  1. I am not here to pour petrol on the fire, but I am under the distinct impression (from friends here in Colombia) that they are not processing any Colombian visa applications currently, with no proper date when proscessing will reume. TL;dr if your friend needs a new application, the wait could take years.
  2. No se olvida de mi poder. Jajajaja perhaps it’s a reminder that I need to update these listings again for 2026. There is a new club in El Poblado and the club that @neyger referenced has expanded in El Centro.
  3. Insider tip (may not apply to your situation): Canadians must pay a Visitor Visa fee upon entry. The only two kiosks at El Dorado that have the payment machines for credit cards are the first two when you enter customs. Go into the line marked Diplomáticos. Explain you are Canadian and they will process you. I am usually through within 10 minutes of disembarking.
  4. Club 55 no longer has masajista service. Club Atlanta sits on a stretch of Avenida Playa that is pretty rough these days, lot of drug dealing and homeless on that block. I doubt they draw much of a crowd currently, but I haven’t been this year. Everything else is pretty much the same in January 2025.
  5. Hahaha well played, sir. ¡Feliz año nuevo!
  6. Hard to say, since the number of paisa boys turning tricks on the the side is pretty significant. The "elite" escorts of Medellín do not actually advertise in Mileroticos. They have regular clientele (Medellín being an important center for music and film production) that keep them paid, fed and well dressed. You honestly need to have an "in" to get in contact with these boys. For example, I stumbled across this yesterday and recognize two faces from this elite group in this list of Colombian OF creators. The article is in Spanish.
  7. Adding a note to #4 & #5: Credit card use is odd, since they are supposed to record your ID with use. Generally in restaurants and bars, they don't care. Will run the card (add the 10% service fee) and you are on your way. However in retail stores and service companies, they will almost always ask for your ID. You can show them the photocopy or photo on your phone, but what they need is the six-digit passport number for tax purposes. So if you memorize that number, generally you are okay to use your CC for retail.
  8. A: I would suggest the rate of disponsible Grindr listings in El Poblado, particularly on the weekends Th-Sat, is higher than in Bogotá. Medellín has become the hot spot this year, and the volumes of foreign tourists looking for a good time in that neighbourhood drives up demand for these services. During the weekend that ratio is as high as 20% of Grindr listings in El Poblado barrio. A: Yes, with one exception. Sauna Atlanta is becoming problematic because that zona is in decline. I would avoid this place as a first timer. On the flipside, La Casona has become popular and more reliable. A: Yes. That hotel is in the heart of the commercial zone of El Poblado. You are very safe to walk along Avenida Poblado (Carrera 43a) 24 hours a day, I have done it hundreds of times. It is mostly deserted after 9pm. Just keep your eyes open and be aware of your surroundings. Stay along this main road, as the side streets, while quicker, are not straight grids, so easy to get lost if you are unfamiliar with the city. It is an easy 15 minute walk and you will get to know your surroundings and local performers-vendors. A: Combining these or we'll be here all day. Cash is accepted everywhere and is preferred. Just be certain you have understood the final cost (many will show you on a calculator) before you hand over money. That way they know you are expecting change. Unfortunately, the side effect of building a playground for gringos in one of the wealthiest barrios is that scams are gonna pop up. FWIW I use a no fee credit card that does not charge foreign exchange fees for 90% of my purchases. Bars will generally allow you to run a tab, just agree to that up front. You are able to use tap payment, but know that you are likely to be hit with a double service fee. Technically yes, ID is required before serving alcohol. It is seldom that it is enforced, but has happened to me in some establishments. To enter other premises -- like a sauna, nightclub, etc. No, it is not required that you show ID, however you must have a copy of your ID with you at all times under Colombian law. A photocopy or an image on your phone will suffice. However, to rent a hotel room or motel, you must has your original paperwork or they can refuse you entry. Use your passport as your ID since they are familiar with the format. Have also used my driver's license as ID, but am able explain in Spanish what they are looking at and what each section represents. A: You will hear both used motel and moteles, both are understood culturally to refer places to have sex. They are very safe by design -- guests enter through a reception area (or parking lot), non-guests would be prevented by the secure doors in place. These places are generally secure, and no, a third party could not just casually enter. You are expected to enter and leave as a couple. None in my experience will allow one person to leave until they have physically confirmed the well-being of the other party. Regarding same-sex couples, there are many that have not issues with same-sex couples, however others here have reported denials in the moteles along La Avenida Colombia around the stadium. I would reach out on WhatsApp and confirm before going -- that way you have a screen shot of the confirmation. Hopefully that helps to get you started. Am certain others here have many suggestions to share around hiring and rates for escorts in la cuidad de la primavera eterna. Good luck.
  9. Buen trabajo, me encantó tu perspectiva.
  10. He is in his early 40's, most definitely can perform for long sessions. He escorts on the side, having discovered his bisexual side later in life, and really enjoys what he does. Is best known for organizing gangbang sessions if that is your particular fetish.
  11. 1. The gentleman's ad indicates that he is passing through the city. The rate of 400K COP is basically 100$ USD converted -- you can guess how he came up with that figure. So I suspect he would be open to negotiation -- given that he is priced out of the local market. I doubt he has any locals accepting that rate. 2. There are no shortage of male "massage" services in Medellin. Many offer "extras" but you will need to indicate your interest ahead of time -- most want to be prepared. And there are several that advertise that only offer massage -- no extras, so know before you go. Grindr is littered with "massage" services as well. Be certain that they are set up with an actual massage room/studio before you agree. Many are just offering rub and tug services. If you want to play it safe, both Abybos Spa and SpaMed33 offer "full" service massages. I found my current guy online in a community bulletin board-- he is in in the north in Aranjuez, so I doubt most here would make the trip to his studio. Good luck!
  12. His choice, not mine, and I am not comfortable using OP’s government names here.
  13. You could also reach out to Mandingo (search him by name on MIleroticos) who is very tall, mega hung, and will fuck you senseless. He is in town until next Monday. Also has an equally well hung buddy if you are into threesomes. Super nice guy, takes his sex seriously.
  14. My impression, others may have different experiences, is that the Rent.men escorts will insist on at least $100USD to start. Many will begin at $150 for a session. A number have regular clientele that keep their bank account full so they can afford to be picky. The OnlyFans scene also means many don’t have to do escorting anymore (looking at you Alejo Ospina). Because of the tourism boom, there are plenty of performers and circuit escorts that hit town, so check the ads when you arrive. There are several guys that do one week stints in Medelln before moving on.
  15. Okay in that case, getting a local +57 Colombian telephone number, you will need to go in person to Tigo, Claro or Movistar. You will require a passport to activate the plan. There are plenty of different plans to choose from.
  16. They don't, but to @floridarob point, all have protocols in place. Many will ask to see your room key when entering the lobby --no key, see ya! The larger hotels use cards to access the elevator which is easier to bypass. You likely will have better luck in Bogotá where the vigilance is slightly less. In Medellín, particularly in El Poblado and surrounding zonas (Manila, Castropol, Provenza, Las Lomas, etc) they are looking for any hint of sex tourism. So the first visit might be okay, the second and the third? The front desk staff will be in your business. Chisme is the national sport, it won't take long for the staff to all know what you are up to. As noted, they have seen it all, and just want to avoid any drama.
  17. The issue was privacy of sharing phone number, but yes, WhatsApp is imperative in Colombia and almost all of Latin America. Most contacts — from pharmacy to Scorts — takes place on WhatsApp. fwiw
  18. Thanks @Chucky agreed. @Canadianbtmguy if you prefer, send me a DM and. I can connect you with some alternative options. You didn’t note your working level of Spanish. Do know that is a real differentiator in Medellín. Despite a growing foreign tourism boom, they are just catching up with demand for English language services. If you are comfortable with Spanish, I can make some introductions. Your move.
  19. This ^^ is absolutely true. On the weekends you will get a smorgasbord of stunning listings that will be "new" to you. At least 30% of these are escorts. This is not a bad option when you are there.
  20. @Chucky is locally based in Medellín and offers sound advice and insights. As I have posted here in the past, the scene in Medellín is a tougher nut to crack for the first timer. From the trip duration and expectations you described, I am going to suggest you organize a couple of encounters with Rent.men rather than chase down the local happenings. Once you are in contact, ask those guys if they can recommend other scorts with your desired attributes. Most of those escorts have connections with the guys they do threesomes (and more-somes) with, and will have short list of recommended providers. Since the Mileroticos listing left you cold, I would also suggest checking back. Many of the scorts on offer travel around Colombian cities, or even do the circuit of Mexico-Panama-Colombia. So new listings are frequent, plus the Mileroticos algo is weird, does not always show the newest listings. Try searching the city listing using heights, starting with your minimum of 180cm. Good luck.
  21. Going to suggest pre-purchasing an eSIM online. Only because the process in Colombia is overly complicated and involves much waiting around for your turn. https://esim.holafly.com/esim-colombia Alternately, if you would prefer to deal with someone face-to-face, there are dozens of eSIM sellers advertised all along Calle 10 in El Poblado, Medellín. They are very likely to be able to offer service in English as well. Expect to pay gringo pricing. For comparison, I currently pay 54000COP for unlimited data and North American calling (Movistar). Your eSIM for one month should be right around half that amount -- 24000 - 28000 COP. Enjoy you trip -- and please keep sharing any restaurant reviews.
  22. @Canadianbtmguy Haven't used them recently but they are still in service. I suspect that they have moved locations again, but that is just a guess. Reach out to them on Telegram and I am certain they will respond with the current catalogue available. The website has not been updated in years.
  23. @Latbear4blk thanks for this note. Just glanced at Insta tonight and forgot — you will be in Medallo for la Alborada, the official start to the holiday season on the evening of November 30. The skies will ight up with fireworks, the miradores will be packed with crowds, and everyone will be outside with the music turned up to watch the show. The party goes late so get your disco nap in that day.
  24. Hey, just say this post for the first time now. May I suggest searching the Colombia form for "Bogota" https://www.gayguides.com/forum/101-gay-colombia/ You have already found the business listings, but plenty of members have shared their Bogotá experiences, far beyond the mandatory night out at Theatrón. Happy hunting.
