@Tomcal thanks for the pointer. Great approach! I did book a Delta business R/T to Croatia and return from Ukraine recently and the fare was the lowest I’ve paid in 10 years.

Priceless. I knew which Jesus is would be immediately.

I can’t stand noise. -
Daddy’s won’t be the same without you.

@tassojunior enjoyed the links, although we’ll probably end up either in a state of chronic breakdown, likely civil conflict and ultimately some sort of authoritarian state. A “soft” totalitarianism perhaps. I hope the center can hold, but in many ways I feel like we’re seeing the last days of the Weimar Republic. When the majority, for disparate reasons, loses faith in the liberal state, all hell can break out.

On Point had three 17 yo candidates on this morning, all running for Kansas posts. I realize that NPR devotees like me are a self-sorted cohort, but the call-in folks were very excited. I’m getting to the point that I won’t vote for any Baby Boomers. I’m reading A Generation of Sociopaths by Bruce Cannon Gibney. Eye-opening.

Bucharest, Romania: Any Info?

Haha. I’ll be there in August. The Romanian diaspora is substantial. Hopefully a few 20-something hotties will still be there when I’m in town! -

Amazing the shit you can buy OTC in pharmacies outside the US. -
I’ve been texting Egor. His English is excellent.

I think from a calorie and health perspective, you’d be better of with sprinkling the cheese over two scrambled eggs, fried in EVOO. Bagels are carb bombs and exacerbate all sorts of conditions. Just my unsolicited advice.

I love it.

I think Oz has met him. He appears to be a bit of a recluse and I think he lives in Vegas.

Just finished watching this Netflix original last night. Maybe my taste is odd, but the show was superb, with a great cast of mainly newcomers, two of whom will be in Love, Simon.

It’s a long story, but the housing prices in formerly gay areas like Laguna Beach and WeHo got so high that many middle-aged and older guys decamped to the desert. Before that, it had been a winter destination for many in the community. In the 90s, LB had three gay bars, including the famous Boom Boom Room, and two decent restaurants, Shame on the Moon and Mark’s. At the time, Shame on the Moon was also in PS and there was another Mark’s in WeHo. LB is full of oligarchs and parvenus now.

I know other young guys who do fillers and Botox. If it’s done in moderation, it can be prophylactic; however, it often leads to abuse, like many other things these days. Some of these guys will never be satisfied with their youthful beauty. At my age, a little conservative maintenance doesn’t hurt. The key words being “at my age”.

Katherine Langford and Miles Heizer from 13 Reasons Why are also in this film. They were both terrific.

I also think the boy with the leaf blower in the trailer is hot as hell. I’ve been trying to find out who he is.

Er, I meant Robinson!

I think Nick Robertson is cute and hot beyond measure. I loved him in The Fifth Wave. One of the most handsome faces I’ve seen in a long time, plus a great voice. He’s also 6’2 and lanky.

He was known to be supportive of the Argentine junta in the 70’s—“El Proceso de la Reorganizacion Nacional”. Phony, like most of the other crimson poseurs.
-
Oh, reaaaaly? Would be worth the trip to meet him.

Has JJ ever posted on this site?

It is crazy. He’ll look like a freak in 10 years. It’s appropriate at my age.
