HeyGay, thank you for the story. I read the headline and thought you were referring to me at first but then knew you didn't think I was German. But, as I saw your boy and you eating the other day, I almost stopped and had a drink with you. I have the opposite of this happen to me all the time. I am sitting at the beach and all these damn Thai boys see me with the BF and think I am a slut and available. Don't they know I am here for the great beaches and fabulous museums? I just don't understand why they keep hitting on me in front of the BF. I so see your point and as someone who loves beauty, I know you have great taste in boys. Consider this a compliment from the German guy and let it be that. There are so many rude fuckers around the world that he is not worth your time or energy. I am sure your boy is loyal to you as I know you treat him like a superstar.

This year, the most attractive, most beautiful transgender ladies from more than 20 countries will join this pageant for the chance to be crowned the 8th Miss International Queen. First, for those that have never been to Tiffany's, it is a true must see if you are in Pattaya. If you have been, these events are always a great deal of fun.

How much time do you spend when you visit a gay GoGo Bar in Thailand?
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
You can have the nicest bar or earth or a shit hole but in the end, it will have customers if you have sexy guys there. I think back to my time in Sao Paulo and there was this Sauna that was in the middle of the big city but about 45 min drive from the downtown. It was in the middle of a neighborhood. The short time rooms were filthy and the place was very old and outdated. But, on weekends, all the neighborhood guys came out to work and they worked no where else. I would hire a taxi time and time again that would take me there and wait for me and bring me back to hotel. The only reason was it has some of the hottest guys I had seen anywhere. The same would be true for Thailand. You can spend a great deal of money on a place and have it looking and working great but in the end, it needs hot guys there to fill it. For me, it only takes one guy and I'm happy. But, when I walk into a place to have a drink and there is no one on stage that I would be interested in meeting or having a drink with, it makes me feel bad about the place no matter how beautiful the place is. -
Tonight, I was on a mission. I met a guy a few nights back with Firecat who said he was new in town (who knows) and he was very limited in what he does. I told Firecat that I'd give him a week and go back and I did. He was very happy to do everything I wanted from him and I was thrilled so I took him off. He was extremely sweet and affectionate and while not a great kisser in the beginning, he turned out to be really great. I took him from an area of Pattaya known as Boyztown and a bar called Funny Boys. The off fee is 400 baht and the cost for a short time is "up to you." Most people pay 1-2 k baht for a short time. I gave him 1500 and some taxi money. Drinks in the bar were 150 baht each. So for 2 drinks, his off fee and tip, it cost me 2200 baht or 70 USD. I thought he was adorable and I loved his hair. LOL And, yes, he is 18 years old with ID that I checked but also, I know this bar very well and the mamasan and the owner owns 2 of the best places in Thailand and would never risk the business. Funny Boys had nice low music, about 45 boys and a wide variety of guys to choose from. The seats are comfortable and the bathrooms are VERY clean. It is a very well run establishment and it is next door to about 4 other gay gogo bars and 3 massage places and 1 street over is another 10-15 bars. If you can't find someone of your liking here, you are lost to the world.

I was out with a friend last night in Boyztown and the pickings were slim. I think the rain played a role in the lack of boys in many of the bars. We looked inside several places and decided not to sit and have a drink. The bar we did enter was pretty lackluster and we did not stay very long at all. The experience just made me think of how much time or lack thereof, I spend when I go to a bar. There are a few bars, like Nice Boys, that I really enjoy and can sit for 30-45 min and drink and relax. If a bar has a show, like X Boys in Pattaya or most of the ones in Bangkok, I can stay and watch the show and really enjoy it. But, if I want into a gogo bar in Thailand and there is no one on stage that interests me, I am ready to go in less than 5-10 minutes and on to the next bar. I know that are some that can sit in one bar for 4-5 hours or longer. But, I am very curious how long most members here sit in the average gogo bar. How long do you stay? What makes you stay? What makes you leave? What makes a bar good for you? Do you enjoy the shows?

Be careful! You have been warned. I was sitting at the greatest restaurant in Pattaya, Salt and Pepper, in Day Night 2 and a customer was telling me about how he was pick pocked by a gang of ladyboys who get on the baht bus with bags and try to distract you and pick your pocket. That very night, a good friend was in front of the Central Festival area when a group got on the baht bus with him and they tried to go inside his pocket. I had heard this is rampant on Beach Road. So, be careful!

The one on the left worked in a bar in Sunee Plaza called Crazy Pub. It was a JO club. You would go in and put 100 bath into a cup and the first boy to JO got the money. I got a crush on him and went every day for a few weeks trying to entice him to go outside the club with me. Finally, after a month or two of him saying no, one day he walked up to me in the street and said OK. We were great ever since. The one on the right did not work in a bar when I met him. He was into selling of illegal substance in the area and I saw him get into a fight and I wanted to meet him as I loved the way he fought and argued. I made him an offer he could not refuse and as he had just had a baby he wanted to get out of the business he was in and change his life. He did. Neither spoke English when I met him and now they both do. I sent them both to English school as a requirement of staying with me and I asked them both to go back and get their High School GED. Both did but it took him 4-5 years to do that. One is in University right now and the other is looking for a new University or school. I find most Thai boys are very good at reading whether a foreigner is going to be good to them or not. Back when I met them both, I had about 3-5 other guys living with me and they saw how well I took care of the other guys and they wanted to be a part of the "family" or "party." These 2 have lasted through all the other boys that have lived with me over the many years and both have been great to me. I hope that gives a bit more background on the guys but also on why I love Thailand so much. Because, you really can make a difference in the life of the guys here but also, anything is possible if you are patient and kind to them.

They did not know each other at all. They are not a couple when I am not here. Both have ladies they live with when I am away and they go home to visit from time to time when I am in Thailand. Both are straight but have been wonderful to me. They are both very loving, great at taking care of me, great sex and I have no doubt love me a great deal. But, loving me is as much as 2 straight guys can love a gay guy double their age and 4 times their weight. I have always been pretty up front with boys I see. I have expectations and when met, I am very good to them. These 2 boys have a great life for Thai standards or just about any other standard but I am a realist. They have both stayed with me in ups and downs and have always gone above and beyond anything I ever expected of the guys. In return, both have gotten an education and both seem to really enjoy when I am in Thailand. It is perfect for them as I have zero jealousy with regard to their ladies and I have meet both gals and they realize when I am in Thailand I am priority. Does this sound odd to you? Maybe it does. But, it works for me.

I had a great time at The Avenue's newest Pool hall, VIP Pool. It is great and a wonderful place to take your Thai boyfriend or a group of sexy guys for a relaxing day or evening. The new pool hall boasts 14 pool tables, and is open from 11 am – 2 am, and offers drinks with reasonable prices. The hall is open daily, and the hourly fee from 11 am – 6 pm is 150 baht, and from 6 pm – 2 am is 200 baht. It is on the ground floor of The Avenue right across from the Closed California Wow (which betrayed it customers and closed). The Avenue use to be fabulous to hang out at before Central Festival opened but still the area is nice and has this great pool hall and Major Cinema and Bowling. I loved VIP Pool!

Well, guys, these are my 2 long term guys (8 years each) and even after all that time, they still put up with all my antics.

She must have been doing a hell of a lot of SMSing. I remember years ago when I traveled across the USA, I got a bill over 1k as I was going in and out of my carrier zone and I didn't even make calls.

I have a few questions about Medical Insurance in Thailand and I'd love to hear some first hand experiences from others in Thailand. We had a great discussion about this in 2009: http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/4432-medical-insurance-for-someone-living-in-los/ I am curious how things have changed or stayed the same since then. I am looking for a policy that will cover me in Thailand. I have good coverage in USA and it does extend to Thailand but for a 6 month period. I'd like to have additional coverage in Thailand just in case. What plans, companies would you recommend?

Friday October 12 is International Farmer's Day
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Are you sure you picked up the Thailand version of the Farmer's Almanac? I remember it last time I looked at it and I thought Out in Thailand was a major sponsor. -
Here is the word for this week: apostle PRONUNCIATION: (uh-POS-uhl) MEANING: noun: A strong supporter or pioneer of a policy, cause, or belief. USAGE: "Romney is the frontman and apostle of an economic revolution, in which transactions are manufactured instead of products, wealth is generated without accompanying prosperity, and Cayman Islands partnerships are lovingly erected and nurtured while American communities fall apart." Matt Taibbi; Greed and Debt: The True Story of Mitt Romney and Bain Capital; Rolling Stone (New York); Aug 29, 2012. ETYMOLOGY: From Greek apostolos (messenger). Earliest documented use: 950.

I grew up on a farm and while in Thailand, I still love farm boys. So, in honor of Farmer's Day, I am going out on Friday Night and I'm going to pick up a Rice Farmer.

I have finally gotten setteled into Pattaya and went to California Wow this AM to work out and I was surprised to find it was closed. I had seen it open a few months back but have been told it was closed for a couple of months. That does not leave many choices for Pattaya for working out. And, I am pissed to have lost the money I gave them for a 3 Year membership. It sucks they can do this without any reprucussions. Anyone heard of anyone getting their money back from this scam?

I like Brad anyway I can get him!

Sorry guys. It has been a really hectic week here for me. Trying to get an apartment ready and everything has kept me busy with mundane things. However, as Firecat can tell you, I have been a bore for a week. I hope when my BF's go away this weekend, I'll be out to play a bit more.

One of the things I love about gay Thailand is that no matter what size, age, etc. you are, you will always easily find someone who loves you for you in Thailand. It really is a magical place! Now, I realize that love/fetish/desire is often bought and sold in LOS, but that is OK too. I hope that everyone that has never been to Thailand knows that anything is possible in Thailand. I have had so many friends who did not want to visit Thailand because they were not "into Asian" guys. But, everyone one of them had a fantastic time and loved the Kingdom and the boys inside it. I had one kid (college guy) that spent this Junior year of school in Thailand with me a few years back and he said before he came that he was not into Asian guys. As I had traveled with him to Prague and Italy and Amsterdam, I knew his particular fetish was for white guys. But, LOS changed that. Now, he has a very nice life in NYC and has been with a Thai man for 8 years and still loves LOS. Everyone can, and most do, find someone in Thailand that is perfect for them and vice versa!

Boyztown Pattaya: Oct 6th 2012 A Review of a few gay bars
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
2nd night at the Xboys Pattayaland show. Tonight was even better than last night. Different performances. Better routines. And, I LOVE the B Boys! They are delightful! -
Some friends and I went to Copa tonight to get out of the rain. It was delightful. The show was great. The atmosphere was fun and lively and the place has really been decorated fabulously. The performers were really great and the costumes have obviously been given a great deal of thought and money spent. If you are in the area, drop by the Copa bar and show them some love! I really enjoyed my time there and I am sure you will as well!

Boyztown Pattaya: Oct 6th 2012 A Review of a few gay bars
TotallyOz replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I am glad we both agree that there were so many hot guys in Boyztown! Have others been into this mecca of sexuality lately and had good experiences? -
And, I know many that live in Chiang Mai for 1500 USD a month and a great life. The cost of living expenses there is very low. Food is cheap. Boys are cheap. It is paradise! Want me to meet you there and help you find a nice place to live?
