  1. If you look for trouble, you will find it. I didn't, and had safe trips on several occasions.
  2. There simply is no evidence yet that the COVID vaccine does or does no react to this new variant. They say we will know in a couple of weeks after studies are done.
  3. I sure don't want to go back to the shelter in place style of living. But then, I don't want COVID either. I think traveling will take a back seat. Again.
  4. Ogasms is missing an R. Is KK missing a K? 😀
  5. Brazilians are getting jabbed despite their president's admonishments. There is some good news: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/bolsonaro-covid-vaccine-brazil_n_619c3cf9e4b0ae9a42a4fafd

    Thai Pass

The Washington Post must read this forum! Here's a summary of the rules for travel to Thailand: https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/tips/thailand-travel-open-americans/
  7. I feed my dog turkey rather than beef.
  8. Thirty US dollars for a piece of paper!
  9. Reading these threads when Thailand might or might not open is dizzying! I only like to go to Thailand in the first two weeks of January, maybe late December. But it sounds as if even though the country might be open then, it could also be dead as tourism waits to ratchet up. Plus, if I go this season, @TotallyOz will not be there, having announced a holiday vacation some time ago. Does any one disagree? This could be a good time to go? (Anywhere from December 20 to January12th.)
  10. I stayed there when it opened as the Pan Pacific. The elevators were NOT air-conditioned!
  11. @Tomcal, I await your trip report!
  12. That's interesting! I was composing my answer, and then saw that @TotallyOzhas already said it: "Come out, now!"
  13. @TotallyOzI vote for Spain. It is more western and more settled than the other countries. But why do you want to leave Bangkok?
  14. An article in today's Wall Street Journal is headlined "Brazil Comes Out of Pandemic." It states: "High acceptance of vaccines across the region has allowed governments to quickly immunize their populations as global supplies of Covid-19 shots become widely available. About 72% of Brazilians have now received at least one vaccine dose, more than in the U.S., where 64% have gotten at least one shot, according to Our World in Data." So, Brazil is now safer than the US? If so, I should be planning m travel. The article goes on to state how prices keep increasing there. 15. I once strongly lusted after a dancer in a Rio sauna, but he did not stay around after his dance. I would have gladly paid him 250! The going rate at the time was 100.
  16. September 2024 news: Pandemic continues!
  17. One reason for the Gay Games is that straight games have dominated for centuries. Gays haven't been allowed, unless totally closeted. I found this post hard to believe because I just cannot imagine a gay guy not understanding this.

    Realized...

Haven't we known this for decades? It's nothing new.
  20. Gosh, I am so sorry that you didn't like many of the available guys. Considering that I haven't seen a nude guy in two years, not to mention several nude guys, not to mention several nude muscle guys, I am just full of sympathy for your plight. And you are in Rio too. So sad.
  21. The US has been helping Afghanistan for 20 years at the cost of billions of dollars and lives lost. In those 20 years, the Afghans have done nothing to get their act together. Why waste more money and lives then? Biden is doing the right thing. The onus is on the Afghans who couldn't come together to save their country.
  22. @Tomcal, how was the move?
  23. Very nice photos. Thank you for sharing them.
