I have never been to Pattaya either but have been to Bangkok many times. Every time when I tried to make plans for Pattaya, I read some info that says it is great destination for twink lover, and couldn't find much info about other non-twink types(which I prefer). Then I decided to stay in Bangkok only.

If you want to be in the middle of action, you should stay in Surawong/Silom area. The higher end choice is Le Meridien. Tarntawan is also a popular choice thought a bit older. But cheaper price can compensate that. And there is a newcomer Ibis Styles on Silom Rd seems good and close to both actions and BTS station.

I see it is listed under some OTA sites (such as KKday), so I wouldn't expect there would be something more than massage. But if I really like him, I might still give a try.

From the venues you listed, I think we have similar taste. I would also recommend Sabaidee Spa.

I checked the review after seeing your comment. It is indeed kind of rude. They should hire someone to do those social media things.

I also recommend Arena. Last time when I was there there were plenty of choices of that type.
