Jack Was Here is one of my latest finds in the area of Novels set in Thailand. It is not a gay-themed story, but if you are like me after a few visits to Thailand, a good novel set in the Land of Smiles appeals. There are few quality novels that do have a gay theme. If you can live without that and just relish reading about things, places, and events in Thailand, then Jack Was Here might be for you. I sure liked it. A summary of the story can be found at this link: http://www.andrewlownie.co.uk/authors/christopher-bardsley/books/jack-was-here In short, though, a 19-year old backpacker goes missing in Thailand, and his parents have not had good luck in trying to find him. Enter Hugh Fitzgerald, a soldier who returns to his Australian home with PTSD. Hugh needs something to do, and the family hires him to find Jack. Hugh follows his own rules. The adventure he encounters brings us to various parts of Thai life, and to Thai people. Soon Hugh finds that drug lords may know where Jack is. I had a great time going with Jack into Thailand and Malaysia. When he saw bar girls, I saw bar boys. It worked for me! It's a great story that kept my attention start to finish.

Walker, I referred to Le Boy in the past tense. As for being ignored, I am expecting that when I go to a place solely to lust after hot dancing boys. My time has passed for getting cruised, but I can still enjoy beauty when I see it.
-
Isn't The Week a whole different ball game than the sauna? I used to go to Le Boy without any intent of picking someone up. It was just fun watching smoldering hot guys dancing and posturing. But now I can't stay up that late.

It's so much more fun to come here and to read the posts without worrying if has gone on too long or even posted something I didn't want to read. I can ignore negative posts no matter how large the font gets! Does that make me a Badboy?

Losing Ann Coulter would be a blessing for the entire nation. She should retire!

It seems like such a long time ago that we first gathered for a Palm Springs Weekend. Then known as the Hooville Weekend, it was named such to honor both Hooboy and to give it a name separate from the website we all used. There was no boytoy.com then. Saturday night started with the dinner, followed by a play or musical at the Palm Canyon Theater. (This year the theater is showing Damn Yankees, in case anyone is interested.) Sunday had no pool event as I didn't have a pool! Each year things grew a bit, and finally Oliver took charge and the event blossomed. It was much like starting a thread. Sure, I started it, but others took it from there. Now the weekend includes other activities as well. First Jason Carter added a Sunday night dinner, then Ace and others added some sexual fun. I think there is now a Thursday party too. No Jason Carter this year, I am told. But there will be new guys and returning guys. I don't attend every year. Since I retired from the other site I know fewer and fewer people who post there. The Hooville Weekend ain't what it used to be, and that's just fine!

But you didn't Jack, you didn't!

TotallyOz Posted Friday at 06:38 PM Members of this site use to be invited to the party but that stopped a few years back. Lucky originally started these parties and did a great job getting everyone together. I went to one and had a nice time and even met Daddy who was friendly. If you are in the area, go. It is always good to meet people with similar ideas and things in common. Latbear4blk reacted to this

People wearing clothing in a sauna detract from the atmosphere. It's a sexual venue, so strip! (just my opinion tomcal! )
-
The saunas are not for everyone. Many guys simply don't find them to be a venue where they thrive. I am happy that I don't include myself in that group, but this thread shows that some do.

For someone who doesn't attend, I don't think anyone has shown more interest in the Palm Springs Weekend than Suckrates/jjkrkwood. He even likes the idea enough to wiggle his own plans for one in New York. Not so seriously that it will happen though. Suckrates, I would be glad to provide you a free place to stay if you can come to the Palm Springs Weekend. Next year too. I think you would have a great time.

Prostitution did not become the world's oldest profession by accident. It has survived centuries of efforts to ban it. Just because now there is an active effort to stop it doesn't mean that the effort will succeed. I agree that many obstacles are there, especially Trump's efforts to give lifetime appointments to conservative attorneys not even wet behind the ears. Even a conservative publication like the NY Post has a columnist opposing the effort to ban prostitution, pointing out how the rhetoric has gone way overboard with trafficking charges being wildly exaggerated. https://nypost.com/2018/03/04/the-best-way-to-fight-sex-trafficking-is-to-legalize-prostitution/ So basically, this too will pass. Someone actively involved in hiring escorts will already have a way into accessing these services. People find drugs despite the huge war on drugs. Human needs do not change just because a law does.

(I couldn't get the dog pix to delete for some reason.) Lukas has been featured on this website a lot. Here he is at 38: https://www.boytoy.com/forums/topic/14584-lukas-ridgestone-at-38/?tab=comments#comment-88846

Lukas in Chelsea, New York City. Yes, a porn shop appearance!

I just watched it again. It is so much fun, and with Eartha Kitt singing the theme song to a disco beat, you can dance to it! But I didn't. Now I need to call an escort...

I didn't need lube, Larstrup, but I could have if I was hornier!

I received 60000 miles thanks to this offer, and tassojunior who posted the link. Then today, it got better. Avianca sent me an offer to fly to Bogota or Cali round trip for 26,500 miles. I have enough for both of us! The flight down to Bogota is nonstop, leaving LAX right before midnight and arriving about 7 a.m. The problem is the return flight- 15 hours redeye touring many of Avianca's Latin stops. You can choose from 3 alternatives, seeing Quito or Salvador or Mexico City, bu there is no shorter opportunity. So I am still thinking about it. 5 hours in Quito in the middle of the night? Hmm.

Is there a reason that you bring this up now? I thought maybe you were going to say that he had died. I also like(d) Lukas. Once I flew from New York to San Francisco and he and Johann Paulik were also on the flight. It was a redeye and so I managed to um, well, sleep with them! Just in different rows. I saw them at baggage claim and being young it seemed the redeye took little toll. Subsequently I met Lukas in person and had my photo taken with him. This is a while back, perhaps 2002 or 2003. He sure looked handsome.

This 15 minute video is men-watching at its finest. It's fun, and very sexy.

I guess drawings ore okay with Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/andrey.makassar.9

I keep getting "friends" suggestions from Facebook that are pages for gay guys in the Phillipines, primarily, who want to see how racy they can make their Facebook profile pic. Some of them are really handsome, some not. But bare chests and more are the in thing there. Two profile pics were drawings of guys sucking dick. I guess drawings are okay. Many show the dick hard under the underwear. This one advertises sex, and one of his photos shows cum. Is Facebook watching? I am getting a cheap thrill from some! https://www.facebook.com/ma.tu.129357
