Women, Black faculty, queer scholars, basically anyone who challenged white supremacy, gun culture, or Christian nationalism suddenly found themselves targets of coordinated abuse,” Patton wrote. “Some received death threats. Some had their jobs threatened. Some left academia entirely. Kirk sent the loud message to us: speak the truth and we will unleash the mob!” she continued.
  “That is the culture of violence Charlie Kirk built. He normalized violence. He curated it, monetized it, and sicced it on anyone who dared to puncture his movement’s lies,” she wrote.
  “And now, in the wake of his shooting, there’s all this national outpouring of mourning, moments of silence, yellow prayer hands, and tributes painting him as a civil debater,” Patton continued. “But the truth is that Kirk and his foot soldiers spent years terrorizing educators, trying to silence us with harassment and fear!” “And now the same violence he unleashed on others has come full circle.”
  “But what i find especially jarring is the dissonance in public mourning for a smug white man whose life work was actively hostile to certain groups,” she continued. “Kirk spent years demonizing LGBTQ people, mocking gun survivors, spewing racism about Black folks, and pushing policies that literally shorten lives.”

Charlie Kirk did not deserve what happened to him, but nor did his victims deserve the hell that he unleashed on them.

If Americans are going to build a more peaceful future for ourselves we must condemn political violence while also condemning the hateful, bigoted rhetoric that made Kirk a multimillionaire.

I find this post total rubbish. How anyone can claim that the 2nd amendment is applicable in 2025 and that guns manufactured for the battlefield can be used on American streets in a country where there are more firearms than people is, in my view, ridiculous! Equally the freedom of speech amendment is total nonsense UNLESS it is accompanied by a whole host of caveats. Charlie Kirk believed in anarchy. Full stop!

I dont think we are being hard, but simply Realistic, as we have experienced the fierce fights for equal rights in our society.  Much of main stream America still doesnt feel we are "equal" or worthy of basic human rights, and there are still very organized fights against our community.    Goal for picking VP should be to remove any perceived obstacle a candidate has for a safer choice.   We dont have the luxury of time for tests or games.....

People like the Koch Brothers - or perhaps I should just say Koch since one recently died but both actually gave mega-bucks under at least two different entities, George Soros, the gambling king Sheldon Adelson who has made a gazillion from his casinos in Las Vegas and Macao, Michael Bloomberg, and then the hedge funds run by largely unknown names like Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor, or by crooks like Sam Bankman-Fried.
Did I mention lobbyists? On top of that lot there are the Super PACS which continue their fund-raising ways thanks to court rulings in 2010. Eliminate them? The largest political fund raising machines ever thought of? That has to be a joke. Freedom rules. Freedom to donate. Freedom to influence policy. After all, who came up with the list of potential justices for Trump? The right-wing Federalist Society and the similar Heritage Foundation, allied to the right-wing evangelical movement. Funny, though, how many of those evangelical pastors live in luxury (Kenneth Copeland is estimated to be worth US$760 million and all seem to own private jets), yet more than a few seem to have a habit of disobeying God's laws and then either crying for forgiveness on their mega-rich television enterprises (Jimmy Swaggart etc.) or end up in jail (Jim Bakker etc.) or in bed with another man (Ted Haggard). The list of 'abominations' - oops transgressions - is actually in the many dozens! Funny, too, how these "churches" ,"ministries" "cash cows", call them what you will, make tens of millions of fat profits annually yet are not subject to any taxes! Money rules!

I remember back in early 2000's getting my butt rimmed in the toilets at the Holiday go go in sunee.

If Trump is convicted of felonies my guess is that Joe Biden would likely pardon him.  Trump should spend time in jail but I think Biden will weigh the divisions in the country and conclude it’s not in the nations interest for a former President to be jailed.  Just my guess

Right after he left there was phone from airport that my luggage arrived and they plan to deliver it tonight to my hotel but I had better idea. Since I, m flying out tomorrow I, ll pick it up in the airport on my way. My laundry dried in meantime so I was set. 
Reader siganalzed he will be in Hotmale beer bar tonight so I rushed there around 8 to find him and paulsf as well. Paul showed me new waiter there, good looking guy indeed. I took note to get acquainted with him when stars align. Than after having drink with my friends I went to complete task nr. 2 of this trip, to go to Jupiter and check if Handsome Cambodian, long time my one-sided love is there but he was not. 
Music not as loud as before, AC also set at pleasant level. Boys, as always, shining handsome and unsmiling but one or two at least looked as trying to show interest, nice change. I don, t understand their format with boys hidding in corners  after their walkabout and time filled by listening to singer but I assume bar knows better. Watched show but before finished I left for my next destination tonight, Tawan.
As  always I was  greeted with smiles and enthusiasm due always when new shiny ATM arrives. Dum and Mas, resident twink invited themselves to my table so I treated them with drinks. K was already in the know he will be taken tonight to took my NO for drink question with understanding. 
I was hoping Tiger will be back but not yet, still another Lao guy Petch is back, he recognized me right away. For me he is remarkable specimen as all in, he is my second worst and the best off ever few years apart. When I advocate giving second chance I always have him in mind. If I did  not fix K for tonight he will be one to go with me probably. After about 1 HR K and I jumped on his motorbike, I noticed that being  new one and went to Happy Beer Garden for a meal and of course out of 1000 baht tab about 140 only  was mine dish. Those guys sometimes really are testing my patience, lol. 
But in the room I got my money, s worth and in the morning woke up happy. 
Went to UNESCO Foodland alone for breakfast, packed very little I had and went to airport. Collected my luggage without any issues being provided instructions where to go by phone yesterday only to learn  that my flight to Phnom Penh with ThaiVietAir was moved from 11 am to 17.30pm. Joy of flying with discounts I guess. So blood pressure up again and quick decision to check who  flies to PP next and for how much. Bangkok Airways it was, in 90 minutes. Quick trip to mezzanine to check price, 5500 baht, sold. Other ticket may be wasted but half day in Phnom Penh gained. If I left  at 17.30 I, d be there well after dark so no, I rather lose ticket.
 
Straight to check in and shortly I was in the air, after about 36 hours there ending my 23rd trip, shortest ever but not boy deprived, leaving Thailand forever (until next time of course)
