I haven’t been, i typed that from reading reports from others. I think people were hinting that you might get your wallet stolen, it is not organised like a sauna where you have a safe locker etc. And it is kind of a rough crowd, not sculpted bodies that look after themselves.

To be precise, it is technically legal in Brazil for many people (but not Americans) to have consensual unpaid sex with people that are 14. Though it is not my cup of tea, I love the saunas, myself. Still nothing to do with this thread about how many times in one day, though.

Well I hereby inform you all that when I use “sex with boys” on this forum, I mean guys over 18. This is the last time I explain. I won’t bother to reply to those who pretend not to understand. I think we need to have a rule on this forum: assume good faith = If there are multiple interpretation of what someone says, we should assume the most charitable interpretation of what was said (“he uses a word in a different way from me”), not the worst (“he is a pedophile and a criminal”). I mean, look at this thread. All the OP wanted was to know how many. Now the thread is about crime. Without that rule, this place is toxic, which is why I am only here when I really need to.

When you are over 40 it is natural to refer to guys under 25 as boys, there was no underage sex insinuation intended. And in Britain “I am going for a drink with the boys” just means you go out with you male friends, not that you are giving alcohol to minors. Boys doesn’t just mean “children” it is also frequently used to say “not girls”. To answer the question, i once had 7 different boys in Rio saunas on one day, but I only came 6 times. I was 44. Not sure I could do the same again!

I lived in HK for 2 years, and apart from the rent (which is horribly expensive) I will say that it is actually quite cheap, but only IF you know it well, if you know where to go. Tourists go to the obvious (and therefore trappy) places, but locals enjoy very cheap food, massages, beaches, taxis, and shopping in general. I was saving a huge amount of money every month when I was working there. And I was living like a king.

I pointed out “if you have an American passport” not because it matters what passport you hold when you are in NJ, but because it matters when you are in Brasil. American laws do not apply to Europeans in Brasil. But anyway. It seems you and @TotallyOz disagree about age of consent for non-commercial sex, for Americans when they are abroad,. Oz’s post says 18, your post says 16. Not that I am personally interested. But @numazu1 might be interested to tell his friend.

Interesting. I had no idea. Some of us are not an American, we don’t learn American law at school and it doesn’t apply to us What is interesting is that if you have an American passport, and live in NJ, the age of consent in NJ is 16, but it switches up to 18 when you go to a country that has a lower age of consent.

If you are just having sex (and not filming, nor paying for sex) then the age of consent is 14 in Brasil, so it seems very unlikely that you will find a guy that is not legal and not notice how young he is! If you are paying, then it is prostitution, in which case of course the guy has to be 18.

I have no idea why people can’t answer a question on face value and start fighting instead of giving their view and leaving it at that @moonwalker, I really don’t think you will have any problem. It will work in the same way as in the US, maybe even more easily: Just find a guy that your girlfriend finds attractive, on the beach, in a bar or in a club, and see if he speaks a bit of English, and start a conversation. You can use love hotels for the action, they are in all the key spots. If you really want to chose a guy from clube 117, it should be just as easy, most guys are bi or straight, so fucking a 25 yo girl is probably going to be offered for free. Or for R$50, which is less than US$15, if you could pay for the flight, you can afford that.

In Old San Juan there is a regular arrival of cruise ships full of people with lots of dollars and probably horny (because no gay escort on the cruise ship itself!). All the above by @Santiagodcis true, I can confirm. One more point: late at night (9:30 or 10pm) you should expect to find only 2 guys left at most. At 10 pm you are likely to be the last client. Not recommended, because of the limited choice, and the tired boys.

Actually I think I might have been wrong here above. I was thinking about it after Oz mentioned “haggling” and I realised I actually never haggled either. I just have to show some hesitation in accepting their 150 price and they offer less right away. I never actually “asked”. They just know they are asking more than the usual, so my hesitation is sufficient to make them realise that I know what the price should be.

I agree I often get quoted 150, then I ask for less and they say 120, rarely 100. I then give him 150 anyway because he provided a good service, or even 200 when I have just momentarily fallen in love. Unless the guy was terrible, in which case I pay the minimum agreed, not because I am cheap, I don’t care about R$50, but I care about not encouraging the guys who provide bad service.
