I'm flying out of San Diego (where I work) and going to my Utah home for Christmas with the family. Leaving Utah on the 28th for my other home in Portland. Then on New Years Eve I returning to San Diego for work. Not looking forward to the snow and cold in Utah. It was terrible last year and we had to snow blow twice on Christmas day just to get out of the driveway. The snow blow pile up was over 5 feet high.

Heard that his current wife and kids went back to Europe the day he was fired. And, he's not getting the rest of his contract money. His current income is GONE!!!

And his attorneys are trying to get him paid $30M which represents the remainder of this contract!!! But, his contract also has a morals clause. I really hope he doesn't get another dime from the network. From what I've read his actions were horrendous and was known by the network for years. The firing, HMOP, was justified. He deserves nothing more than the shame he brought upon himself and his his poor family.

I had a hard time following who was who because of people playing multiple roles. But, I think you're correct that they were meant to be grand kids. But, they appeared as her kids.

Lucky, Thanks for your review. You bring out some significant faults with the production. But, as you mentioned, the music was fantastic and brought back lots of positive memories for me.

Good health insurance provided by my company AT NO COST TO ME!! Unfortunately, since be assigned to a project in San Diego (almost 3 years ago), I've been hospitalized twice and in the ER 3 times. Without fantastic health care I'd be broke now. Would love to retire but the only thing keeping working is the heath care issue. Can't afford to purchase my own health care so I'm tied to a very stressful job. Not a good situation. Can't wait until I turn 65 in April and am eligible for Medicare. My plans are to retire after that and take control of my life again.

Don't trust Orrin Hatch at all. I hope he doesn't run for reelection. I'm a registered voter in Utah and can confirm he WON'T get my vote.

So very sorry to hear of his passing. His posts were some of my favorites. When I travel outside the USA I make sure to have travel insurance. It usually covers much more than airline / hotel issues. The policies I get include emergency health care and bringing the remains back to the USA in the unfortunate event of my death.

Fantastic play and I really enjoyed it. Lots of high energy singing. Glad they use 3 different women to plan Donna Summer at different times in her life. I don't think a single person could handle all the singing and demands of this role. My only complaint is that they only had 4-5 males in the cast. A lot of the other male roles were performed by women in male drag. Not really a fan of that. Would I see it again?? HELL YES!!!11

I believe Rapp spoke about this numerous times before the recent revelation. Quite frankly, I've heard the very numerous rumors of Spacey's "indiscretions" in England. I think he's guilty and don't appreciate him being part of our family.

The $347K is just for the theater and arcade. The structure (building) is on the market for $3.78M. FYI, I've had many wonderful nights at that place. Took home several wonderful guys. I'm still in touch with one that I met around 2004.

Perhaps a more important question is IF you can bring it back to the USA thru customs.

Loved gay pride in SLC this month. Can't believe how much it has evolved since the early days around 1979 (my first involvement). Strange to me but gay pride here in San Diego is in JULY!! But, the parade goes right in front of my apartment. Have great access to the festivities.I love living in a "gayborhood" where rainbow flags are everywhere and most of the businesses are gay-friendly. I feel right at home.

One of articles I read, based on an interview with Zeke, said that he disclosed to the producers / crew that he was trans before the season started. They also went over how to handle things if he were outed during the season. I really don't think the producers / crew had anything to do with what happened. But, they did have a plan in place in case it became an issue. I think everyone went into the season fully aware that outing was a possibility.

Just read that they guy man that outed Zeke lost his job. He worked in real estate and his company let him go saying they didn't want to be part of the negative controversy. Can't say I blame them.

Not sure I can name them all. But, here are the places / cities I remember. Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Netherlands Antilles (Caribbean), Grand Cayman Island, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Hungary, and Netherlands, Although we never docked in some countries (don't dare list them), there were several others that the submarine I served on had under periscope surveillance. They were most coastal, communist countries where they would have blown us out of the water if they knew we were there.

Never heard of it. Can you give me a clue where to find it? (HBO, Netflix, etc.)

Being a cheapskate I only buy orange juice at the Dollar Store. They don't carry these brands.

Thanks so much for this post. I haven't seen the movie and have been sitting on the fence about it. Not sure it's something I really want to see. But, a friend of mine does keyboards on Broadway. He commented that Gosling's piano shots where some of the most impressive he's seen. He even questioned if Gosling was actually playing the piano during the filming because it was so accurate.
