I have stayed at the Intercontinental there about 10 times and LOVE it. It is in a great area and has tons of shopping areas around it. The city is amazing and I love the vibe.

The best massage I have ever gotten in Thailand was at the Thai Blind Institute. It was a great massage and very firm. The worst is when I was on a bike trip and I saw a cute young guy at a hotel and asked him for a massage and he sent over his grandmother who tried to have sex with me about 40 times. I can still picture her teeth (or lack thereof) and singing to me as she massaged. I always wondered if I was on the Thai version of Candid Camera.

That is a very deep statement.

My favorite massage place is Hero but you have to like a bit bigger than average Thai guy and in mid twenties or above. There are very few twinks there.

Planetime really described the bath experience perfectly. It was not at all sexual for me.

Seriously, the world is a small place. I was sitting in XBoys years ago and chatting with some guys who were new to Bangkok and a couple. They were doctors from the East Coast. We chatted for a long time and I told them what school I graduated from and they said their office manager went to the same school. I not only knew him but had recruited him from Alabama to go to the school many years before and lost touch with him.

Why not? I was in Istanbul last week and had a blast. I met this lady at the Intercontinental Hotel and she asked where I was from and I told her New York. She said, "I have a friend there named Brian. He is an actor. Do you know him?" I said yes and I thought he was amazing and smiled. You never know.

Excellent trip report. Thank you. And, ignore the posters telling anyone not to post numbers. I like to hear them and I know others do as well. I am not one to care much about how many fish one caught in a pond but if someone posts it, I may or may not read about it. I read the listings and many look good. But, the prices are from good to expensive. LOL I am sure many are testing the waters. But, what area on their map is where the gays are?

I love this game! And, the last episode was fabulous! The tribal council was the best in a long time. I am happy that Joe is still there as I like looking at him. I do miss Joquim.

It started a bit slow but it really did build up the characters each episode. I loved the final few episodes. The cliffhanger at the end was perfect!

I thought it was very very funny! All of the toasters did a great job. Martha was the best and Snoop was funny as hell. I thought everyone was witty and it was excellent.

A minaret is a distinctive architectural feature of mosques and this one was taken outside the great Blue Mosque in Istanbul today! The others are from the Blue Mosque as well. I went on a tour inside. It is still an active Mosque so you must take your shoes off before you go inside and there are those that are praying. It was a beautiful Mosque!

I have eaten at many places including a fish place near the bridge and a restaurant called Platinum near the old city and it has a glass floor that you can see the caverns below. very cool. But, for photos, here is one place I ate outside the palace that I liked the kabob's.
