Did see this in a Facebook group, but it didn't get reactions yet whether or not there is a new gay sauna in Jomtien... Maybe somebody on this forum has more information? Or it's simply not true...

Off course there are many massage shops in Bangkok, and many threads on this forum are about them with so much reviews, pics taken from line from their staff, etc. BUT: because of the high amount of posts about it, it is a bit hard to get track of it. That's why I have this question: I like my boys not to be too thin. I like a bit of muscles on the body, maybe even a 6pack. Also, I like to inspect goods before buying. I would never buy a couch online without having tried how it sits in a store. So I would be looking for massage place old style: where they have staff on site and maybe even do a line-up for you to choose your boy. A manager who can listen to what you are looking for and do good recommendations about which boy to book, instead of a mamasan who claims "all boys do everything". I do not trust picking your guy from pictures en pre-book him, as many have said photoshop is often used or they post old pictures. How embarrassing would it be when arriving at massage shop and your pre-booked guy does not live up to your expectations based on his pictures? Did this ever happend to you and how did you deal with this? About the massage place: I like it to be clean, not too old. Good (and again: clean) shower in the room. Maybe even a bath for some pre- or after-massage wet fun with the boy? Yeah; I might be looking for a bit of a luxurious place instead of a shabby massage room on the 6th floor of and old building. Also preferable in of near silom area, not having to take BTS or MTR to completely other side of Bangkok. Am I asking too much? Because all of my doubts and wishes in all the years visiting Bangkok I rarely went to massage place but always took my guys from the host bars. But, maybe there is a hidden massage gem in Bangkok that would suit all me wishes, or at least some of them? LOL

Can't wait to check out Atlas on my November trip. And probably will also have a look at the new Tawan, just to know how it is now. That's how I like it. I like to get some attention from the boys without them being pushy. It's also how I remember it from the (very) old Tawan during my first visits in 2012 / 2013. A nice muscleboy would approach you, start a little conversation. But when you would tell him not interested it would be fine and het would leave quietly. If you would have interest and buy him drink, the conversation would continue with the boy probably subtle telling you about what he could offer you. But never in a pushy way. Totally agree. I mentioned it before in one of my trip reports. The best experiences I had with moneyboys were with the boys that were slightly older and had more experience in the job. I found them to be more friendly, knowing what is expected from them in return of the money, showing initiative and making you have a good time. While the younger boys more often seem te be a bit lazy in bed, you have to take initiative as customer to get something going or ask him to do things and they think they can earn money by being boring instead of being a bit active and try to do their best to make you have a good time. Same kind of positive experience I had with the only guy I ever offed in Tawan. He was a bit olde than I would normally go for, a bit bulkier also (he had muscles but also a little belly...). But he really was doing good job in making sure I liked the time spent with him. He started a massage that quickly turned into "other things". But when that finished he continued the massage instead of the "it's over - give me my money - I'm gone"-mentality the younger guys sometime have. Is that the older guy that was always taking time to talk to the customers in the old Tawan, explaining about possibilities of the bar and boys but also doing some friendly smalltalk? He was really nice and friendly. But didn't see him anymore after Tawan became The One.

I see this new sauna right in Silom area being advertised on YouTube. Any thoughts about it? Somebody already visited? The sauna is run by a guy originally from China and there are a lot of Chinese tourists in Silom area. That's why they choose that name. Video looks good. Mordern, (still) clean and big (play) areas. Reviews from any forum members are more the welcomed.

I was looking to book The Rabbit Resort because some forum members recommended it and it looks very good. Located directly at the gay beach, walking distance from Jomtien complex and the resort set up is nice. The pictures really look like you're staying inside a tropical garden. But I found out the good old Agate is around 1/3rd from the price of Rabbit Resort, so I decided to stick to my old habit and book Agate again. If the price difference would have been smaller, I probably would have booked Rabbit to try something new this time. But I'm Dutch and we are known for being "cheap Charlies". LOL Agate's own website did not show any availability during November. But by sending an e-mail directly to the hotel I could still make a reservation. Same experience. They reply quick and are very clear in their answers.

In my opinion: Jomtien is twink heaven. All the bars have twinks. There's not much variety in boys-types there. As I prefer a more toned body, I like hunks more. So in Pattaya I normally get more lucky in and around Boyztown. But need to be said: when looking good, one can find a rare hunk in Jomtien also. By the way it took me some time when I started on this forum to understand what everybody meant when talking about twinks and hunks. Till I found this little but very accurate explanation: A “hunk” is an older slang word that describes a handsome, well-built man. A “twink” typically refers to an attractive, young, slender gay man.

So you teased us for days... and conclusion: Max was not working on any of the days you were in Pattaya... Unsatisfyingly in more than one way. LOL

Always nice to read about your adventures, even if this was not your best trip to Thailand. Because this was not your best trip, you might have to come back even before 2028 to make better memories! Planning a trip to Bangkok and Pattaya again in November. Stayed a few times in Agate hotel. Good quality rooms and bed, location can't be better and always got a good price directly via the hotel website. Also important: never a problem taking "a friend" to your room. They can even walk in on their own coming to your room without you having to get him from downstairs. But this time I might to choose to stay somewhere else. As I would like to have a bit more relaxing time at a pool. I know Agata has two pools, but somehow these pools don't really are inviting for me to spent some hours relaxing. Any idea about bringing boys back to your room here? Other hotel suggestions are welcome also.

I took me some time to understand the "not for fun" part. In my country it means you're not looking for sex, only for friends or chat. While the Thai boys actually mean "not for free" when they write "not for fun"...
