Yes I agree I prefer 'gay' hotelsI feel at home and avoiding uncomfortable stares from straight guests at non gay hotels . Neve had amy issue at any hotel in Thailand thogh.

Pollution, traffic, crowds in the streets. In general I don't like mega cities I tend to feel stressed and lost.

For me it was the opposite on my first visit I was so horrified from Bangkok I escaped to Pattaya the next day and I loved this city immediately.

The distance between the areas is about 20 minutes by baht buss I don't see any advantage in spending double costs for accommodation.

Yes it's just you , if your main purpose is hunting for boys maybe you're right but some of us wants good entertainment nightlife , lively Ambiance and dominant gay entertainment zones , Sadly nowadays it's a shadow to what it used to be.
