I ask ages and do have a preference for age....I can find guys in the 30s and 40s here in the states...But hot is hot... My comment was the age of the 2 guys in the photos who are clearly not in their 20s....Never said they werent attractive, just not what I would hire....Not a big deal Again, 2 each his own....in the states or around the world.... I had such a great trip in March, Im heading back to Bangkok but definitely need some suggestions on what to do and where to go... Here is what I have on the list of MUST DO so far... Khoasan Rd on Friday and Saturday night...maybe Sunday night... I will definitely go to Tawan Saturday since I missed it last trip 6-7 massages...Maybe more... This time I want to go to a few malls...which ones do you recommend and why? I would love to go to an actual restaurant in BKK, I did go to a few while on a food tour on my last trip but Im open to suggestions... Is Asiatique on the Riverfront worth a trip? I plan to see a Calyso ladyboy show this trip.. Anywhere to see and ride an elephant in Bangkok? Are the water markers worth a trip? I did visit the leaning Buddha and the Grand Palace already. I went to a really nice sauna but definitely stood out and only found one hot type to shag with while I was there... I found that MANY Thais speak some English....especially those that work in the service industries... More Thais than Brazilians speak English....even bad English from my experiences...

Technology has also made communication easier so that you can at least attempt to use some of the local language to communicate with guys you are interested in... Great feedback so far...

I, like most of the people in the forum, travel often to Brazil and other parts of Latin America and the rest of the world... I learned some Portuguese and Spanish for myself...for me it is good to at least understand what is going on around me and to be able to ask basic questions... Its also important for me to be able to read signs and understand as much as possible... I have met people who speak English everywhere that I have traveled but find that I really get to experience the culture and the people through people who sometimes don't speak English... How important is it for you to learn the local language to wherever you are visiting?

I have had a few guys from the saunas spend the night but actually prefer the locals who dont work in the saunas... If you speak some Portuguese then you can do more than just have sex...you may be able to actually talk and vibe... Dinner and drinks....sometimes clubs or bars happen... I guess it depends on who you are and how comfortable they are hanging out with you...

Most of the hotels will allow guest and just charge you more for them unless the guest "looks" like he is staying at the hotel...ie, not local Brazilian or a wealthy Brazilian... Why not check the website for the hotel?

Are you stating he quoted you 120R for overnight? That would not make sense for going outside of the sauna and spending time with you unless it was extremely slow or the guy was extremely hard up for money...for an overnight

Im comfortable on buses and the trains and only take uber to the airport or if there is somewhere I dont know how to get to via the train... Buses in Rio are amazing and can get you most everywhere...

Something doesn't add up... The guys never seem aggressive and most of the time are not engaging customers in public...even for money.... The most that most would get, outside of maybe you, is a head nod or a hello....

This sounds made up....But if it did indeed happen, you were an easy mark and should be more careful....Never give guys money outside of saunas to even start the pressure of wanting more money In all my years of traveling to Rio....I have never had any issues like this..not saying it couldn't happen but given the way you told the story, it sounds made up... The amount of money that you were being hassled for was very small... If this did happen, its a good thing that you got out of there without any serious harm...

Ill be back in Bangkok for July 4th weekend...the long weekend and again in November with flights already confirmed... Lets meet then for a drink somewhere...

Loveddddd BKK... Stayed in Silom...really liked the apartment type hotel... Surprised at how inexpensive BKK really is...prices for food...drinks...massages...just abt everything was incredible... Went to sauna in Silom...Huge...very modern...in a gate alley type neighborhood...didnt find too much of my type but got one good nut from a hot athletic Thai....he is about 23 yrs old... Went on a foos tour as well as Grand Palace and leaning Buddha... Fell in love with Khaoson Rd until I went to Chatuchak market...two visits in two days... Met one guy from app...he was visiting as well... got approached on the treat near Patpong market but a Thai guy who told me he would suck me...I would fuck him...He would be a good boy...turned him down... I missed the clubs...really wanted to go to Tawan but went too late...forgot abt DJ Station...will def try to go next visit 7 massages in 4 days...No happy endings... I get why so many people visit and love BKK Absolutely love the country and city...planning to go back a few more times this year

Again...what are they getting out of it? If they aren't getting money...surely they are getting something... Even in typical May/December relationships there is a reciprocation... College tuition...a father figure...some type of security...maybe a fetish...hell it could just be the idea of being in the company of an older gentleman...I myself liked "older" men in my youth for various reasons but I have a motive...
