I got Dengue Fever for the 2nd or 3rd time a week ago. I let it go too long and my kidneys were shutting down. I was lucky to get to the hospital in time and got pumped with liquids and antibiotics. Again, Bumrumgrad was amazing and they treated me in the daytime with IV's for a few days as I didn't want to stay overnight. I was a bit shocked this is what it was as I have not been out a lot. But, the doctor said they now had a vaccine for Dengue Fever. Has anyone heard of this? Done it?

So far, 7 months in and now 133 pounds lost. Still, a long way to go but happy to be headed in the right direction. Not much of a change in lifestyle other than more exercise and less food per meal. However, I just go over Dengue Fever and that took me out for over a week.

It will NEVER happen. I grew up in the Bible belt and people who believe in things based on faith vs fact have no desire to change anything as it is their faith that sustains them.

There are still amazing places in Thailand and much more to do than ever but the scene is evolving. Online meets are gaining steam. Still many boys in Gogo bars and many in massage parlors but they have never been tons of twinks in either in Bangkok. I like twinks. Pattaya is better for that. But, still, as the bars change, others open up that fill the void. I have yet to find anywhere on earth you can go and find 500 guys working in different bars right next to each other.

I binge watched Godless as it has so many nominations. I normally don't like westerns but this was excellent. Great acting and a great story. Season 1 is worth a watch!
