We all have our ways of doing the same thing when it comes to offing staff from a bar.  Some of us will establish how much money the guy wants for a tip before leaving the bar, and some of you have said you just pay the established rate try to stand your ground if more is requested.

I'm the same but for a different reason, I  don't like awkward situations on parting ways and I assume , perhaps wrongly,  that boys are like me  and are trying  harder knowing how much they will get.

 

Often when offing boy offed previously I will give them money in the room  up front, no they never so far took an advantage of situation and skipped on service or time.

None of the options really fit for me. I usually wait until after I take him out of the bar to see how things go. Have a drink somewhere more neutral and then after a drink or two I will talk money. I have become very explicit about what I expect so there are no misunderstandings and offer the usual tip that is the going bar rate with a promise of a bonus for good performance. 

 

This seems to be the best way to encourage a good time. It makes it up to them how much I give and I am pretty  generous if they give mind blowing sex. They still do okay if it is average but after the first time if they are really good they know to give good service in the future and I don't normally have to discuss it twice.

5,000 is the exception to the rule. Do you prefer a high level of service T123? Bare in mind I am pretty needy. Burma isn't set in stone yet just doing the feasibility research on it. 

If I have to talk about money, I prefer to quote a figure at the bottom end of the going rate range & then pay over it for anyone providing at least average service.

I almost always mention the services I expect and and the tip I will pay when in a gogo or bar. I think my long time rate of 2000 baht is good and I cannot recall a refusal. I have mentioned higher tips to ensure a second or subsequent nights when the boy is particularly attractive or his performance in bed was very enjoyable. When I go into daddy mode I mention potential benefits like presents of clothes or a phone in order to keep him performing.

For Pattaya, I think it would be good. I don't think I've gone beyond 1800 there yet.

I imagine 1800 LT in Bangkok might result in a few complaints, but since Bangkok is always at the start of my holiday (with jet lag), I have not tested the LT market.

The 2000 I quoted was in respect of boys in Pattaya, where I spend the majority of my Thai trips. Obviously the cost will be increased by the off fee, boy drinks and maybe a breakfast in the morning.

These days I only negotiate with the guys in Bangkok. What they don't know is that the fee we settle on is the minimum I'm willing to pay. They get more if they put in a good performance.

 

I don't really worry about discussing the fee in Pattaya. I find the guys much less mercenary and I don't recall ever being pressed for extra money after the event.

 

Unfortunately, it's happened a few times in Bangkok so it's best to make things clear from the start.

By no means am I demanding in bed, and I've already just paid 2000, so never had a problem with that.

 

I've never bothered deciding on a price based on level of service, and instead have always used level of service to decide whether or not I'll be a repeat customer.

I have been told that I pay too much. A while ago, two years I think, I took a boy to the beach and happened to sit close to a farang also with his Thai boyfriend. We got into conversation during which he asked me how much I was paying and declared that 2000 was too much. People always love to tell others they pay too much. For some this seems to be an ego thing. Thanks, clear. Since I never bottom performance in a boy is never an issue for me. I do however regurlarly  (50% of offs I estimate) encounter boys who indeed after the deed run immediately to the shower and want to go home. I prefer to lie down a bit after the deed to rest and to talk a bit before we go shower. But it doesn't bother me because I assume it is a job for 95% of money boys and they are not really attracted to older bodies. I am always full of understanding.
