I share your disgust for Biden and USA foreign policy, but you definitely are Putin's bitch. -

Well, Putin IS a war criminal. I understand abuses by soldiers on both sides, but policy is what makes a war criminal. You cannot defend Putin's systematic bombardment of civilian targets. You are right on pointing out to USA hypocrisy and double standards, but Putting is indefensible. -

I do not know the hook up and escorts market in Uruguay and Chile. In Argentina, Grindr works quite good for hook ups. For escorts, use soytuto.com, Onyce.com, and Skokka.com. You will find a lot of big dicks, but in Buenos Aires darker guys are less abundant. Check my reports, I already shared everything I know about the guys I have met.

Uruguay has no secondary city in July. If you were in summer, you would go to Punta del Este, a beach city. But in July, stay in Montevideo. I love the city, but it bores me quickly, it is not the endless all day long of fun of Buenos Aires. I insist on visiting Colonia del Sacramento, you can set it as a stop in your transit between the two capitals. It is an urban excursion, nothing to do with nature. Colonia is a city that changed flags several times during our many local wars, and a historical preserved town. The colonial fort is beautiful, the Spanish colonial architecture around is usually seen as exotic by Anglo-Saxon visitors, and you can have a very good parrillada in the many traditional restaurants. I would usually take a ship between Buenos Aires and Colonia, and a bus between Colonia and Montevideo. Argentina has two all year long secondary cities: Rosario and Córdoba. I would probably recommend you Córdoba, as it is the most contrasting difference with Buenos Aires, in landscapes as well as in culture. Even the Spanish accent is unique there, and it is a Mediterranean city. Rosario is just another Buenos Aires in a smaller version. If you were visiting in summer, you should go to Mar del Plata, the most popular Argentine beach city. In July, definitively go to Bariloche if you want the experience of a nordic European winter in South America. Even artisanal chocolate is delicious. There are several cities that may be interesting to visit: Mendoza (by the Andes and at the heart of Argentina wine country), Salta, Tucumán (the Argentina more similar to other Andean countries like Bolivia and Perú) in the Northwest, all cities with night life which seems to be what you are looking for. I do not know much about Chile. I understand their second city is Valparaíso but I have never been on the other side of the Andes.

In Buenos Aires and Montevideo winter is mild. When in the Rio de la Plata, I recommend a full day excursion to Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay. July is perfect to visit ski resorts, In Mendoza there are internationally famous locations, like Los Penitentes. If you want to experience the Argentina that looks like Switzerland, visit San Carlos de Bariloche. The city worths at least a whole weekend. It is built by a beautiful mountain lake, the Lago Nahuel Huapi. It is a protected natural area. You can sail to Isla Victoria, where the legend says What Disney was inspired to create Bambi. If you want to run away from the cold, Argentine North is subtropical trending tropical. Although the rivers in the Mesopotamia are experiencing record lows, Parque Nacional Iguazú it is always beautiful. Do you like desert landscapes? Visit The Northwest, near Bolivia. Salta and Jujuy have amazing natural environments.

Domestic airfares in Brazil - why so expensive?
Latbear4blk replied to speedoo1's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
I do not know Brazil well, but in Argentina air fares are significantly more expensive than buses, and the long distance buses industry flourishes. It is actually the most popular option even amongst middle class travelers. For instance, to travel between Buenos Aires and Corrientes by bus, it takes about 12 hours. By plane is just a couple of hours, but the price is three times more expensive at least. When I was short of funds, I would take the bus and sleep all over the trip. The buses leave Buenos Aires early in the evening and arrive to Corrientes early in the morning. Of course, you have different quality services, the most expensive bus (still three times cheaper than tourist class in a plane) delivers an experience close to first class on a plane. Your seat gets horizontal to sleep, there is a stewardess, you have TV and streaming services, hot dinner and hot breakfast. Even now, I would not mind at all traveling in one of those buses. Perhaps Brazil is similar, although longer distances and more population help to developed an air travel industry much more significant than Argentina. -

Curious what happened to the Russian invasion thread?

I bet you are American, @reader . At least when I insinuated it earlier on in this very thread you did not correct me. Even if you are not American, you act typically like one. It is so American to become passionate enemies of foreigner monsters, criticizing them for everything they themselves have done, and continue doing. It is so American to denounce human rights violations in other countries when themselves are master human rights violators; to become offended at invasions while being occupiers; to find political prisoners everywhere, while hiding their own; to preach nuclear non proliferation when they have been the only ones actually going beyond the threats and incinerating innocent civilians in mass. If you are not an American fitting in this stereotype, forum friends, I am not talking about you. But the rest of the world knows very well these stereotypical Trumpian clowns parading the world with their hypocritical superiority. None in Gayguides (the other forum is filled with these characters) has demonstrated this iconic caricature of Americans as @readerhas. Putin is a horrible monster. It is sad when other horrible monsters feel better about themselves by pointing fingers. I cannot disagree more with @tassojunior in most political issues, if not in all. I also disagree with him on this. But your passion, @reader, says very little about how wrong he is, and a lot about how dirty your American conscience is. Of course, I may be wrong. Perhaps you have shown in the past the same passion to condemn innocent civilian lives and abuses of weaker nations by the USA. I doubt it, you justified the human annihilation (let's hope you do think Asians are human) in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, you are probably similarly blind at other atrocities committed by your own tribe. But if I am wrong, and you have in the past called out USA's massacres and abuses, I do apologize. -

Additionally, we may be suffering inflation in air fares in general. My flight tickets to Buenos Aires are this year 500 dollars more expensive than last year. -
Buenos Aires Recommendations
Latbear4blk replied to fitboynyc's topic in Latin America Men and Destinations
For those of you looking for the cultural experience when traveling internationally, I have a recommendation in Buenos Aires: https://www.pagina12.com.ar/406861-una-noche-en-el-puticlu I will visit in June/July. Although I have not yet been in the bar, I know the report's author and recognize the tradition in which he is framing his description. Trust me, this place seems to be a perfect sample of an experience only found in very few South American big metropolis. -

SALVADOR, BAHIA, Dec 22 to Jan 3

True. If you are staying by the beaches around the tip of the peninsula, the ride to the historic area is actually shorter than to the closest sauna, and very much shorter than riding to Fox. And he would probably find that Fox worths more visits than the City. -

I am used to patriotic tribalism by Americans at Daddy's, but it is quite disappointing to find out that we cannot escape from it not even here. My stand is quite simple. Fuck the three superpowers. -

No. I mean that the USA think they are entitled to own the world. When they step in territory where there is another imperialist nation, we have clashes like this one. -

Curious what happened to the Russian invasion thread?
Latbear4blk replied to JKane's topic in Comments and Suggestions
We will never know that, because the US was the first AND ONLY nation in EIGHTY SEVEN YEARS to commit such atrocity. Of course, it helps you to think they would have done it, but it is just a conjecture. There were plenty of contemporaries astonished at the atrocity. Whether or not they were a few or many, a majority or a minority, is subject of debate. But if you "didn't hear any of them complaining", you were not listening. Of course no one would complain about the ending of a war, but the monstrosity committed by the USA had plenty of critics back then. I agree with the rest of your post. Putin is a piece of shit and his attack on Ukraine is absolutely repudiable. I support the UN declarations, and any other decisions coming from the UN General Assembly to stop Russia's expansionism and this abusive, inhumane war. But I have a hard time feeling any empathy for US leadership and their imperialist game in Eastern Europe. -

Justifying the nuclear attacks to Japan is shameful and dangerous. The USA has zero moral authority to preach about use of nuclear weapons, as they are the only nation that ever committed such atrocity. If those attacks were justifiable, any attack can also be. I hope none of the current national leaders is planning to save lives by massacring millions of foreign innocent civilians. According to you, it would be a highly commendable decision. -
