Where did you find the bar tender? Which bar is he at? - always looking for somewhere gay friendly to visit evening time in Rio not long till my next trip!

What was this place and why was it special?

I'm not sure the guys are seeking overnights per se? Usually I ask a guy before cabin that I'm looking to take a guy out for dinner and overnight too.

But why Tuesdays in particular? do they go to discuss steroids / working out tips? or has it developed over time that Tuesday is muscle men night! Personally I like muscle men which is why I'm interested!

I'm confused.... so is it a bar, a hustler bar or a sauna? I'm pleased if it's a bar / hustler bar as little to do evening time sometimes.

why is 117 good for muscle on Tuesdays? I also prefer the location of 202... handy as most tourists are based here or Ipanema, so beach in day, 202 afternoon / early evening, Ipanema night-time can't wait till end of October for my next visit!

Which cinemas in particular and best times?

Would it still be a safe place to travel to if a coup happened? Would prices likely go up or down? (for food and drink etc)

I was speaking with a Brazilian friend who lives in Belo Horizionte last night, he's usually pretty sensitive and sad about the state of his country at the best of times. He was worried it might be the start of a military coup and was likening the situation to the Handmaid's Tale or Syria, Turkey or Egypt. Surely things aren't that bad? If there was a military coup, how would that likely affect tourists / visitors? I was looking to visit Rio in November and March?

OK, so it's better for me when the pound is strong against the real? So, 21 Feb £1 = $r4.52 and today it is £1 = $r4.88. So today I would get more reals for my GBP as the £ is stronger? I might move to Wall Street now I've the hang of it!

How is the Real against GBP? and what's it been like over the past few years? I can never really understand what I should be looking for on exchange rates!

A few months back in 202 and 117, I met an Irish guy who told me a few years back he would bring Aussiebum underwear to give to the guys and they would give him tricks for free? Do the guys go for this? I'd happily bring and pay for fun with branded underwear if the guys are after this.

Do you like muscular guys / muscle worship? Where are the best places you've been for it? Me - Prague, London and Rio! Though Tawan bar was great watching the bodybuilders dance all night for your pleasure

Cool... I've only visited Bkk once. Have you been - it's kinda of hit and miss to find muscle guys there, well competition ones anyway. Brazil much better!

I like the idea of underwear modelling for sure! Think I'll stick to the usual saunas... always struck lucky. I have been to Tawan bar in Bangkok and that does attract competition bodybuilders from all over when a competition is in town.
