Will ZIka Change Sexual Behavior?
Lucky replied to Lucky's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
But, that's changing, which is why I started the thread. Obviously I did a bad job of conveying my point, but scientists are now thinking that adults can get brain damage from the Zika virus. That's a whole new ball game. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2016/08/18/zika-can-infect-adult-brain-cells-not-just-fetal-cells/?hpid=hp_hp-more-top-stories_zika-1230pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory -
Shocking news on the Zika front: It's more transmissible than previously thought through sex. Condoms can prevent it, so the pressure is on the barebackers. Even with Prep, they could spread this relatively new disease. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/13/nyregion/zika-new-york-sexual-transmission.html?hpw&rref=nyregion&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&module=well-region®ion=bottom-well&WT.nav=bottom-well

Firecat, when I first started visiting Thailand, I think I liked the bottoms best, although not necessarily twinks. (Yet all the bar dancers are young.) In Brazil, I learned how glorious those tops guys can be! They also seem a bit older than Thai guys, but age isn't often easy to discern in Thailand. Those lucky guys can be 35 and look 20!
-
Firecat, we have had the opposite experience. I went to Thailand 14 times, thinking that it just couldn't get better. Then I went to Brazil, and, for me, Brazil guys were the greatest. So now I have been to Brazil 5 times*. That's my experience. We all know that our mileage may vary as it such a personal thing. That said, I do have a trip to Thailand in the works. Brazil right now seems impossibly expensive to get to. * Cannot help but feel how lucky I really am to have been able to have these experiences a multitude of times.

I have been to 7 of the ten listed beach cities. Rio wins for me.

An article in the NY Daily News tells us of a security flaw in some Android phones. Bad guys can infect your phone when you use Google Play. I downloaded the scanner to find out if my phone was vulnerable, and 3 areas were found. Fixing them requires more help from the manufacturer. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/android-phone-vulnerable-quadrooter-security-flaw-article-1.2742980

Don't worry. He's in a pool, not the bay!

Critics are savaging Rio for not cleaning up the bay where Olympic events such as sailing will occur. It stinks, they say, and you don't dare open your mouth. Rio dumps its poop into the bay, and has for years. Although promising to clean it up before the Olympics, the money for that no doubt went into politicians' pockets. Yet the Olympics have caused other host cities to clean up their sewage. It's a big problem. Think about all the food on grocery shelves. Where does it end up? Here's the article. It might open your mind, if not your anus! https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/aug/07/rio-stench-olympic-call-to-ordure This thread dedicated to all poop lovers, especially A.S.

Great! Were they expensive? In SF, that set would have cost $200. -
Krit is trying to come clean, telling the NY Post that he suffered a manic episode due to being bipolar. Nice try. It would make him a more sympathetic character if mentally ill, rather than on drugs. Read his first person story here: http://nypost.com/2016/08/06/a-manic-episode-led-me-to-strip-naked-in-times-square/

A Virginia mayor was arrested in a hotel after he gave meth to men he thought he was going to hook up with: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/virginia-mayor-busted-selling-meth-exchange-group-sex-article-1.2739760 And, on the West Coast, another mayor was arrested. Stockton mayor, Anthony Silva, was found to be taping teens playing strip poker in his bedroom at a youth camp. One of the youths was a 16-year old male. His lawyer says he is "100% innocent." The incident came to light when Silva's computer was seized after he entered the United States from China, where he was attending a conference. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Stockton-mayor-arrested-over-strip-poker-game-at-9123454.php

Not sure that this a very accurate picture of Rio, but, it is troubling.

The more terrorist activity there is, the better the chances for Trump to win. He markets himself as the Law and Order candidate. Get the people scared, and they will rush to give up their personal rights in order to feel secure.

I try faithfully to keep , computer cookies to a minimum. But, after being away for a few days and my computer locked, I now have, according to my spyware program. 1164 cookies on my computer. I want cookies for the sites i meet each day, but is spyware the only way to block them? Most of the cookies are for ads I looked at, some are ad cookies. Just how much of a threat is his? Are there other ways to stop it? What do these cookies do, besides follow you through the internet?

This thread is like old home week. To think I was posting here ten years ago? That's just sad.

Well, no, but he could fistfuck me.

I wonder why no poster has ever adopted the name Barracuda as a screen name.

Yes, I managed a ticket while they were still sane. It is nothing short of amazing!
