November 13, 201510 yr It was only recently when the Thai baht was stronger vis the USD, the Japanese males patronising Soi Thaniya were referred to as 444 for 4 inches, 4 minutes & 4,000 baht. Evidently, they have gained and lost something with the currency fluctuations.
November 30, 201510 yr When you say "tips" are you referring to the fee for the time, or does it actually mean a "tip" where you pay above the playtime rate for good service? On my first visit to Thailand in 1987, the rate for playtime was 400 Baht. That was less than $20 at the time. I am glad to know that the guys are better paid now.

November 30, 201510 yr fee for a time As paying for it is not exactly legal, of course no one does pay. They just offer a tip instead.
