  1. My boys understand English but they always read the subtitles. They seem to get the jokes fast but the long dialogue, they seem to read it all.
  2. I go to the annual porn convention in Las Vegas every year. It is a great deal of fun. But, the main reason I go is to listen to the speakers and the lectures. Porn guys and gals are the ones that keep up to date with SEO better than anyone. They know how to play the same and to get results and they work their ass off to get this. I will add another little statistic to your post. Did you know the the vast majority of porn companies are owned by women? Yes, even the gay ones. There are many major players in the gay porn world and often they have a figurehead guy as their CEO but the real money and the ownership and control is usually women! Did you know that already?
  3. I agree that things are very outdated. It is one of the hardest things to keep up with on the site as you really need on the ground people in each major city to help and assist. I'd love to see this updated as well. I can help in Pattaya and will go through the listings there and see which ones are relevant now.
  4. There is an app on the Apple App Store called IPS Buddy. I use it to log into many sites online. I think it is free and I use the info for gaythailand.com/forums and log in and tested this. I also tested with Safari and it worked for me. Be sure you use the right URL for the forums and you log in from the main page and it should work. If you are accessing a different way, please let me know exactly what you are using to view the site and I'll try to help you figure this out.
  5. PRESS RELEASE World Aids Day was celebrated by the gay community in Patong Beach The Phuket Loves You club joined together with the bars and gay businesses in the Paradise complex to mark World AIDS day on Saturday 1st December. They adopted the world Health organization’s world theme of “Getting to Zero” which they identified 3 main areas to focus on over the coming years: Zero New infections from HIV Zero Deaths from HIV Zero Discrimination of people with HIV The day started with a screening of the Thai film ‘Living with the tiger’ an intimate and moving story about a group of HIV infected orphans in Thailand that have been abandoned by society. In the evening there was a street party in Soi Paradise, which included a street parade by My Way bar carrying giant red Worlds AIDS day ribbons throughout the street and street shows by some of the bars. At 11.30pm there was a candle light vigil, with over 200 people holding candles in the street, all the bars turned off their music and main lights to allow everyone to remember those that have died from HIV and to think about those who live with HIV. This was followed by a helium balloon release with 200 red balls being released into the sky. All the businesses in Soi Paradise were decorated with red cloths and balloons and everyone was wearing the World AIDS Day ribbons from which donations made for these, plus the other events on the evening, raised over 30,000 Baht for HIV Charities. During the evening a large group of volunteers from Andaman Power were in the Soi giving out free condoms and leaflets on Safe sex and HIV. Along with some street games there was also a ‘red balloon pop’ game, held at James Dean & friends bar, which for a small donation people popped a balloon and won prizes from free bottles of beer to hotel stays, one hour massages, and meals for 2, all of these top prizes were donated by local businesses, including Aquarius Guest House & Sauna, Adonis Guest House, Fong Kaew Mansions, Blue Dolphin Massage, My Way bar, Rendezvous Hotel, Sundowners Group and Bistro restaurant. The whole day’s events costs were sponsored by cash donations from Boat Bar, Absolute Vodka and the Tangmo group. Ian Philips the Chairman said “I am delighted that so many people attended and took part during the day, the coming together of all the Gay businesses in Patong, clearly demonstrated the commitment we all have to getting Phuket to Zero”
  6. It is on UBC this week WITH Thai subtitles!
  7. Would it be illegal to offer Taylor 1M if he let me blow him?
  8. Frankly, I know most of you simply don't give a damn. But, I love Gone with the Wind. I love it so much, I had photos of Rhett Butler and Scarlet O'Hara in my bedroom as a child. (I would also tell you about my Madam Alexander Gone with the Wind Doll collection but that might be sharing too much info) I still remember growing up and watching this movie every year with my family. My mother never missed it. And, it took over our TV set for a few nights every year. Last night I saw this was on one of our movie channels and I asked the boys if they would watch it with me. They did. They laughed at times and esp. when Scarlet would do something incredibly stupid. They asked lots of questions about the time frame and the war. All in all a good experience. I am sure that only 30 percent of the audience last night really loved it. But, the other 2/3's at least watched and seem to be mildly interested. I wanted to show them a bit of America that I grew up with and watching this movie was a good bonding experience. Much better than watching Freddy Kruger or one of the other nutty movies I also grew up with.
  9. As a society, we are so uptight with sex. I hate it. I don't see any issue with Bill having sex with an intern or anyone else. Look, he was the President. He has power over all Americans if he wanted it. That should not stop him from enjoying sex and life. IMHO
  10. I have been using 3BB for a while and they are consistent. BUT, it depends on what speed you order and how many people are on that connection. I use the 20M service and it is fast as not too many use that speed. If you get the lowest package, many people share and therefore, the speed will be slower. But, this is true with most ADSL Internet providers.
  11. Two consenting adults. A 23 year old can make her own choices and while he was the President, I do not think he abused his office in order to get some head.
  12. Yes, welcome to the forum. It is great to see you posting here. I love the photo of the boys you have working and have heard great things about your place and will be trying it this week.
  13. Here ya go in a bit smaller size. Hope this helps and good luck with the fundraiser. I have been to one of these and had a great time.

  15. Lesson 11: TIT (That is Thailand) Many of us complain from time to time about some things about Thailand and just yesterday I made a post about being upset with the IQ of workers in stores. It is not that I think they are stupid it is just they often do not know anything about what they are selling. And, TIT. If you can't go with the flow, you should either pack your bags or find a way to deal with it. For me, I have often just found a way to deal with it. I'll go to Bangkok for shopping or I'll order online and pay for shipping. I can't expect Thai's to have my way of thinking and it is not fair for me to ask them to do this. I love every part of Thailand or I would not be here. Some things frustrate me from time to time but it is all part of the Thailand experience. As I have said before, it is paradise and if I didn't love it here, I would not be here. Life is too short to get so upset with the small things you can't change and this is one I'll never be able to change. At the same time, while I can't change it, I can find ways to move around it. TIT
  16. Very cute. Can't wait to meet him!
  17. http://www.pattayadailynews.com/en/2012/12/09/brit-leaps-to-his-death-after-thai-gf-splits/ A very odd news article that gives a bit more detail into this sad story.
  18. I went in tonight and it must have been an off night. There are only 4-5 boys there. But, I thought for 99 baht, I'd site and have a drink. I did. The music is not blasting like many bars and I like that. The one boy that came to the table was nice and friendly. However, with not much going on, I decided I'd move on to the next bar. I looked at the bill and the drinks are now 140 baht. So, I guess the 99 baht drinks are now gone and I looked around and saw the new signs that all drinks are now 140 baht. Oh well.
  19. Funny you two! No, I just get frustrated at times. Was in IT City yesterday and wanted to buy something and they didn't know the price. After 6 people came over to help still no one knew the price. 5 minutes later, no price. I just left. What else could I do? Sit and be patient like I should?
  20. This is my rant for the day. I order from WOW Delivery on a regular basis. 1/2 the time they mess up the order. I order precisely what is on their menu. I confirm with the lady the order and still they can't seem to get it right. Yesterday, I wanted to buy a 27inch Samsung Monitor for the BF. We went to Central and to Banana IT and they didn't have one but they said they could order one. They went online, filled in all the information, ordered it, took a 3k baht deposit. I waited till they confirmed everything. I then left the store. They called me back later to tell me they didn't have that model any longer and could not order it but could order another model that was 2k baht more. You mean after they ordered it, and I paid, they found out they could not take the order? And, then, they didn't want to give a refund of the deposit. It just made me want to drive to Bangkok to buy it. A few days back, I wanted to buy seats for next week's The Hobbit. I saw online they were for sale. I wanted the loveseats which online did not sale. I called the theater and asked if I could come in the next day to get them and they said yes. I went the next day and they said not for sale yet and even spoke to the manager who said not for sale. I told them I could buy online and they said I could not that it was impossible to buy the Hobbit in Pattaya. So, I went online and ordered the regular seats even though the manager told me it was not possible to do. I pretty much hate buying anything in Pattaya because the sales people usually don't know anything about the product. I do not blame them but I do wonder how they sell as much as they do when they can never answer any questions about anything. OK. Rant for the day is done!
  21. Bob, sausage is usually put on bread. What did the main character in Les Mis go to jail for? (trivia question)
  22. Jomtien, I bet you didn't know that a hog needs to be castrated for about 90 days before being killed in order for the meat to taste better? Plus, I met you have never tasted something as divine as my grandfather's moonshine!
  23. Les Mis was the first musical I ever saw that was a true professional production. I was simply amazed that something like that was on a stage. Growing up very poor and in the deep South, our community theater had a few plays each year but I think the budget was under 100 USD. So, when I saw this my first time in undergraduate school, it opened my eyes to a totally new world. I was lucky enough to get away from the South for my education as I was given a scholarship in a good east coast school. I saw Les Mis during this time and I was just floored. Since then, I have seen it over 30 times in 4 countries. I still love it and it played a very important role in me moving to NYC later in my life. I can't wait to see this movie! I hope it comes to Pattaya but if not, I'll be headed to Bangkok to see it.
  24. No, I do not. If the issue you see is the words "horrendous build up" I would suggest that it is very logical. If this was suicide, and we do not know that for sure even though the cops have stated this, I would think it is logical to know that this was a build up. I don't think suicide is something one just thinks of one minute and then does the next. If suicide is what happened here, I do think that it was a build up.
  25. FH, you bring up many good points and I agree with most of everything in your post. What I think the issue is, and it is just IMHO, is that some people are embarrassed to be seen in Sunee Plaza. It is just a taboo in that area to have a camera. I remember sitting in one beer bar about a year ago and a gay guy and his boy were taking photos of themselves and the boys they were drinking with. Another bar owner approached them and told them that was not OK and if they did not stop their camera would be taken from them. I do not see the same scenario taking places in other areas of Pattaya. In fact, photography is encouraged in many of the lady bars and ladyboy bars. Could it be that gays are still very leery to be associated with being gay? Or, is it the particular area they are in?
