Slightly off topic but the above has me slightly worried. I have a 90 day visa but intend staying 120days with a border run after 90 days. Am I going to have problems boarding when I leave UK as I have a return ticket 120days hence but only a 90 day visa?

. In my experience another reason to avoid apps. You can soon spend a whole evening waiting for boys to turn up whereas you could survey literally hundred in the bars in the same timescale. Maybe apps for the efternoon and bars for the evening?

I personally don’t believe there is such a thing as jet lag. It’s just tiredness, pure and simple. Take a long haul flight ...it,goes,something like this... Get ready to,leave home....3hours Travel to airport...................2hours Check in..............................3 hours Flight boarding etc..............12 hours Leave airport ......................1 hour Travel to destination.............1 hour Sort Hotel unpack, eat etc....2 hours TOTAL .................................24 hours. Way beyond any normal day ....just go and sleep as long as you can. End of problem.

I agree. I look them up before I go and, in the past, chatted to them as well. I found this didn't work as they got too clingy and wanted to meet the minute I arrived. No time to look around. Creepy. So now I look before, make a list, and talk AFTER arriving and only then make arrangements to meet. Seems to work.

If you were to stay at the Tarntawan Hotel, the best know gay hotel, (100 metres from Tawan Bar) the cost would be about 1800 baht. There is no need to pay the amounts you are talking about for hotels, unless you want top of the range.
