I think the communication barriers by language tend to be a lot larger than we think, I was hooking up with this guy and his English was nearly perfect; he actually has an advanced degree in the English language, but still there were communication issues. For example, when we were trying to make plans and he asked what I wanted to do I said I'm down for anything and he interpreted that as me saying I don't feel well enough to do anything (as in I'm feeling down) Hell, on Grindr I can't count how many times someone says something to me and I have no clue what the fuck they're trying to say

Neither times I went did I get kissed, though tbf I didn't initiate it. Kenny is either gay/bi or a good actor, the second guy I was with whose name I never caught, I wouldn't be surprised if he was straight but I'm unsure, maybe I'm just not his type.

I've been here twice this year and left satisfied each time. The first time there was a lull and nobody was there free so they called over the one guy, Kenny. He was very handsome and muscular and it was a great experience, he was one of their most expensive masseurs. Second time I went the guy I had eyed from their lineup was not there and I picked another guy, didn't catch his name but I guess they were busier that day because our room was a bit cramped (my previous time there we had a very spacious room). The guy also had trouble bottoming for me so he finished me off by hand. I've also noticed with personal disappointment, there are a lot of really gorgeous guys in the lineup who only top that I would love to have if they were bottoms.

Yeah I think I was walking the wrong parts of Silom since I wasn't seeing many places. And yeah I'm in my twenties haha, though the guys I saw yesterday were definitely in their forties at least. But it's been tourist heavy so maybe the few places I was walking by were just too busy to have many guys out front.

Even that I am having trouble working with. People say Soi 6 near Silom but I spent 25 minutes fiddling with Google maps trying to figure out where the hell that is can I still can't manage it

I don't see any places like that, only shop that had anyone sitting outside just had male and female masseurs closer to my mother's age. I mean clearly there's something obvious I must be missing.

I see a lot of people looking for/recommending hunky muscle guys and tops. I'm a top who prefers slim twinks and was wondering if anybody new any recommendations.

I actually live right next to the University by chance, not a lot of expats in my area so I noticed that most people I interact with (like shopping or buying food) speak very little English but it might be different with the uni crowd, if I'm not too old to hang around them (which at almost thirty I might be haha)

I'm a 29yo American who just moved to BKK for work and plan on living her for at least the next few years, and I wanted some advice. First off, I live a bit away from the City Center (in Hua Mak), is there any good nightlife near me or do I have to commute to Silom> I was curious about exploring places like Krubb Sauna since it's not too far, but I'm on the chubby side (about 6'0 and 200ib), would I likely get any attention there or am I too large? I brought a 90 day supply of Prep, where can I get some when my current supply runs out (Same for DoxyPep) Is there a good way to meet expats for friends, because my neighborhood is almost entirely Thai speakers Any other advice veterans in the Gay scene here would be greatly appreciated!
