I'm a 29yo American who just moved to BKK for work and plan on living her for at least the next few years, and I wanted some advice.

 

First off, I live a bit away from the City Center (in Hua Mak), is there any good nightlife near me or do I have to commute to Silom>

I was curious about exploring places like Krubb Sauna since it's not too far, but I'm on the chubby side (about 6'0 and 200ib), would I likely get any attention there or am I too large?

I brought a 90 day supply of Prep, where can I get some when my current supply runs out (Same for DoxyPep)

Is there a good way to meet expats for friends, because my neighborhood is almost entirely Thai speakers

Any other advice veterans in the Gay scene here would be greatly appreciated!

The nice thing about attraction is beauty is at the eyes of the beholder.  Different people like different things.  Your body type might be attractive to a certain type of people.  That being said, are you wanting to top or bottom at these sauna?  I think for a bottom it would be easier to get f*ck then being a top to f*ck someone. All you have to do is find a room or mattress and ass up to attract a horny top.  Trust me, horny tops are not choosy, if there is a hole, they will stick their dick in.  It is that easy and simple.  Just go and enjoy, let go of your inhibitions.

I haven't had much luck there, I might be because I'm not living in an expat heavy area I don't think a lot of people around me speak much English from the profiles I see

Seriously, grab Bangkok by the scruff of the neck and take advantage of everything it offers. 200 lbs is around 90 kg and there are a lot of chubb chasers around. At 6' tall, though, you are unikely to be considered even chubby! If you have some free time, cruise around a shopping mall or two and keep your gaydar active. Places like Paragon and Icon Siam always seem to have so many cute guys, at least a few are likely to be gay and horny!

Are you at Ramkhamkaeng or Assumption by any chance? The Hua Mak/Ramkhamkaeng area is thriving with uni students and has got a youthful vibe. Plenty of inexpensive food options and small pubs - some with live bands - where the students like to hang out. And being at uni means they'll have at least some English. Assumption has got a large number of international students and lecturers too. You said you're new to the area so give yourself a bit of time. All you need is to make one new friend to get you started and then take it from there. Good luck!

I actually live right next to the University by chance, not a lot of expats in my area so I noticed that most people I interact with (like shopping or buying food) speak very little English but it might be different with the uni crowd, if I'm not too old to hang around them (which at almost thirty I might be haha)

 I would think if you're consulting a paid for 'therapist' (love that term) your looks would be irrelevant if he is straight.

Getting medicine from Pulse is rather expensive. You can get the same much cheaper not far away at Pripta or Red Cross. 

I prefer Hornet and HeeSay over Grindr.

Thanks for the advice I'll check out those clinics.

I downloaded those apps as well as jackd. Hornet I've not had much luck navigating but HeeSay has a ton of guys. 

I also looked at Thaifriendly, is that a general hookup app or is it pretty much just for Moneyboys

You think so? If I as a gay man had to have sex with a woman for money - and assuming I had the choice - I think I'd rather have it with a slender, petite and beautiful woman. It would make the job "easier" for me. This would be under the assumption that all other factors were to remain equal viz money, time and level of participation.
