  1. He is cute. I like how he says he's gonna quit doing porn before he gets married. He sounds about as credible a guy I once had sex with who told me he was engaged and was having one last fling.
  2. You phrased this as a question, so I will respond. It is legitimate to want to know about the character and habits of people--in this case, escorts--we consider inviting into our homes and spending time with. It's partly a desire to avoid trouble but it's also just personal preference. All else equal, if I'm paying $200+ an hour I'd rather it be to someone whose values and character I respect. I feel like I'm stating the obvious. I mean, this is a site for sharing information about escorts, yes? I agree that raw negativity and "piling on" is uncalled for. I don't believe I've engaged in that. When someone here asked about how to contact Scott, I tried to be helpful by responding with a link to someone's web page that gave his mailing address. When you say you "see NO value what-so-ever in the discussion on this thread", I have to wonder if you even read it. I again thank this site's administrators for the patience and tolerance they have shown.
  3. An accident in a freeway's northbound lanes will slow traffic on the southbound lanes as drivers gawk. That's not in everyone's best interest, as it's safer to stick to watching the traffic on one's own side of the road. I've been driving for over thirty years and I still have to fight the urge to gawk at accident scenes. It takes will power to keep my eyes on my side of the road. The SA-in-hot-water blogs are alluring for the same reasons that make people watch movies about crime and police work. But a person can be fascinated by other people's run-ins with the law and at the same time realize that there are better things they could be doing with their time. So in response to Lucky's question: the anonymity may come from people being of two minds--fascinated by watching a crash (metaphorically speaking) and yet not proud that they are. There's also the issue of this being a criminal case in progress and thus a bit hot to handle. The DA's office might be reading the blogs for all we know, and people posting comments may prefer to keep a distance.
  4. Post #16 in this thread has a link to a blog that gives his inmate number and the PO Box for correspondence. (Just passing this on; I can't vouch for whether the number and address are correct.)Thanks to the moderators of this site for keeping their cool, for responding to questions, and for not just squelching all discussion on this matter.
  5. In this business, personal attributes are business-related attributes. I read reviews and forum postings to find out about (among other things) an escort's habits and character. The way you phrase it, you make it sound like protecting the interests of escorts is a higher priority than protecting the interests of clients -- heaven forbid anyone should advise potential clients about shady characters, lest it "damage their careers". I thought the issue here was a privacy breach, not whether information was uncomplimentary.I have no problem with the privacy policy. The rule about not blowing an escort or client's cover makes sense, and it makes sense to enforce it uniformly.
  6. Under "Latest Escort Profile" (do you mean Profiles?) on the right, the link for collegeboyforyou says the profile is not found.
  7. The NY Times quotes the court: “Consensual sex amongst adults is legal, which includes even gay sex and sex among the same sexes†I wonder, is this some kind of koan?
  8. When I had a suggestion, I indeed went first to the Contact Us page. The very first sentence on the page: "It is best to post your questions and comments in the Message Board as that will illicit the fastest response." So that's what I did. (P.S.: it's elicit, not illicit) I sympathize about the computer issues. My suggestion was ultimately considered, so all's well that ends well there. Thank you.
  9. Do admins even want suggestions about site issues? I have no indication of whether a suggestion I made was even considered.
  10. I like Udo Lindenberg's version.
  11. Caleb Carter, whose profile is at escort_id=106091075 ("puppescort"), is deceased. Out of respect for all concerned, I suggest that the administrators consider taking the profile down.
  12. I'm an atheist from the same J-C culture. To me, the finiteness of life is just one more limitation to accept. I'm OK with not being infinitely smart or strong, I'm OK with living in a world where everything has its limitations, and it's in the same spirit that I'm OK with my life having a finite extent. I agree with you that a cry against death motivates religion for many people. I see belief in life after death as organized denial.
  13. I still am interested to know why you think Sotomayor isn't sharp.
  14. Please cite some of her dissents you don't like. Where (besides the TNR piece) did you get this idea? You knew she was valedictorian of her high school class and graduated summa cum laude at Princeton. yes?
  15. I was encouraging a close reading of the article to see if it has merit.Looking at who published it (and supposed whys) are no substitute for that. The Supreme Court overturns 61% of the cases it hears in general.(These figures don't count all the cases they tacitcly concur with by not taking the appeal.)
  16. Read that TNR article carefully. Notice how much use Rosen makes of anonymous sources, and how eager he was to pass along hearsay. I mean, one quote is introduced as "said to have leaned over and said". A former clerk for another judge is quoted as saying "I know the word on the street is that she's not the brainiest of people, but I didn't have that experience." Look what that quote does. It's in a paragraph that's included for "balance", i.e. to say positive things about Sotomayor. But the quote starts off by saying there's a consensus that Sotomayor isn't so sharp. Rosen has quoted an anonymous source telling us what the word on the street is. Sheesh. See http://dissentingjustice.blogspot.com/2009...ns-utterly.html for more on why it's a lightweight piece.
  17. Speaking for myself, not "the gay community"-- I don't pay much attention to what contestants in Mr or Miss <whatever> contests say. Obama is a disappointment in several ways, but the choice in November was between him and McCain, and I deemed McCain worse (in several ways). You might get more responses if your request weren't so snide.
  18. I'm curious to know how Michael Lee is.
  19. I went to urbandictionary.com to look up "couching" before I realized you mean coughing.
  20. I think that being professional would be to explain why you are leaving rather than being vague about it. Again, being vague and cancelling is leaving the other person in the dark. A cancellation fee is a nice gesture, but just because you're giving the guy some money doesn't mean he wouldn't also benefit from knowing why you cancelled.
  21. friendly: plain looking affectionate: expensive shy: insecure energetic: cums fast expensive: expensive
  22. Thanks for the reports on Alec. It's always nice to hear about good experiences with escorts. I'm still curious, though, to see if anyone can report on what, (if anything) is different about meeting a high-profile client.
  23. Under "privacy" on his site at http://alec.turboflip.com/ Alec Hayden says he specializes "in meeting people with strict privacy requirements." He also says "If you are a public figure, I am amenable to operating within special protocols. Though, if possible, I prefer not to communicate through intermediaries or handlers." What special protocols do public figures use when hiring? Is it like a spy movie, where two people recognize each other in a meeting place by slipping code phrases into their conversation? What kinds of intermediaries do they use? Do escorts get calls from interns or secretaries?
  24. Everyone quotes that unfairly; there should be a comma after African-American. Biden's remark was regrettable, but it wasn't as bad as it looks without the comma. For a full explanation, with audio of the remark in question, see here.
  25. "Everyone is at least a little bit bisexual" -- we believe this about the guys we want. But ourselves, we don't wanna hear a word about pussy.
