I saw this update: It's confirmed - the festival runs from Nov 9 to Dec 23, 2025! This year, there will be no fireworks, but a stunning drone light show will light up the sky in honour of Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Main show location: Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) Showtime: Around 7:50 PM, with an extra 9:15 PM show on select nights The festival will feature nightly light displays and riverside activities a calmer yet beautiful celebration along the Chao Phraya River.

There are plenty. Definitely in Saphan Khwai area, though I don't have first hand experience since those are not my type but plenty of Trip reports here points to that area along with recommendesd Massage shops. I believe they have in lower range in Tips like 1000-1500. There are also some massage shops with Twinky to hunky type in Silom Soi 6 like Paradise, 9-teen, nature, etc. that I always passby when I was staying in The Quarter Silom hotel couple of years back. In Arena, If I remembered correctly aside from the actual cost of the 1.5hrs aromatherapy session, I believe the minimum tips is 1000 bath for 1hr session. I'm giving around 1500 to 2000 tips to the therapist, depends on how satisfied I am. For Arena, there are no twinks, only hunks and some on the mature muscly types. The manager/mama-san there is very helpful if there is something in particular you are looking from a therapist.

Ayutthaya Historical tour and Death Railway tour in Ratchaburi were one of the things I missed during my last visit this past April. I didn't know cruising back to Bangkok by boat is also an option. Thank you for your Trip review, it gave me more ideas where to go and what to do on my next trip. 😁

Woah 😳 good for you. When you said with glasses I immediately thought of Dee. When I was there last May I was not able to see Dee even once at all 😐. Had a pleasure to have him on my previous visits, he was always the one I chose for majority of that time and he really does not disappoint. He's so gentle and humble yet will drill you hard and rough when you asks him to 😁. He's one of the veterans of original Tawan of the yesteryears. I have been to Beef a couple of times when they were still in their old location in Soi 4, now they are in Silom Edge but I haven't been yet. It's a dance club more on socializing catering to bears and those who appreciates them 😍. They have themed nights too and some events, loved their K-POP nights it was so fun. 💯 Agreed. Each and every one has different types that appeals to them. All comes down to individual taste how one's experience will be affected by one's criteria. One may have great experience as it matches his type/desire while other may get a disappointment of a lifetime. I'm sure somewhere in Bangkok/Thailand will have something to offer that fits exactly what you are looking for, or you maybe already have found one. Day 12 - The Conclusion - Day of Departure to Suvarnabhumi to Hamad International AM: went for the usual breakfast in the hotel, then right after went to the reception desk at the 5th floor to request a late checkout until 1400hrs which they said No problem, really appreciated it as my flight still at 20:00hrs, so I went out and did bit last minute shopping in the nearby Donki in Thaniya and 7-11 to see if I miss any other I interesting finds I can add for my souvenir collection which by the way already quite a haul. I returned to the hotel around 11:55 back to the reception to make sure my key is still working until 1400. From 12:00-14:00 I have spent fitting all the things I scavenge on my large bag and made sure the weight is still within the limits set by Qatar Airways while fixing myself up. Checked out by 14:00 and stored my luggage with the reception. During that time I'm still deliberating to go for a last massage session in Arena or go for Lunch. PM: Of course in the end I chose Arena, reached 14:30 and taken an cream scrub and oil massage for 90mins at THB890 this time. Both of my previous masseurs are not in attendance this afternoon but I found and chose the Hunk with nice pecs from Arena's stable of men. But I forgot his name though, I just remembered his tattoo that I think was a koi fish. The scrub and the oil massage was so-so, and the extras are acceptable hehehe. Full 90mins was used and I'm quite satisfied with him so I've given him THB2000. I left Arena around 16:00hrs and was able to collect my luggage from the hotel, then started my journey to Suvarnabhumi Airport via the local trains. I arrived exactly by 17:00 did a smart check in and headed to the self luggage drop counter. Afterwards I continued to proceed to the saddest place on earth for me. The dreaded escalator which heads towards Departures area. As soon as I ride this fucking escalator, I can't help but reminiscence my adventures here in Thailand. Reminiscing my days as a sightseeing tourist taking selfies in every stop for anything I find interesting. And of course my nights of whoring. Nights of fun ogling boys at the bars, my massage adventures in Arena, first time I set my eyes on T in Atlas and the nights of pure bliss spent with him in the privacy of my room. Why does good things comes to an end? Well not totally since I can still come back next year but still there are these uncertainties that comes with it. Will my boys still be there next time, will my favorite bar Atlas survive another year? Anyway at least I'm looking forward to my next trip to Thailand since there are still places I wanted to visit and bars I wanted to try. Then there is Pattaya scene too. Ohhh I also wanted to see at least once the infamous Patpong Ping Pong show next time even if it will scar me mentally for life hahahaha I wanted to see it with you guys if there will be a chance for emotional support 🤣🤣🤣 Now I reached Qatar after 6 1/2 hours of flight, I'm writing this last part of my trip report, a conclusion, here at the Hamad International Airport while lying down on one of the benches here in The Orchard part of the airport waiting for the final leg of my journey my connecting flight towards Dubai. Hoping on my next visit there will be a chance to meet you guys in person, though please bear in mind that I'm a bit of a bore. Hahaha I've been visiting Thailand, Bangkok in particular every April for the last 3 years as this I consider a birthday treat for me. And Bangkok never let me down even once. Maybe I'll try to visit in colder season of the year next time. Who knows? Thank you guys for reading my trip report, it's almost like a diary, parts boring parts to explicit. I've been drafting/writing all my post through my mobile only, so thank you guys for being very forgiving for any errors.
