I have not stayed in this hotel but I do love Salvador. There is a sea turtle sanctuary north of the city which is amazing. Try to get some time to wander there if you have time.

I walked to Boyztown a lot when there. But, it is also a quick baht bus ride away and the VT6 has entrance on both roads. So, just walk to Beach Road to get to Boyztown. For Sunnee, I'd take a motorbike taxi and it was really quick as well. But, not for the faint of heart. Glad you are giving it a try. I have stayed there many times and always enjoyed it.

I met him years back in Thailand. I thought he was articulate and handsome. I think his online personality on this site is totally different from who he really is or how he participates in other forums. I may be wrong but the Gay Thailand forums don't have a lot of politics on them. I love politics even though it gets messy at times. BTW: he is not looking to be saved. I got Dengue Fever for the 2nd or 3rd time a week ago. I let it go too long and my kidneys were shutting down. I was lucky to get to the hospital in time and got pumped with liquids and antibiotics. Again, Bumrumgrad was amazing and they treated me in the daytime with IV's for a few days as I didn't want to stay overnight. I was a bit shocked this is what it was as I have not been out a lot. But, the doctor said they now had a vaccine for Dengue Fever. Has anyone heard of this? Done it?

So far, 7 months in and now 133 pounds lost. Still, a long way to go but happy to be headed in the right direction. Not much of a change in lifestyle other than more exercise and less food per meal. However, I just go over Dengue Fever and that took me out for over a week.

It will NEVER happen. I grew up in the Bible belt and people who believe in things based on faith vs fact have no desire to change anything as it is their faith that sustains them.
