Campaigns are always ALL about digging up garbage on your opponent, and Everyone has a history with some garbage in it....EVERYONE...... The problem is that the garbage is usually re-mixed into a message the opponent wants to send, and often doesnt retain a speck of Truth.... Its up to US to do our vetting of candidates, and know who they are, not listen to partisan noise and misinformation.... This is difficult to do, but usually the truth surfaces about people, like in the Platner case, where the truth circulated from the start, but people CHOSE to ignore it..... We often make these people into WHAT WE WANT THEM TO BE in our minds..... We do ourselves a huge disservice. As for Michigan, I have a problem with Hayley Stevens, she makes me barf.....
