Cartagena is a great place to visit. Lots of places to visit in the day and night. The local beaches aren't too good - but there are plenty of day trips to better beaches you can book. Most involve a boat ride to them. Easy to arrange in town by taking recommendations from your host or visiting the port. If travelling alone I wouldn't arrange an overnight stay at a beach resort as you'd likely miss the nightlife of Cartagena. Pretty easy to meet locals in bars and grindr etc - and I found many Colombians liked older guys.

I'm not precious about the blond hair and blue eyes, I just remember the guy recommending it as a good place to visit. I'm just looking to go back to Brazil but add something new to my trip - so any suggestions are most welcome. So Recife or Salvador - which would be better mid week in October? Any accomodation tips ok on bringing guys back?

Hey guys I am looking to visit in October for about two weeks and looking to visit Rio and then move onto one or two other places. I'm after some ideas on where to go! I usually go Rio for the beaches in the day, saunas evening, and bars/clubs in the night. Sao Paulo I usually just do the bars and clubs. So looking for something different. Any suggestions on places to visit where I can go beach in the day and GP saunas? Maybe find a companion for a day or two. I can remember speaking to a German guy off here in 117 (or was it 202) a few years back and he recommended visiting somewhere in Southern Brazil I think, he said the guys were often blond with blue eyes, and the GP saunas were good. Any ideas what city this was? Many thanks in advance

Cheers. I’ve visited São Paulo before and will be staying a few blocks away from Eagle. So certainly some nights I’ll do Hot House followed be Eagle. Didn’t find Eagle that cruise last time but maybe I had left too early as I was using it for pre drinks start if night. I like Hotel Chilli if you like cruisy places. I’ll try Upgrade this time too. Any recommendations for bars / clubs for daddies / bears looking for younger?

I’m arriving in Rio next Tuesday (11th) and tbd following week I’ll be in São Paulo. Anyone know of anything happening in town whilst I’m there - day or night? Cultural or fun! New bars or clubs? Or if you’re in town and want coffee or a beer hit me up.

Sorry I just saw this. Most of the guys I meet will not be after cash. I’ll usually pay for drinks and activities though if it’s clear I’m earning more money than the guy though.

I’ve been here a few times as I usually stay in the Ibis up the road. It’s a friendly bar and beforehand guys will be drinking beer at the bars outside. Don’t think I’ve ever seen lots of hot young guys looking for daddy’s though! - think I’ve struck lucky once or twice. Might be good place to meet young guy off Grindr to check him out.

Hi Anyone in Rio during February? Let me know if anyone fancy’s meeting up for a beer. Also, anyone have any current listings of bars, cruise bars and clubs (or know a website, blog or instagram page) - will want something to do other than sauna visits. Lastly, I remember a loooonnngggg time ago a guy writing about recommendations for beach massages. Any one have any tips and recommendations for a massage on the beach? Anything good to do in town in the day? Museums, exhibitions? Cheers

Hi all I have a trip to Cartagena and Bogota for June this year - hopefully I’ll be in Bogota for the Pride weekend (I think 22 June). Any suggestions for accommodation in Cartagena? I prefer hotels so hopefully someone can suggest a friendly guest policy hotel. Any suggestions on things to do in day and evening much appreciated. Bogota I’m familiar with but would appreciate some new hotel suggestions. I will be arriving in Cartagena early evening mid week. Will anyone be in town?
