For foreign adventures, it's probably best to visit Latin America and SE Asia.

It was a fine airline twenty years ago, but low prices and general prole drift have contributed to making air travel awful. In the US, Alaska is the best airline.

Oh, I forgot Belgium.

Canada, Mexico, Chile and Argentina in this hemisphere. Ireland, N. Ireland, Scotland, England, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Vatican City, France, Switzerland and Spain in Europe. Northern Spain was probably my favorite and Hungary my least. I've also been in all states except Alaska and Wyoming.

Looks like they have Uber in Bogota and Medellin. Any experience with Uber from recent visitors?

Looking into flying to Bogota in late August over Labor Day and returning around September 11. Perhaps fly into Bogota and spend a few days and then head to Medellin for most of the trip, returning to SEA from there. Flights include rather long layovers. Any suggestions for lodgings? I'm thinking of maybe a short-term rental in the Poblado estrato in Medellin.
