I saw this show last weekend and I thought it was great! I saw it a long time ago (10 years?) when Joey Arias was the MC. The MC (Christopher Kenney) in this revision is the weakest link IMO. The dancers are fantastic as are all of the musicians,and the Comics) There is a LOT of tits, but also a lot of lovely male flesh (no dick unfortunately) and some very sexy dance numbers. Another note-the seating for this show is not as 'raked" as the other Cirque shows in Vegas-best seats are up front. I am thankful to see another Thanksgiving. I almost did not make it this year. I am thankful for Doctors who actually care about their patients and listen to them (a rare thing-I am glad my surgeon was one of them) as well as nurses who work hard and provide care for people above what is just the norm/ I am thankful for family I am most thankful for having a great circle of friends including our own LurkerSpeaks and TomCal and of course TotallyOz!

When I first moved to SoCal 20 years ago there were so many Gay bars. In the city I live in there were five, now there is one-and it survives by doing Karaoke contests 3 nights a week to mostly straight crowd, The demise of the bars in WeHo makes me so sad. There used to be four Gay bars east of La Cienega now there is one. There used to be bars off of SMB none survive, The bars on SMB are dying a slow painful death,You can't pay the rent on one or two good nights a week. And of course all of the bars for those looking to hire are gone. As a result of this I find myself not going out anywhere close to what I did in the past. Whn I do go into WeHo I usually hang out at a coffee shop and watch the passing parade from there. I miss the old days-I miss them a lot

My brother recently visited and did some chores for me in anticipation of my return home from hospital. I am out of the hospital after a lengthy stay. I thank all of you for your kindness and good wishes. I have been very bad about attending to my health needs and I have now paid a serious price. I have suspected for years that I was probably diabetic but did nothing about it till I almost died a month ago because of a MERSA infection and complications from my Diabetes. I have now been in Hospital for over a month. Part of my foot has been removed. I will have to be super vigilante about my diet and my health for the rest of my life. I will also be dealing with bills and financial hardship for some time. Not fun but at least I am alive.

I have a good friend who was caught up in the bust. He is just an employee of easyrent and not a principle. He is being prosocuted as an individual and not as part of the corporation. He has lost his income from his job and is no facing legal bills that he is expected to pay on his own. His husband has set up a gofundme site which I will contribute to.
