The Clubs area is a great way to share with smaller groups of people. We have had several clubs started with some great information. We are trying to provide alternative ways for everyone to find a home here at boytoy!

You can get a great apartment in Bangkok for less than 1k per month but more likely around 800. Food is cheap depending on what you want or if you cook yourself or want delivery. Tonight I had an omelet with rice for 19 bath and very happy with it. Internet is about 20 USD per month. Electricity is about 80 USD per month. I'd say you could eat very well on 400-600 USD per month. It all depends on your lifestyle and what you want to eat and how much you want to spend on boys and entertainment. I have friends that easily live on 1500 USD per month. I have friends that spend 4k USD per month.

Lucky, The forums and the main site are different. At one point today there were 800 unique users on the site. Not on the forums, but on the main part of the site, looking around, etc. If you submit that only 12 are dedicated enough to vote when most don't give a shit what the name is, I think you submission is lacking. That said, we have revamped the site numerous times and it does not increase forum traffic. Tass, Thanks for the suggestions. I have added a forum for meeting online on other sites as well as an additional forum for reviews. I like the idea for changing the title but keeping the name. Thanks. A wiki type of place would be hard to manage. Instead, I added a forum that people can link to other names when they meet someone. This might be a simple way to keep people organized.

Thanks for all the opinions. We will keep the front end for vetted reviews. We have added an additional forum in this section for reviews that anyone can post. If your review gets denied for lack of content or photos, post them in the additional forum. We have also added an additional area for other sites and I added the first thread.

No, I think I was not clear. I do not think the the majority of members on either site like Donald trump the man. I hope most hate him. Lars, I am glad you brought this thread here and am happy it is an active thread. We provide a place for people to chat about anything they wish to chat about. However, to say we lack humanity based on that. People participate differently in different places. However, I can't think of many topics we don't allow and we don't ban people very often. I hope the participation is now low based on lack of humanity. I call the activity of the other site the Trump factor. His fans have one thing in common, they like authoritarians. This site is the opposite. We are the anti-Trump. I still hope there is a place for us as we are not going anywhere.

That is good advice from Axiom. I'd split my time between those 4 cities equally. That gives you plenty of time to see the sites in the daytime and the gay life at night. There is less gay life in Chiang Mai and Phuket but there are still plenty to occupy your time. In Chiang Mai, do the Elephant Sanctuary for one day. The one rule I have had in my life that has been consistent is that when I have a BF that gets hooked on drugs, I'm done. Earlier in life, I tried to help, spent money, spent time, spent energy. But, in the end, nothing changes until they are ready for the change and the allure to the highly addictive substance is often more important than anything else in their life. With friends, I stay away from them when I find they are into drugs. It is not my scene and I do not wish to get involved in helping someone UNLESS they ask for the help. If they do not ask, they are not ready to change and your time and effort will be wasted. You can easily encourage, participate in the friendship and "pretend" the issue is not there. But, that is not helping either. The only time they will change is when they are ready to change.

Having seen many websites and businesses change ownership, it is easy for things to fall through the cracks. I thought the response from Golden Banana was very professional and easy to follow. JDD, in over 10 years of this site and I think it is closer to 15, I have never once had someone more difficult to deal with. Never. You attack people but when they attack you, you get upset. Threads you start seem to start off OK but most deteriorate. Why? I don't know. Is it all you? No. Is it partly you? Yes Does it always center around you. Yes. Thus, that makes it difficult.

If you read that thread as being all about you, that is the problem! Yes, you cause shitloads of drama here. Yes, you beat things into the ground over and over and over. No, you are not the only one. I think the original thought was that often those details are inaccurate and this site would give more accurate details. And, often the guys ad doesn't give full information or those ads are deleted shortly after they are up and down and on another site. So, originally, this place was meant to be a place where truthful information flowed and stayed. But, perhaps that time has come and gone. If that is the case, we need to change with the times. I use Uber often and I also like the app GrabTaxi as they are often faster. Grabtaxi I pay cash. Uber I charge to my car. Both are great depending on the area and the time of day.

The Review section on Boytoy is pretty dead. We rarely get them. They were started many years back and they may be a remnant of things past. However, I'd like some community input. I was thinking of moving all the old reviews to a forum here called Male Escort Reviews and then also let people post their new reviews in that forum. That takes away the vetting of reviews. So, there are pluses and minuses for each thing. What are your thoughts?
