sucking and the boys will go among the audience during the big cock show. Plenty of cute boys on stage too. Show start at 10pm. The mama can get a bit pushy but generally will leave you alone after a while. 
2)  Jupiter's show is quite tame in comparison but the quality of the boys can't be beaten and their show is still entertaining to me. I think some members feel that the boys are not friendly but generally i feel that this is only when they are on the stage. From personal experience, when you call them to sit with you, they are usually quite charming.
3) Dreamboy has a wide selection of boys for you to choose to suit all tastes. The show is average and on my last visit the boys did not go among the audience during the big cock show.
4) hot male's show can get super cringy but they have a number of cute boys and this is the only show without any drag performance. My main complaint here is the boys wear too much during the big cock show...
5) Goodboy has too many drag queen in their show but it's still entertaining if you like it. There is a big cock show too but freshboy is better.
6) moonlight show is boring. If you are interested only to watch a show, you might want to give this a miss.

Yes strongly recommend Freshboys.
Good Boys, while smaller and more intimate, has too many ladyboy singing.

I was in Yangon a couple of months ago. Basically just stayed in Yangon and didn't venture out. 
 
Should just pick up a data sim card at the airpot. Supposedly MPT has the best coverage. Oredoo and Telenor are the other two.
 
For wifi, I could just pop into Sule Shangrila or The Strand, buy a cup of coffee for 4USD and get 1 hour of wifi. They are that strict/stingy with wifi!!
