The Pope strikes me as a highly bizarre figure.

I spend part of the year in two of the top ten and I'd tend to agree. Based on what I've seen I'd put Phoenix higher up on the list, given the number of hot boys at Arizona State. I don't get Philadelphia or Boston, also surprised that LA and Dallas aren't ranked higher.

Ah San Francisco. In my opinion, its attractiveness was highest from the 70's to around 2000. Now, it's full of oligarchs and other nouveaux riches on the one hand and the down and out on the other. It used to be my favorite city but I have no desire to visit anymore. It's also gotten noticeably scruffier in many parts. I think San Diego is now the nicest big city in California, although it's a totally different vibe than SF, which still has its great cultural jewels.

African Christianity is far more conservative. Many conservative Episcopal parishes in the U.S. break away from their local diocese and join an African one.

I enjoyed Helsinki big I found the Finns to be rather morose. Of course, it was in the beginning of October and the temps were already at the freezing mark. Tallinn, on the other hand, is full of the cutest blinds I've ever seen. There are a few clubs in the Old Town. Most of the Millennials speak English well, so you won't have a problem communicating. Next time I'm there, I want to visit Latvia, Lithuania and St Petersburg.
