Tawan Forever

I just ignore the information sheet, walk past the reception with the big boys from Tawan, who I'm sure they would see often and know why they are there, as the location is so close. Smiles and greetings all round as we walk by.... I do carry my booking confirmation which states a room for 2 guests, if they want to try charging me extra for the time there are 2 guests they better be ready with a discount for all the times there is only myself in the room! So far, no dramas, touch wood!

I love Siam Heritage, stay there most visits. A very quick walk to Tawan, and Patpong, nice and close for the boys to come back to. No hassles from the front desk. Nice spacious rooms, outdoor pool and great gym, full of old school clunky equipment for serious workouts, and they don't care what you wear (or don't wear) while doing it! Last visit I was mid workout, shirtless, when a beautiful African guest joined in, but not before stripping down to the tightest, tiniest, bright red par of speedos to work up a sweat on the treadmill right in front of me.... very distracting indeed!

BEEF is a great place if you are into very overweight young guys. I went hoping there would be some bigger built guys, stocky, with a bit of underlying muscle, alas no! I was the oldest in the room, felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. You get 2 drink tickets for your entry fee. I used one on entry, finished my drink and gave the other away so I could escape to my regular venues.

Oh it's a big niche, the guys there are fight crazy, maybe the influence of Muay Thai culture. I should mention that besides a huge active community on Meetfighters, the big guys at Tawan will wrestle it you tip them well But for those interested in Banana State, it is totally amazing, right down to the giant neon half peeled banana out the front! If you have seen any erotic wrestling videos lately featuring Asian fighters it was most likely shot at Banana, there is a huge amount being made there, the venue is easily recognisable to those who know it. There are several themed rooms, multiples of each, a Jungle Room, The Love Boat Room, and the Star Wars room (the mind boggles) The Boxing room is the most popular and you often have to wait for a vacancy, it's everything you expect in a hotel room, bar fridge, Tv, aircon, but with giant bathroom with full wall mirrors and tub built for several. A full size heavy boxing bag is suspended from the ceiling, boxing gloves supplied, and a massive boxing/wrestling ring. It has a great lighting rig, for arena style lighting, but dimmable for something more sexy. Inset into the ring floor is the bed mattress, strip the bedding and fight, make the bed and spend the night. (you can book the room for 4 hours or overnight) So, you drive up the multi levels, each room has a carport in front of it (walls each side of the car) You pull into the carport in front of the style of room you want, a guy appears instantly and pulls a curtain screen across the back of your car to hide it. You enter the unlocked room, after a few moments there is a knock and a hatch opens, a hand extends and you put the room fee in the hand, that's it, no passports, no check in, no faces ever seen!...and all just across from a lovely family mall! There truely is no place like Thailand!!!

You need to use Meetfighters better! I am an underground wrestler and visit BKK 3 times a year just to wrestle. Get all my matches off MF. I assure you there are plenty of big guys that fight rough there. I have several regulars that keep me coming back. The "boxing room" at Banana State fantasy hotel gets plenty of action.A must for anyone into wrestling and fight fetish

Full boring story: I was obese all through school, the fat guy no one wanted on their team. As soon as I left school the fat dropped off, I put it down to stress and teen hormones holding the fat while at school. I was now 60kg with size 28 inch waist. I looked painfully thin and sick when I look back at pics. I held this into my 30's... then I decided to build. I developed a decent physique but stalled at 80kg. At 40 I decided to do it properly, I tried various ways of eating, various ways of working out, till I found what my body responded to the best. Nearly 20 years later I am 96kg, constantly asked if I compete, get looks and comments everywhere I go, and have to swat off every twink and twunk any time I go out. I will disclose that I am on prescribed testosterone replacement therapy, as I was starting to lose muscle mass. It is a fraction of what bodybuilders take to grow (4ml every 8 weeks, Bodybuilders take that, and more in 1 week to grow) I've lived a life in every body type, and I know which one I prefer...I'm going to hold onto it as long as I can. To get back on topic, if these guys are trading as Muscle Bars they need to have some muscle!

Could be, but doubtful. I was there around 10pm and back again after 12 midnight...I can't imagine a huge crowd stampeding in and out again rustling up all the prime beef before and after my visits. I do hope I'm wrong, but......

I would, my body is way better than 10 years ago, and improves every year... Age is no excuse, I am approaching 60 and my motto still stands: Never stop growing!

I don't mind a Twunk for viewing pleasure, but none remotely like that post on my 2 nights

My first attempt at a report here, please go easy me! I just returned from my latest trip to BKK, and my first trip since Atlas opened, I was very keen to check out the new competition to Tawan. It was a Friday night, the scene was quite busy, the outside of Atlas looks very impressive, modern, my anticipation was rising. I entered to find a very large and well appointed venue, with one customer, and 6 very ordinary looking guys on stage, 4 skinny fat, and 2 beefy (the beefy were a possibility failing all else) certainly no muscle. These guys looked totally bored, hardly looked at us, could not even raise a smile, not even interacting with each other.The other customer finished his beer and left, that left me the only customer, being totally ignored and feeling rather awkward. I called one of the staff over and interviewed them for a bit, I was told there would be no show and assured that Saturday night would be crowded! I wished them luck and headed to my beloved Tawan Bar... There I was greeted with smiles and guys asking me to flex, and flexing at me. The place was reasonably crowded, I was given my table in prime position. The guys ranged from twinks, to beefy, to real muscle. There were at least 4 guys that I would consider, one a very cute young guy with some good firm tight muscle, he will grow well if he wants to, and one bodybuilder just recently from winning several titles. He saddled up to me, was very attentive and spoke reasonable English. The guys on stage still look bored, and still using their phones, but they do at least look up, smile, and interact if you catch their eye. They also have fun and give cheek with each other on stage and with the staff in the audience. This gives the place the fun friendly vibe that was totally lacking in Atlas. Come Saturday night I returned to Atlas, same disinterested guys, no audience, so again no show....So it was back to the fun and frivolity of Tawan, where the place was busier than the night before, the guys even more attentive to see my return, and my bodybuilder guy got an excursion to my hotel I think I will give Atlas the new name of Alas.... I am totally at a loss why anyone would open a bar in direct completion to a long established venue and not only copy but surpass all that is wrong with the original! Both bars need a huge revamp (Oh god I could get these places heaving!) but Atlas is not going to survive if they don't act soon! Oh well, at least I don't have to change my user name

I have been, not impressed. I was the oldest, and smallest in the room (and that's pretty hard with my build)... the problem is that they were not big in a good way. Basically a bar full of young overweight guys... I'll stick with the bulked muscle guys at Tawan and Atlas You are not alone!...Solid-arity!

Being 57 with a bodybuilder physique I get plenty of attention from all shapes, sizes, and ages, but particularly young twinks (unfortunately not my type at all) wanting a built daddy! My apps chime away 24/7 when I go to a new region. I do not need to pay for sex at all, it's on tap... if I wanted it! BUT, I have certain criteria about the types of guys I WANT to be swapping sweat with.... These types are similar build to me and few and far between. So when in Thailand I head straight to Tawan, ex The One (yet to get to Atlas) to get my hands on the biggest most muscled bodybuilder type I can find. I am very happy to pay to spend my time with this type of body, which is not readily available in everyday life. These guys seem to really enjoy sharing time with someone similar and fuss over me terribly, I always take posing trunks that may not be my size, style or colour and during our fun give them as a gift, which they really appreciate.. (I've actually seen some wearing them in competition pics, huge thrill for me) In short I pay to have sex with the type of body I like, that is not readily available, and I feel good that I have helped finance their bodybuilding journey...It's not cheap!

Now get the internet presence happening... In search engines they barely exist! Looking forward to checking this out on my next visit!

Very interesting... I would like to think Tawan will pick up it's game and we have 2 bars. But I do like Arthur, the new manager at Tawan is a shark. If Arthur has the cream of the crop I may have to change my profile name!

It's an interesting night to be there, I've been there twice on this occasion. No bars or alcohol anywhere, I never enquired at the hotel, I'm not really there to drink... I just used it as a rest and relaxation night

I'm still shocked that every BKK local I spoke to thought it was still closed all these months later... A situation easy fixed if they popped a few posts on their socials (Should have been saturation for the reopening) I may have to go over and manage the place myself!

They still do the "first to cum" bit, which I could do without, but zero penetration, including orally. Silom Serene Boutique Hotel is another great stay, just across the street at the other end of the lane Tawan is on. Nice pool. very well equip gym, wear what you want Yes, Muscle Factory is a must for those into hardcore workouts amongst the fellow big boys! I sweat it out there a few times per visit.... and I mean SWEAT as it is completely without air conditioning! As a soft westerner I could not do daily workouts there, but the viewing is great!

I had a little too much "fun" during the days, but went to the bar to support them and just enjoy the view... there were 2 guys I was tempted to off (and try to find the stamina) and was on the verge of taking one, but someone else snapped him up first. I was kind of relieved

I discovered this forum when Tawan Bar closed and I was looking for info. I have since been lurking, but having just returned from my latest BKK stay felt I should report for those with any concerns about our beloved bar. Firstly I have visited BKK twice a year, every year since 2013. I stay for 1 week and spend most nights in Tawan (as it will always be known to me) I don’t bother with any other bar as I am into big muscle only! On my first visits to Tawan 11 years ago, in the original venue across the road, there was a DJ who provided cheeky sound effects to what the guys were doing on the stage, along with quips and comment throughout the show. This made it all so much more lively and fun than what it has become. The shows themselves were far more hardcore and sexual. They could certainly revive some of these features today. Fast forward to my visit last week, 3 nights in the bar. I am happy to report it is the same beast that she has been of recent years. if not of it's former glory. On night one the boys were few and not the greatest quality, but there were 2 I would consider my type. The crowd was very small, I did have concerns for its future. The 2nd and 3rd nights the place was packed with boys, there were 3-4 that would work for me, and it was a full crowd. A much brighter picture all round! There were enough different body types to appeal to all tastes, several off season bodybuilder types for me to choose from Thankfully the guys are still as friendly and welcoming as ever, it does help that I have a muscled build (yes that is me in my avatar) and they never fail to swarm around me and give me extra attention! As much as I love the place it does have many faults, all easily fixed, and would make it a far better experience: - The new manager is too pushy, trying to get you to drink more, and insisting ion a 150B tip each round just for bringing them.Also demanding tips during parts of the show quite forcefully. On one night I watched uncomfortably as he plied a young obviously drunk customer with more drinks, trying over and over to force boys onto the customer, as well as himself. This guy needed to be sent home and instead he was getting his wallet siphoned. - The boys looking bored on stage, faces stuck in phones pre and after show, this does nothing to generate interest or enthusiasm. Phones should be banned on stage! Give the boys something to do, if they have a skill or hobby it would be great seeing them doing it on stage. Solving a Rubik’s Cube, jumping rope, dribbling a ball, doing a few dumbbell curls…. anything but standing there bored! (the guy next to me asked if this was the show when they were up there with faces in phones!) - Get rid of the drag from the show… this is not the right venue or audience for drag, we are there to see MEN! - The shows need to be more hardcore (if allowed) Although I did have a laugh during the “BDSM” show when one was whipping the other with a thick foam tube, it made a hell of a noise, but certainly delivers no pain…yet 2 separate guys left covering their eyes in horror, bless em And bring back the cheeky DJ with the fun commentary through the show. - Advertising… ZERO! This is crazy, particularly after the reopening! If anyone knows the management and can speak fluently PLEASE get them off their ass and do some publicity! Twitter, Insta, Facebook, Tic Tok, ad noisome are all free. Tawan Bar has a page on each, all have been neglected for years, They need to get a few posts up a few times a month. They have been open 20+ years and no one I talk to in Australia knows they exist! On top of that every local I spoke to while there thought it was still closed and were shocked led when I said Id been going every night! This bar has the potential to be so much more successful with just a few tweaks… It remains my favourite bar and I hope to see it thrive into the future!
