OK. I made a mistake with the Collaboration Feature. I had purchased it a while back but it was never used. Today, it started to get used so I tested it and could not find a way to make the topics private. I called the company that supports the forum and they told me they have now added this feature to the site. I enabled it and not it works perfectly. It is called Clubs. It is at the top menu to the very right. I have tested this and it worked well for me and kept any posts private. Only members of that club can see the topics. To start a Club, just go to the tab for Clubs and start one. Then, create a Topic. That topic is only visible to you and the members of the club. People can request access and you can invite.

They have not been used. But, you can create one and then you are the Moderator of your own forum area and can decide who can join.

I'd love to see this idea in action just one time!

Let me remind everyone that there is a special forum feature that allows for you to have a Private Forum for only those you wish to invite. There can be hundreds or thousands of them. You are totally free to create them. I installed this especially for the Brazil people who once had amazing photos of boys and one asshole messed that up for us all. This way, only trusted members can see some threads.

I am a bit befuddled. You think someone on the Internet making a snide comment is serious enough for an admin to intervene? And you think anyone is isn't friendly should be banned? In your definition, few of us would be left. We all say things we think are OK and not knowing they will be taken differently than we meant. I do this often. I don't mean to be snide but it happens. I agree the post in question as an asshole post. And, if someone disturbs you, just ignore them. If something rises to the level of being a troll, there is a process to get rid of them. See the Comments Section and the Community Comity Commission. If two members make a complaint to the admin then the jury begins. If the major votes, the outcome will be adhered to. Since this has never been used, why don't you give it a try. I'd love to see how the process works in real life.

Terrorism may not be the word they are using to describe the white supremacist rally this weekend and the driver who plowed into a group of peaceful protesters but why not? Why does this term not apply? America is going down the shitter with this president. He is a true disgrace. And, the words he used in the few years are what caused the state of affairs at the moment.

I am not so sure. I thought we had finally broken through all the barriers I'd see in my lifetime but one president can do so much damage and harm. I believe this will set the gay rights movement back. Not forever, but for some time as his supporters are anti-gay.

IMHO, the gay rights movement increased a great deal because people were willing to say, "I'm gay." I think very important to publicize it! And, the more friends we have in areas like Hip Hop, Rap, etc, the better off we all are. We have made great strides, but as you see from the asshole in office we can be pushed back. I am thrilled with famous people say I'm gay or Bi or transgendered.

Yes, I felt he was angry they put him there. But, emotions are hard to control for us and even harder for a 14 year old. He is young and will have some career.
