Would you like a piece of this?

I have been a supporter of Vonage almost since the first year it started. This year I switched. It was a hard choice for me as I loved my 212 area code number and I did not want to give it up and so for years I kept paying the fees. I was moved to the lowest plan and then again the lowest over and over again but they kept changing things and I got tired of the BS. I finally transferred my number to MagicJack and was thrilled. The clarity is great and the fees are much better than Vonage. I also use Skype more than anything. Mainly, I use it as I have MS Office and it gives me 100 free world wide minutes per month. I love that and use it often. I also find the rates very competitive to Thailand and Brazil. I have used this service for many years and it is still what I use for business more than anything as everyone has Skype. For the bf's, if I place a call to them, I use Skype. If I want to see them, I'll use either Facetime or Skype. The clarity on Facetime seems better to me. I have not yet got send and receive SMS to work on either Skype or MagicJack but I have been told it is possible. It is just not working for me. What other ways do you use for communication? Am I missing a better deal?

I have recently had friends travel to both Cuba and Brazil and had a blast. There are good things and bad things about both places. For now, Brazil is a bit more unsafe than in recent years but my friends who go tell me that they feel perfectly safe and secure. They do stick to the main areas though. For Cuba, I have heard that the boys are amazing and very excited to see foreigners. There is a thriving gay scene there. There was a thread on this site a while back (2014) about Cuba and it is well worth a read. For those looking for some fun times and adventure, have you considered either of the above? I know many will say they prefer Thai boys. I get that. But, for others variety is the spice of life.

I was reading a book in an art gallery and found this word. Not wanting to look dumb, I waited and looked it up later. sylvan \SIL-vuhn\ adjective: 1. Of or pertaining to woods or forest regions. 2. Living or located in a wood or forest. 3. Abounding in forests or trees; wooded. noun: 1. A fabled deity or spirit of the woods. 2. One that lives in or frequents the woods or forest; a rustic. They probably picture it as a kind of modest conservatory, set in sylvan splendour in some charmingly landscaped garden. -- Sally Vincent, "Driven by daemons", Guardian, November 10, 2001 They choose to live where they do because of the beauty and peacefulness that a sylvan setting affords. -- Henry Petroski, "Step Lively", Washington Post, June 30, 2002 Following the course of the brook, and especially in the ravines, are many poplars and other tall trees, which, together with the bushes and the shrubs, form a dark and labyrinthine wood. . . . It would, in truth, be difficult to imagine anything more secluded and sylvan, more solitary, peaceful, and silent than this spot. -- Juan Valera, Pepita Jimenez Sylvan derives from Latin silva, sylva, "a wood or grove."

As someone pointed out in another thread, the cars are not expensive and I would normally hire a driver for the day or the night. I'd have them tour me around and spend time with me and take me wherever I wanted. In my thread here on Salvador, I think I listed my driver information but it has been a few years. I truly loved Salvador. I'm easily identifiable as a tourist as well. The drive did not mind waiting and when I didn't find a guy, he would ask if I wanted to try another one. He knew what I was looking for.

Lagoa is the one in Sao Paulo and it is great. The other one is also very good. In Salvador, there are some saunas but they are a bit more similar to Meio Mundo in appearance and in very rough parts of town. I would suggest that the guide goes with you. I know others will not agree but I felt better having my driver wait for me.

You never know what you will get. My philosophy is try everywhere. Personally, I love the saunas. I find 99 percent of my guys there. But, I have picked up a few from clubs, restaurants and the net. Here is one I met online years back. He was one one of the Sao Paulo escort sites. He stayed with me a week. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4502-one-of-my-favorite-male-escorts-in-brazil/?hl=christian#entry79254

I like Thailand and boast of it often. That does not mean I don't like other discussions. I was always a big 117 fan and still am. But, the past few trips, I found more guys from Meio Mundo. My first trip I found more at Pointe but then I got ripped off a few times at the door and that left a bad taste in my mouth so I stopped going very much. Still on my last trip, I was there too. I always go to them all just to see what is there. (or who)

Jay, I love Salvador. It is one of my favorite cities. I did a few saunas on my last trip and gave some reports here. Also, be sure to check out the turtle sanctuary north of the city. It was simply amazing and there is a great hotel near there that would be fantastic to stay. The area is very quiet and not very lively but the ocean is beautiful and I enjoyed it!

Thanks for the post on my favorite vacation destination! I love the place as well. Did you take guys from Jupiter? If so, how were they?

Great Story in LA Times - Totally worth a read
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in The Beer Bar
I agree. Very moving and beautiful. I loved that she seemed so accepting of all the changes that took place over the years. -
I loved the story. http://www.latimes.com/nation/great-reads/la-na-c1-ff-santa-fe-dressmaker-20150703-story.html#page=1

I will see it and I'm excited to see it. I love the actors and can't wait to see them nude. Well, OK, not nude but I have a good imagination. Years back I went to Stellas all the time and I always found the strippers in their costumes and dance numbers interesting. And, it reminds me of what was in Magic Mike.

I agree with some things. I do not like the facilities at all. In fact, I detest them. But, I do like the guys. They tend to be younger and more twinky than the other saunas. I didn't find just the regular looking guys when I went but I guess it is all when you go and what you are into. I hate the fact they don't have showers in the room. I also don't like the stairs. But, I have had more fun here than the other places on my last few trips. For years, I loved 117 and I still do but my last few trips, I felt like I was in a place that all the boys from Pointe came to. Just the way I felt. Thank you for sharing and I can't wait to check things out myself!

It will be interesting to see how the site keeps going after this blow. I have expected this for years and they lasted longer than I thought they would. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-visa-backpage-20150701-story.html

Great post!

I agree but Bernie Sanders is really doing well in the polls here. The more they talk about this, the more ignorant they look to the masses. For politics, I hope Donald Trump stays in the longest. He is the greatest thing for Democrats since white bread.

Florida photographer Clinton Brentwood Lee sent an amazing message to a prospective client. After affirming his support for same-sex marriage, Mr Lee was sent a message by a woman who had booked him to photograph her wedding. She said: “My fiancé and and I support traditional marriage between a man and a woman and don’t want our money going to a place that supports otherwise. I would like to inquire how we can get our retainer [deposit] back from you.” Mr Lee, of Brentwood Photography, responded: “I would say this disappoints me, but I actually find this to be a good thing because our company would now not like to work with you as well. “It’s not because you have a different view from us, but it’s because, since you don’t like and support gay marriage, no one else should be able to have it. “That’s like me not liking broccoli, and demanding that everyone else in the world should not have broccoli either!” He went on: “At Brentwood Photography we see love in all forms. Now as far as your retainer goes, I hope you’ll read the first article in the contract you signed stating that this is nonrefundable. “But don’t worry I’m not going to keep it! “I have decided to donate your $1500 to GLAAD, a group created to help and support gay rights. “So let me be the first to say thank you very much for your donation and support for this great cause!” http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2015/06/28/this-photographer-had-the-best-response-to-an-anti-same-sex-marriage-client/

I am happy to have the legal right and I know I deserve it as it is just and right. But, I also know that the losing team will start to question every aspect of the law and it seems the buzzwords are Christian Liberty and not requiring pastors to perform the ceremonies. It will be interesting to see in the coming weeks and months exactly what happens and how this decision effects the next election as all the Republican candidates denounced the decision.

I loved this show last season. This season's opener was hard for me to get into. And, to be honest, I just didn't get the story. What did I miss?

Wow. This just seems to keep falling lower and lower doesn't it?
