Fot just over 2 years, I've been seeing a straight trainer (fit body, nice looking) who also lives with his girlfriend. I've only visited Rio once, and that was 2 years ago with my then boyfriend and we stayed in Ipanema. I thought then that Copacabana was rather shabby compared to Ipanema and Leblon. I'm planning a visit soon as a single man and I'll be looking for company. I speak several languages but not Portuguese. Would you recommend I stay in Copacabana, and would you recommend your hotel? Is there a good personal guide to Rio (I've read here about Danilo from Sao Paulo)? And as a dedicated gym-goer, I like a gym that's well-equipped and if hot and friendly guys go there, so much the better. What gyms in Rio would you recommend?
