I have an overnight layover coming up in Taipei and it will be my first time in Taiwan, do we have any members with some info on the scene in Taipei? I have some notes that the Red House & Ximending district is where the gay clubs and bars are located, but that's about all I know so far. Aside from the apps, are there full service massage shops, saunas, or host bars / gogos that I should look into? A short summary. I am in HK for a short trip with my family and only have an opportunity for 1 session. After some research, I narrowed down to Ed*n and Ch*ll Sp* since they have some photos of their masseurs (face blurred) on their telegram channel. It's a fairly large place for Hong Kong and seems to be popular with locals in the 30-40s range. I also tried to visit the Big Top sauna in Kowloon. For a city that has some of the most crowded parts of our planet housed in a vast number of high rise buildings, major fires in Hong Kong have been relatively uncommon. Yesterday afternoon, though, a massive one broke out spread out over seven tower blocks in the Tai Po district not far from the China border. 44 have been killed including one fireman and 279 remain unaccounted for. After an action packed three days in Bangkok described elsewhere, I went to Taiwan with my Bangkok FWB for five days and stayed another two on my own. It was my first visit to Taiwan. We had a great time. We stayed at a hotel near Xinbeitou where we could fill the very large tub with water directly from the hot springs. Gs Guy Hostel in Taipei sadly closed quite recently. It had single rooms in addition to various types of dorm rooms, open showers and a sort of suggestion that walking around naked was encouraged. Annoyingly agoda still adertises it on its list of hotels. When you try to make a booking it quotes "Just Missed It", which is probably true but actually misleading.
