  1. I love college football. I also love the Alabama Crimson Tide. I want so badly to watch this game live for the National Championship. I don't think my TV with True will have it. If not, if anyone hears of where I can go in Pattaya or Bangkok for a party to watch this event, PLEASE let me know!
  2. One of the boyfriends went home to his family near Korat and celebrated Loy Krathong. He really enjoys taking photos and he gave me permission to share these with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. (yes, the photo of him and the lady with the lantern is his girlfriend/wife for many years)

  4. For Pattaya Fireworks 2012, there are four countries participating in, China, Singapore, Canada and The United States. The first night they each shot off 10 min or so worth of fireworks. The 2nd night they all shot off for 45 minutes. I do not yet know who won but I'll try to find out. Last year China won. It is a fun event as they close off beach road completely for those 2 days. It makes traffic a mess but there are tons of vendors, food, etc. on the street. It is a very festive atmosphere. Also, usually over 100,000 people come here to see this. That means Pattaya is esp. packed!
  5. I hope all those able to go are taking advantage of these great shows!
  6. Great night for a party in Boyztown!
  7. I know for sure 4 of the 20. That is not good odds. So, I'll keep working. Naturally, 2 of the 4 are places I love.
  8. Saturday Dec. 1, 2012 Video I hope you enjoy! It was fabulous to see and lasted for over an hour. This video is 9 min.

  10. Thank you for that link. I had never heard of this. I do admit, when I saw the term MegaDo, I was thinking it was a mega dodo (shit) on the plane or a major fuckup. LOL Great article!
  11. I have said for many years that my next long term place to call home is going to be either Brazil or somewhere in Europe. I love Thailand but I do feel that I will make a change in 2013. I hope that some of you here will help me. I have wanted to move to Brazil for a long time. The biggest difference between Brazil and Thailand is the ease at which a foreigner can move and live comfortably. There are literally tons of serviced apartments in every Thai city. I can easily find a furnished apartment in Thailand for a cheap price and it is very nice and comfortable. Check out www.condo6.com for a few choices in Pattaya, Thailand. Check out Marriott Executive Apartments or Ascott Condo in Bangkok. In both of the above, you can easily find a decent high end place for 1200-1500 USD per month. And, they are fully furnished. I have yet to find similar places in Brazil that would be so easy to move into. There is a place in Porto Alegre that I found: http://www.shortstaybrazil.com/ And, in Brazil in general: http://www.vrbo.com/ But, most of these are looking for short stays of a week or a month as opposed to one year or longer and some don't give decent rates for even a long term stay. I would prefer to live in Rio or Sao Paulo in Brazil but I have found that the apartments there require a one year upfront payment which I just won't do unless you have a Brazil guarantor. I guess my real preference is Sao Paulo as I find it easy to get around there and I know it a bit better than I do Rio but either place would be find. I did look at Porto Alegre and I know I would love the boys but I think I would be very isolated and not be able to make "English speaking" friends. Another reason I love Thailand is the abundance of foreigners that live here it is so easy to find "friends" to hang out with from time to time that are not working boys. And, as I only speak English, that makes it harder to communicate with the locals. Lastly, a visa is not a problem for me in Brazil. I have the ability to stay in the country for an unlimited time frame and do not have to worry about exiting the country every few months. This site lists the countries price index. While Paris is my first city of choice, it is way to expensive for me as I am trying to save money as opposed to living in NYC. http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=Brazil I am also open to other place but I must have a local array of working boys that are easy for me to meet, greet and fall in love with. So, there you have it. That is my story. Help and advice and chastisement is greatly appreciated!

  16. PHUKET: The World Justice Project (WJP) ranked Thailand 80th among 97 countries in delivering effective civil justice in its international Rule of Law Index 2012 report issued on Wednesday. However, despite the low ranking in dispensing civil justice, the report also recognized Thailand’s strong performance in the control of crime and in serving criminal justice. According to the report, “Thailand earns high marks on absence of crime and effectiveness of the criminal justice system (ranking 35th globally and seventh among its income peers). However, civil conflict and political violence are significant problems… “The country’s lowest scores are in the dimension of civil justice (ranking 80th), partly because of delays in processing cases and difficulties in enforcing court decisions.” The report noted that Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore lead the East Asia & Pacific region in most dimensions of the rule of law. http://www.phuketgazette.net/thailandnews/2012/Thailand-News-World-Justice-report-ranks-Kingdom-80th-in-serving-civil-justice-19602.html http://worldjusticeproject.org/rule-of-law-index/
  17. It may just be the start of an incredibly busy weekend but the traffic today, even in daytime, was horrific. Driving a motorbike, it took me over an hour to get down one area. Be careful!
  18. LOL So sorry guys! It was Loy Kratong in Thailand and the boys and I celebrated a bit. The number of posts is for the entirety of the contest and not each month. But, I guess I was just hoping I wouldn't be required to answer and people could assume what they wished and post more. One of the boys in your photo looks very familiar!
  19. Z, I completely agree. Cleaner bathrooms etc. But, with just a little effort and not too much money, the other soi could be very similar. It is just not important to them. I guess the question is why?
  20. We are at the end of the best kiss contest. You can "vote" by liking any photo. You can live as many as you want. Voting ends soon! Vote while you can! Topic is pinned at the top of this forum!
  21. I have a solution for you! Bring Andre here! He would love the boys and the attention. They would eat him up! Can't wait for you to come over and visit!
  22. Half a million have Aids virus |but numbers adding up every hour; campaigns hamstrung by government indifference In Thailand, at least one person becomes HIV-positive every hour, joining a million others who have been infected with the Aids virus in the country over the past two decades. Despite the national campaign launched more than 20 years ago, HIV infections have been growing steadily. The Public Health Ministry estimates that more than a million people have been infected over the past two decades, and only about 464,414 of them are still alive. The key reasons for this increase are that many people still indulge in unsafe sex and not many undergo tests. In 2011, studies showed that 44 per cent of every 100,000 Thais were infected with sexually transmitted diseases, compared to 29 per cent in 2007. According to Public Health Ministry data, about 62 per cent of those infected with the HIV virus are men who have sex with men, sex workers and drug users. It is estimated that about 80 per cent of new cases are caused by unprotected sex and about 300,000 people have the tendency to be carriers of the virus. "They never think that they will be at risk if they don't use condoms," said Dr Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, director-general of the Disease Control Department. In addition to these alarming facts, Thais have been starting to have sex at a very young age. A recent survey on teenage sexual behaviour found that about 20 per cent of girls lose their virginity at the age of 12, while 40 per cent become sexually active at 16.
