  1. She Dumped Me So I Had Her Trailer Towed ===== Believe it or not but you can't use Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. It's a real song. No Really, it was a hit. Trace Adkins recorded it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=vNVguvNE7qc

Which in turn reminds me of Mr. Mook, my 11th/12th grade journalism teacher. Short, squat homely guy about 45/50 years old, single, usually needed a shave and a haircut and to tuck in his shirt tails of his unpressed white dress shirt. He had a closet sized office attached to the back of his classroom where he kept various journalism supplies, a Mr. Coffee machine with really vile coffee (you know, the kind with a shiny oily sheen floating on the top), a small desk and in the bottom right hand drawer, a bottle of booze. He was a pretty good journalism teacher, truth be told, but by mid afternoon he was usually three sheets to the wind. I can't say I blamed him, it must have taken a hefty slug of bourbon to make that coffee palatable. And he had a coffee mug in his hand from first period on. The student paper staff were all happy with him because he left us to put out the paper totally unsupervised. We put in whatever we wanted. He did ask us that one time not to put stuff in that would get him trouble with the school board, but he never bothered to read, much less edit/censor, the paper . Hooray for Jim Beam and teacher tenure laws!
  3. Let's try a sub-thread about classy song titles for country music songs. I'll go first: She's Pretty (But She Ain't No John Deere) and My Wife Left Me for My Girlfriend ==== Bonus points if you come up with good lyrics for the titles but you'll have to share royalties with Jeph Jacques.

It appears that Axiom has never had to change a kid's diapers.

Most husbands are harder to keep clean than a silicon dildo.

Ahahahahaha...total bullshit, AS. You're just frustrated that (for once) Lucky didn't flip his wig and charge the red cape. You were looking to be awarded a tail and both ears. Pucker up all you like, AS; Oz is immune to gratuitous ass-kissery. Now if you give him a reach-around while you're at it, you might get somewhere.

In preparation for what? It makes a difference, Pasadena.
  8. (Just for AS & Hito. )
  9. First I'm Alice Roosevelt and now I'm Miss Daisy? This just ain't my day.

  12. Somehow I have not the slightest doubt that the first time I take a ride in a driverless car, it will introduce itself with: "HI, I'm Hal9000 and I'll be your drive today. What is your destination?"
  13. 5,642 vehicle pile up on quiet residential street: Engineers blame faulty algorithm.

Sez AdamSmith as he masses troops on Paragon's eastern march. Diplomats flurry about in a last minute effort to maintain the peace. The world anxiously awaits. Actually the world seems otherwise occupied. But then isn't that always the case until the first bomb goes off.
  15. Actually, the general idea is to eliminate our vast fleets of individually owned cars. You just click your i-phone for transport when you need a car, the nearest vehicle drives itself to wherever you are and is waiting for you at the curb by them time you get to the street. You get in, tell it where you want to be and off you go. Way more efficient both in terms of cost to you and in terms of the total number of vehicles on the road. These guys aren't really talking about driverless cars as an end in themselves. The real payoff is in a new paradigm for personal transportation. All the efficiency of public transport w/o the hassle and inconvenience; all the convenience of personal vehicles w/o the cost and aggravation.
  16. The Brits were understandably reluctant to commit valuable warships to the English Channel except in desperate circumstances (Dunkirk). but I have not the slightest doubt that if 3000 Rhine River motorized barges had set out for England, they would have been met by the Home Fleet. Let's see, 3000 unarmed barges chugging along at 3 or 4 knots vs. 200 warships at 30 to 35 knots blasting away at everything in sight. Wonder what the Las Vegas over/under would have been on that battle?
  17. LOL, me too! First time I ran across one, it took a while to really believe what I was reading (I'd never seen gay porn before or really much of any thing gay). Near as I could figure, the drug store had no idea what was on the paperback rack.
  18. Peeing is fine, it's the little floating logs that get me out of the pool.

RA1 and family gratefully arrive in sunny California after a difficult winter journey.
  21. Clearly Mr. BoyToy has been wanking off to this bit of Edwardian fluff and judged it worthy of a wider audience. And on re-reading, I find myself a tad randy myself. Again. Thanks, BoyToy!

Maybe the Beib's career will be ruined and he'll squander all his cash on drugs & ho's and wind up doing hot gay porn to pay the rent. There's an up side to everything!
  23. But if starving is so good for you, shouldn't those guys in the Sahel live past 100? http://dailydigestnews.com/2014/06/fasting-can-regenerate-entire-immune-system-study-finds/ Maybe it's only beneficial for us overfed Westerners but, hey, if you've been feeling poorly lately, give it a try. If nothing else, (visible) ribs are sexy!
  24. So not only have their genes blessed your parents with a gay inclined son, those self-same alleles also bless them with slutty daughters prone to get preggers at 13. Or so speculates the Washington Post. Probably just another 'just so' story cloaked as scientific theory but who knows, might be something to it.
