Sunday I had intended to do some sightseeing but got up later than intended and the sky looked pretty dark, so I stayed in the hotel. Eventually it did rain heavily but I could probably have gone out and got back before it did. Before dusk the weather cleared up and I did get to see the Giant Buddha at Wat Pho so I feel like I ticked off something cultural.
Sunday night I had decided I liked the sound of the foam party at Sauna Mania. Again this was my first time there and I had heard there could be long queues and arrived in plenty of time, to no queue at all, although there were plenty of guys in there. This was a much more tourist crowd than at 39 Underground certainly, with plenty of westerners of all ages, as well as a lot of younger Chinese guys.
The foam party was due to start at 8.30pm and whilst I did a bit of a wander around the maze, mostly I sat around waiting for the main event to start, in the end it started well after 9pm. When entry was allowed to the top level, there was a big crowd of eager naked Chinese men all lining up to go upstairs with seemingly identical bottoms - like clones. It was quite a sight!
Upstairs I was expecting the house boys to put on a bit of a show, but they seemed just to spread themselves out and await molesting by the hoards of horny Chinese lads. It was disappointingly dark, crowded and the foam just served to make things a bit slippery and not particularly sexy as I had imagined. The crowd was clearly very horned up and after a short while a good looking Chinese boy kind of latched on to me and against my original intentions to stay and observe the foam party,  I willingly let him drag me downstairs to a cabin for some more private play. He was a great kisser but didn't seem that experienced and language was a big barrier. He clearly wanted to be fucked but his tight little arse didn't seem to immediately yield. He didn't make any attempt to guide me in and I didn't want to force it so we continued to play more lightly and I came on his chest and we went our separate ways - me to the shower and he marched straight into the steam room! I kind of felt I had had enough at that point and decided not to head upstairs to explore what the end of the foam party looked like.

I don't think I have ever been to a sauna with such a demographic. I was at least 20 years older and at least 20kg heavier than virtually everyone there and naturally they paid me no attention. I sat in the medium temperature bath for some time just relaxing and observing - there was clearly a lot of traffic in and out of the steam room.
I did poke my head in the dark steam room at one point - and could hear someone having fun, but couldn't really see and I saw myself as having no chance of action given the young, fit crowd. I enjoyed sitting and sweating away in the well lit dry sauna. At one point two guys did start to touch each other and the young twink next to them watched on with considerable interest. The door started to open and they immediately broke apart as if nothing had happened. After a few minutes, they left together, closely followed by the young twink.
You get a meal included with the entry to Maxwell so I decided to take a break and have some refreshments. You get changed into a robe and shorts. The food was good and there were a few older and larger guys hanging around in the food area. I took a walk up to the rest area on the top floor and found it empty. There were some people resting and scrolling on their phones in the meditation area.
At around 5pm, I decided to go back down into the bath area. It was a little busier and the crowd was more a little diverse in terms of age and size. After another soak and short spell in the dry sauna, I thought I would once again have a little look in the steam room. This time it was fully crammed full of people. As my eyes adjusted I realised just how small a room it actually was. Surprisingly, someone then took a bit of an interest in me and led me slowly through the crowd towards the back of the room for some fun and I must admit it wasn't that long before I came.
I went back to my hotel fully intending to go out later to Silom either for a massage or a show, but didn't have the energy to make it out again that night. I slept well.

I arrived mid afternoon and having been to a similar, if more old fashioned, place in Seoul and also having watched a Youtube video, I had some idea what to expect. I loved the upmarket and modern look of the place and it was all very clean. However I was taken aback by the crowd - almost universally young and slim/fit. I don't think I have ever been to a sauna with such a demographic. I was at least 20 years older and at least 20kg heavier than virtually everyone there and naturally they paid me no attention. I sat in the medium temperature bath for some time just relaxing and observing - there was clearly a lot of traffic in and out of the steam room.
I did poke my head in the dark steam room at one point - and could hear someone having fun, but couldn't really see and I saw myself as having no chance of action given the young, fit crowd. I enjoyed sitting and sweating away in the well lit dry sauna. At one point two guys did start to touch each other and the young twink next to them watched on with considerable interest. The door started to open and they immediately broke apart as if nothing had happened. After a few minutes, they left together, closely followed by the young twink.
You get a meal included with the entry to Maxwell so I decided to take a break and have some refreshments. You get changed into a robe and shorts. The food was good and there were a few older and larger guys hanging around in the food area. I took a walk up to the rest area on the top floor and found it empty. There were some people resting and scrolling on their phones in the meditation area.
At around 5pm, I decided to go back down into the bath area. It was a little busier and the crowd was more a little diverse in terms of age and size. After another soak and short spell in the dry sauna, I thought I would once again have a little look in the steam room. This time it was fully crammed full of people. As my eyes adjusted I realised just how small a room it actually was. Surprisingly, someone then took a bit of an interest in me and led me slowly through the crowd towards the back of the room for some fun and I must admit it wasn't that long before I came.
I went back to my hotel fully intending to go out later to Silom either for a massage or a show, but didn't have the energy to make it out again that night. I slept well.
 

Back to the original topic, I am here jn Bangkok now and for the rest of the weekend. No definite plans yet but want to do a foam party, probably Sauna Mania's on Sunday.

When entry was allowed to the top level, there was a big crowd of eager naked Chinese men all lining up to go upstairs with seemingly identical bottoms - like clones. It was quite a sight!
Upstairs I was expecting the house boys to put on a bit of a show, but they seemed just to spread themselves out and await molesting by the hoards of horny Chinese lads. It was disappointingly dark, crowded and the foam just served to make things a bit slippery and not particularly sexy as I had imagined. The crowd was clearly very horned up and after a short while a good looking Chinese boy kind of latched on to me and against my original intentions to stay and observe the foam party,  I willingly let him drag me downstairs to a cabin for some more private play.
