I don't care where they sit either. Just not in the crosshairs of the right wing gun nuts.

Billing The Government For Escorts
Lucky replied to BiBottomBoy's topic in European Men and Destinations
We've been six weeks without a post bu Bibottomboy. Hope all is well and he is just busy with the boys. -
You actually saw the guy's pic on the wall and then he made himself available? I like that. One could fantasize for years and never have that happen to him, so it was a lucky moment for you.

I can imagine that taking a helicopter over the falls is a hallmark way of seeing them, but I was quite impressed without doing that. I hired a guide who took us to various viewpoints in both Brazil and Argentina that were quite spectacular. Helicopters can ruin many a national treasure with their noise and constant intrusions on the view and the peacefulness of places like the Grand Canyon. But even they cannot drown out the falls!

Yeah, I recognize the dick. But the guy I know didn't do all of those things he lists: Tastes / Specialties / Fetishes Vanilla, Leather, Fisting, Anal, S&M, B&D, Scat, Oral, Shaving, Spanking, Diapers, Latex, Role Playing, PNP, Kissing, Sneakers, Toys, Feet S'matter of fact, when I asked him to do sneakers with me, he would only do it if I wore a diaper that he had worn. Sorry, I drew the line there.

"5) If you are walking back from Corujinhas, the infamous hustler restaurant at night by yourself, offer $10.R to have one of the boys to walk the 5 blocks back with you, don’t walk alone if you are not familiar with the area. The same applies to Sao Paulo even more so!" Where is the Corujinhas in Sao Paolo?

When Aaron Carter revealed his hot muscled body last October to kick off a comeback attempt, the complete lack of body fat made me wonder if he was getting some extra special help with his diet. My question is answered in today's NY Daily News, which reports that Aaron is in rehab in Southern California. His manager stated: "Aaron, understanding the challenges and hard work it would take to get himself back to the top, requested to take some time before we started to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with..." Those darn spiritual issues getting in the way of a comeback. I wish him well. Maybe Scientology can help? It's hard to always be sure how old an Asian man is. The cover of this month's Out in Thailand magazine, hopefully pictured here, shows a cute young man. But when you read the article, you learn that he is 49 year old fashion designer Tananan Wilson. We should all be so lucky as to keep our youthful looks. So maybe rice is the right diet, but I eat more of it than ever and my looks get more crinkly every day. So the alternative is to enjoy your age and commend those who can keep a youthful look...isn't it?

The bill arrived while I was gone for dinner with kjun. I couldn't believe that a Thai hotel coffee shop would charge $126 for two. But, I picked the place...and didn't check the bill before I left.

A re-reading of Bonfire of the Vanities got me from LA to Tokyo. I had forgotten how good that novel is. My next novel, though, took the cake for the lamest death scene ever. It's a gay novel recently out called Code of Conduct, by Rich Merritt. It's supposedly a novel about gays in the military, but these gays are all male models with hot bods. Anyway, to the death scene. One gay soldier has taken home an undercover investigator. The gay guy leaves the room to feed his dog, who has been home alone all day, When he returns, he discovers that the guy he brought home has been snooping around, so he gets a loaded gun out of a desk drawer. In one section, the book says that the undercover guy passed out. But a few pages later, he instead tries to disarm the soldier, and, in the process, shoots him in the head. "In the last seconds of his life, Eddie saw a horrified expression overcome the stranger's face as he stepped away from Eddies's dying body in terror. In the background, Eddie heard (his dog) bark, and he smiled because he knew his friends would take care of the little guy." And they say gay fiction has come a long way.

Thai 'red shirts' protest and demand leaders' release
Lucky replied to TampaYankee's topic in Gay Asia
Those who know more about the issue can correct me, but I think if I lived there, my heart would be with the red shirts. All over Thailand one sees very poor people, many working very hard and very long hours, to make a living, of sorts. The wealthy get to enjoy a social status that goes with them for life, the poor rarely rise above their lower status. Most of the boys I met were from the north, specifically Issan, a very poor province. If the red shirts can help transfer some of the wealth more equitably, then go for it. Peacefully, I hope, but the money coming into Thailand needs to be equitably spread...or so I think. -
Lucky struggles to the finish line. Oz wore me out in Pattaya, and when I returned to Bangkok the hot and humid weather was still there. I walked my butt off anyway as there are so many things to see. The Arena massage parlor was almost across the street, so, after getting a foot massage for $6 an hour, I headed over there. Only 3 guys were out front, but they were welcoming and invited me in. That was good, because inside were about 20 guys working out, playing pool, etc. When a customer enters, they all line up, shirts off, for you to pick. The guy I liked best tried all sorts of sign language to get me to hire him, but I had all of those guys standing there, their hopes on me. So, I picked a guy from the back. What I thought was nice was that they all then cheered for him, then went back to what they were doing. My guy was a little on the tall side for me, nice skin, and very cute. On top of that, he gave an excellent massage. I wasn't so sure how erotic it would be since he left his towel on, but, once we flipped over, the towel went too. Realizing that I only had limited opportunities, I also went with another guy from the Bonny massage. All he had to do was smile at me and I was his. Friday night was dinner with MER poster firecat. We went to the Telephone Pub, which is a long time gay venue, and had a good meal outdoors. If we had sat inside, we could have used the phones on the tables to all other tables and try to pick up the guy there. (Truthfully I didn't look to see if this feature, which I had noted in the past, still exists!) Firecat took me to Best Boys Bangkok, where we watched the dancers for what seemed an interminable wait for the show to start. (Not that the multitude of boys dancing was hard on the eyes!) We noticed the guys across from us had picked a guy, and we both thought the guy looked much cuter once unavailable. What made it worse was that he then dressed, and I had to watch his cute face all through the show, wondering why I had not picked him. The show was okay, with several guys dressed as girls fucking another guy. Once again, big dicks prevailed. There was one dance number where a group of boys danced, but I focused on the cute one in front of me, dancing his heart out probably unaware that I was raping him in my mind. I think the main show there is later in the evening. Sadly, this is when the fatigue set in. On the way back to the hotel, I saw yet another very cute, and available guy, but I was just too tired. I determined to hire him on my last night, but as kjun notes elsewhere, my energy never quite resumed, and my grand finale was a grand bust. I did finish up my shopping though!! Ultimately, I had a great time in Thailand and truly enjoyed meeting the guys from MER. In Chiang Mai I stayed at a gay guesthouse called PJ's Place, which offers a very nice room, with a good breakfast, for $50, tax included, plus they provide free airport transfers. A deal. Chiang Mai bars are so far apart that the tuk-tuk is the main way to get around. They are quite a bumpy ride, and I enjoyed them much more when I was 30 years younger. In Pattaya, the feet are the main mode of transport, unless going to the gay beach at Jomtien, when you take a baht bus. (No, I don't know those guys.) The air is cooler in Pattaya, but not as nice as Chiang Mai, which is a higher elevation to the north. In Pattaya, I stayed at my old favorite gay hotel, the Ambiance. Never again. Pride of ownership, which used to be their forte, is gone. My sheets the first night were, in fact, clean, but the semen stains of the past had not come out. Yes, I got them changed, but the many bugs in the bath did not go away. The hotel now uses women to staff the desk at night, and that's okay, but it was nicer when you'd come in to be greeted by a cute gay guy. The real problem is that the attached bar, Boyz Boyz Boyz, which used to be the premiere bar in Pattaya, had really gone down hill. They used to get the best boys, and their show was the best in town. No more. Many new high-rise luxury hotels have gone up in Pattaya, so that may be the way to go next time. Bangkok is full of luxury hotels at decent prices, and, in that heat, you are glad to come back to something nice and relaxing. I didn't stay there, but the new Le Meridien is smack dab in the middle of Patpong, the main night life area. My flight back was on time, and fully packed. When approaching Narita, they announced that the flight to Portland was canceled due to mechanical problems, so many disappointed folks were about to go through what I did at the start of my trip. You'd think Delta would have checked those planes out before they bought Northwest. Tomorrow I start on those insurance forms. Finally, a word to anyone who expected me to have more sex: So did I.

kjun, I was greatly disappointed not to get to spend more time with you and your bf on Saturday. I think I was just worn out by then. I did go back and sleep, but that made it all the harder to sleep on the plane. So, Lucky is home, safe and sound, but tired and worn! I'll put my last report up in the Thailand/Asia forum.

In Chiang Mai, the Psychiatric Hospital is huge. I was glad not to end up there!

You are welcome. I intended to include TY, but the message I was using for my format did not allow space. So,thanks, TY. You, too, keep this a place of high standards and interesting threads. Funny, when I started this thread, I was just going to thank Oz for showing me such a nice time in Pattaya, and joining up with me each night I was there. But,in the back of my head, there was some other "thank you"post rambling around among the loose rocks in my head, and I must have used some of that too when writing.

Thank you, Oz... For keeping MER one of the finest places I've ever encountered on any board. Mind you, I didn't read every thread word for word. I'm not a masochist and I have a life. Any reasonably intelligent person could do a cursory overview and see that one or two posts are of no interest. On other boards, some of the queens who post there just wish to jabber, joust, and attack each other using the most meaningless bullshit as their justification (with references to us, no less). Are so few gay men purchasing companionship these days or is there so little going on in the world that some gay men have nothing better to do or talk about? Are they rock hard with no place to go? One thing to celebrate, is that they don't bring their gripes to MER. We're the only message board to honor Hooboy's memory by naming a forum for him. We try to keep the level of discourse high so as to respect his memory. If you don't have anything creative, sexy, or interesting to say here, then I suggest you join another board, where every once in a while someone just goes on a tirade, If that's what you need, why not get it? The world already has too much noise from unhappy guys, so I hope we can keep MER a place where we have fun posting, and everyone enjoys hearing from each other. Happy Chinese New Year!

I have made way from the police in Pattaya and am now in Bangkok for the end of my trip. Pattaya was great fun as Oz showed me around, police raid an added attraction. He knows a lot of people, but especially knows the good places to eat. We took in the bad boys show at Boyz Boyz Boyz last night, and they weren't so bad. They should have been! One fun club was Dynamite, where we each tried to keep the dancers happy as we were the only customers. But we made some guys smile. Now, I plan to go to the muscle bar, and then check out some of the other places. Tomorrow night I meet another MER poster, firecat. Saturday kjun is going to join me at the Weekend Market. You gotta admit it is nice to travel and meet folks from the boards wherever you go. The bf has given me permission to get have as much fun as possible in these last few days, reminding me what a bore Palm Springs is. And I do want to help the Thai economy...so maybe a foot massage is in store?

He's gorgeous, but he thinks male models are treated like the "lowest of the low." See what David Gandy has to say about life after being 50 feet tall in Times Square: Poor David Gandy

I didn't find anything in the local news about the raid, but they are just now reporting a raid on January 5th, so maybe they are behind in the news: Unhappy Ladies This raid is not dated: Gambling Raid So, maybe they aren't just picking on gays...?
-
Well, thanks. I aim to please. I did reflect a lot on what I wrote above about the police raid. I hope I did not give the impression that the boys were fleeing because they were all on drugs. The purpose of the raid was to harass, and do it with the press watching. The boys may be happy to dance in the bar, but it does not mean that they want their picture on the news for the folks back home to see. Additionally, who wants to be harassed by the police in the first place? I wanted to avoid them myself, and I had nothing to fear.Just like truck drivers and baseball players use drugs for the long haul and the players during the dog days of summer, some boys sometimes use uppers to keep the bootie shaking night after night. But I did not mean to imply that the was the reason they all cleared out. The raid depressed me. It was like the government trying to tell gays that their lifestyle is not approved of. Police here have no bragging rights on lifestyles. It is a beautiful morning in Pattaya. I had breakfast on the 14th floor of the new Hilton, overlooking the water and all the boats. It was delicious. When the bellboy at the front of the hotel learned that I needed directions to the restaurant, he actually took me there. I was impressed with that kind of service. Today I want to return to the beach. I may end up with a Russian wife, but I'd settle for a Russian boyfriend...at least for a day.

LOL- I like the sign too! But tonight we did not go to Boyztown, instead went to Sunnee Plaza. The bf and I had been shocked 3 years ago at something we saw in a bar that involved an extremely young looking boy. So, Oz gave me the Sunnee tour, and true enough, the place is not much different now from Boyztown. I saw no (too)-young boys. We went to 4 go-go bars, the favorite being the Krazy Boys. The rest of the bars are now beer bars and have no dancers. But the night was not without a story. One of the beer bar owners had told us he had heard the police were coming through tonight. At one bar, many of the boys suddenly left, not because they were underage, but because they didn't want to pee in a cup. At Krazy Boys they suddenly put shirts on. When we left, we found the streets packed with police, military, and press, as the entire area of gay bars was being raided. The substreets were blocked off to catch any boys that did not flee soon enough. Eventually there was nary a boy to be seen, except for a few getting photographed by police. The massive raid was disheartening as it was clear that only gay bars were being invaded. And it was a big party pooper as well, since only the farangs were left, shaking their heads and wondering where the boys were. Well, they were in Boyztown, which was seemingly untouched by the police action, although there did seem to be fewer boys there than the night before. So, if you are left wondering about chiseled chest, I did see him, again shirtless and apparently returning from an out call...pure speculation on my part. I later parked myself where the masseurs from the place sat, but no sign of him. I did take note of another athletic guy, who was also pretty cute, and he seemed to quickly notice that my eye lingered on him one/millionth of a second longer than it normally would have. That's all it took, and I was soon being massaged. Well, sort of. It wasn't quite a deep tissue massage. But, being naked in my room with a cute Thai guy (25) wasn't so bad...until he called me "sir." That made me feel kind of old. But not as old as it did when my knee cracked and he was scared that he had hurt me. Fat chance of that since his massage was so light. But we ended up parting happily, his mission accomplished and me falling asleep, no doubt drooling on my pillow. Well, I made that part up. I didn't sleep. I notice that Pattaya is increasingly visited by Russians, who have to be the world's worst dressers. It is just unbelievable how mismatched their clothing is. Even the muscle hunks have odd muscle shirts on. And don't ask me about the Russian women I saw at the beach. It might have looked like a muscle dyke beach had it not been for the men the women were with. But some of the Russian boys are quite cute. Lots of Muslims now in Pattaya too, which makes me think their efforts to make the place a family friendly location might actually work. But those Russians clearly love their drink, so that won't go, and with those wives the men need Pattaya just as it is. {All stated in a lighthearted, politically correct humor.) The photo above of Nicholhas could get me forgetting all about Thai boys, so I had better leave the website and get back to the real (?) world. The real world...in Tunisia, not Thailand:

"It is always interesting to me to meet people that I have pictured in my mind for years. Often they are nothing like what you expect and often you end up really liking the person behind the name you have been so familiar with." Which of these apply to Lucky?
